And dairy-free too if needed.

It's not been the best month for a lot of Januaries has it?

Birthdates! OMG I might have to leave this thread!

I'm 20/7/73 - the oldest yet

I noticed today that lo has a 3rd tooth through! Funny thing is, the bottom middle 2 came through and instead of the middle one at the top coming through, the one next to it has (does that make sense?) The thing that's funny about it is it's the same order dd1 got her teeth and they look alike - weighed the same - had the same due date - it's like having the same baby over again!

Not much else to report. Lo slept right through till 7.40 this morning but then I wonder if she did wake in the night and I was so tired I didn't hear her! Does anyone else think that? Dh is in Iceland ( the country not the shop!) so as soon as he's rung to say goodnight I'll be off to bed.

Lizzzombie · 17/09/2007 21:13

hi everyone...I took DJ to the local soft play place (LTH - Treasure Island on the seafront) we had so much fun ! he wouldn't go in the ball pool by himself, so I had to get in there with him - luckily there were no wet ones ! But I could have stayed in there all day!
Except was there with a mate and her 8 month and 2.5 year old girls. The 2.5 year old got me up and around the large part of the play area. Flipping heck it was hard work! I nearly gave up and got stuck...effort was required and everything! But if anyone is ever down in Eastbourne, I can thoroughly recommmend Treasure Island! x

ps.. 21st December 1975 (bring on the mid thirties as from tomorrow we have a people carrier, and i am officially a grown up!)

Not much to report here either. J slept through till 7.30am which made me late will set alarm tomorrow!

All the ear talk made me giggle What constitues a lobe? I know some people have attached lobes (like me) and some have unattached lobes (like DH).

C'mon - someone tell us something interesting??? Surely we have a pregnancy on this thread by now???????????

canmummy · 17/09/2007 21:30

I dreamt I was 22 weeks pregnant a couple of nights ago if that counts Wilkie? Funny thing was, I didn't know and I was like - how come they didn't notice when I was having my operation? (even though in rl I did a test before that was negative)

I feel I have nothing interesting happening at the moment! Got up this morning and just had an overwhelming feeling of "how am I going to fill the next 12 hours?" Is that bad?

(Surely I'm not the oldest - how the hell did I get so old so quick?)

Wilkie · 17/09/2007 21:32

Canmummy - I OFTEN feel like that (God, how am I going to fill my day?!?!?!) - hence why I love my work days so much.

Sometimes, days with an 8 month old are just ENDLESS...................

canmummy · 17/09/2007 21:38

Phew - glad it's not just me. I put her to bed 3 times today because I couldn't bear the whingeing but she must have needed it because she went off to sleep straight away each time! My stomach muscles are killing me so I get easily fed up picking her up and carrying her all the time.

Shouldn't complain as she's going to nursery all day tomorrow and I'll miss her like mad and not know what to do with myself but keep reminding myself I'm off sick for a reason!!

geoRGEEweasley · 17/09/2007 21:38

Canmummy, I am marginally older. And hence the wisest so far on this thread . I share my birthday with Wilkie Junior. But sadly not my year of birth.
PCF I was at secondary school when you were born!

I have something interesting to say . Pippa has started waving bye bye!! How cute is that

Wilkie · 17/09/2007 21:40

RGee - J has been doing that for AGGGGGGGGGEEEEEESSSSSS!!!!

...he starts his GCSEs next week

canmummy · 17/09/2007 21:42

Hooray! Hooray!

I didn't think I was the oldest on the thread but was starting to doubt! I went on a night out a couple of years ago with another mum from dd1's class and was horrified to tell her that the last time I'd been on a night out in the city we were heading to, she would have been 12 years old!

Yes RGee, age is wisdom - does that mean we know it all?

geoRGEEweasley · 17/09/2007 21:48

Only GCSE's?? But P alreaady has a degree Wilkie (a first in really smelly nappies)

Oh yes Canmummy. We definitely know it all. So if anyone wants any unwelcome advice, I will happily be first in the queue to dish it out

Now, back to these ears......

Wilkie · 17/09/2007 21:51

Ah yes RGee, but he has been fast tracked to do a PHD in having a tantrum when I take something off him that he wants and I don't want him to have. He goes rigid, wrinkles his nose and breathes really hard through it. It is SO SO funny to watch.

canmummy · 17/09/2007 21:56

I've just uploaded a picture of lo's christening the other week if anyone wants to look. Worked out how to do it quite easily (age is not always wisdom RGee) so might do some more - what do you guys want to see?

geoRGEEweasley · 17/09/2007 22:00

Hmm..what would I like to see Canmummy? How about a naked butler bringing me a steaming mug of cocoa?

Loved the photo of your girls!

Wilkie · 17/09/2007 22:00

A close up of you - although you look pretty so I may not like you after I see it!!!

geoRGEEweasley · 17/09/2007 22:01

Off to bed now. Catch up later in the week. Have fun!

canmummy · 17/09/2007 22:05

Can't find the naked butler but if you're off to bed anyway...........

Found another one of me and lo but I've had my hair cut short now so actually look nothing like that now! Might find a nice one of me and my lovely dh
