And dairy-free too if needed.

It's not been the best month for a lot of Januaries has it?

LadyTophamHatt · 24/08/2007 20:28

an update on Ds3s sore willy

LadyTophamHatt · 24/08/2007 20:34

WILKIE!!!!!

are youMAD??

I just saw your P&T spaces thread....you loooooon!

Wilkie · 24/08/2007 21:10

I like to live life on the edge LTH

There are some weirdie people about methinks.

LAL - Vilamoura, I would say the restaurants were slightly more expensive than your bog standard resorts. Food was lovely though - there a golf themed restaurant near the Tivoli hotel (called Fairways we think) which was extremely nice. There was also a fab restaurant - if you stand looking at Figo's Bar, it is on the very end at the left of the strip, glass fronted, quite chic - go there!!

Not long to go until Centre Parcs - whoo! I need a break.

Spent the day at mums with my twin neices and sister. It was MANIC! I'm shattered.

Hope this thread brings more luck to everyone than the last one (although poor LTH's DS3's willy )

LadyTophamHatt · 25/08/2007 09:50

Ok, so I've admitted defeat and bought a baby walker.
G has been getting more and more cross with his little chair, he wants to be up right all the time and has wanted to be for ages but being a stubborn ole' bint I wasn't going to get a walker this time.

He sits up in his doughnut thing for a while but gets bored/cross agin within 20 mins or so.

I'd like you all to pray for me because within a few days I'll have 4 mobile children.

God help me.

Trinityrhino · 25/08/2007 10:00

Hi all

gecko is desperately trying to crawl now but only going backwards bless her

we have a slug issue in our front room, how the hell do I stop them coming in.dh has tried to fill the gaps in the rotten window frame but I'm still coming downstaiurs to webs of trails all over the floor

theUrbanDryad · 25/08/2007 10:02

LTH - i feel your pain. Zac's started to be more mobile. he doesn't crawl, but he does a funny little frog hop thing. tis very cute but it does mean he can cover quite a lot of distance in quite a short amount of time! fortunately, we've discovered telly. he sits in front of the tv and watches david attenborough dvd's. pushy parent? moi?

eandh · 25/08/2007 12:42

Hattie loves both her baby walkers, she has one that she sits in and scoots around (pic been on profile awhile of that one) plus the vtech one that she walks and pushes I have lost Ellie for the day as my dad taken her swimming and she has invited herself to stay the night , however, I have acquired a twelve month old girl!! (one of my closest mates dd, her parents live in usa and il's up north) they have never had a day/night without her so she is here till 8pm, they have got train to london to have lunch then see joseph and his technicolour dream coat matinee then back to collect her.

Wilkie · 25/08/2007 18:22

LTH - I too feel your pain. Found J on the 4th, yes that is 4th, step of our stairs today whilst I had been in the kitchen making his lunch. Needless to say, DH has installed a safety gate at the bottom of the stairs now!!!!!

The weather has been fabulous here today! Shame J has been a little cretin all day. I assume it is top teeth coming through cos he keeps rubbing his top lip with his fist and generally being a mardy little soul. He woke at 4am screaming and again at 5.30am. Went back off both times after a mummy cuddle and some calpol.

He hasn't been eating either so for lunch, he had the chavviest lunch ever : toast, 2 chocolate fingers, a couple of spoonfuls of a fruit pot and some malt loaf. It was all he would eat!!!!!!

geoRGEEweasley · 25/08/2007 19:34

Ok, so competitive mum here is starting to feel a bit of all this crawling and mobility. I guess I should be please she sits happily and plays without moving very far from where she is placed, but ...come on Pippa...stop being laxy...

geoRGEEweasley · 25/08/2007 19:35

Wilkie - pmsl at chocolate fingers for lunch nom nom!! Bet J loved them!

2Happy · 25/08/2007 19:52

Forward motion here too this week; it only serves to illustrate how a toddler-friendly house is not a baby-friendly house!

well spoke to my mum and dad - ellie had 3 pieces of toat and honey for lunch and 3 pieces of toast and honey for tea who thinks that one little girl has grandad wrapped round her little finger?

Wilkie · 25/08/2007 20:28

RGee - I sat him in his high chair in just a nappy. He was so covered in chocolate that I had to go and bath him! It was even in his ear WTF???

EAH - go Ellie. Sh shouldn't be so cute and persuasive!

There are frigging mosquitoes everywhere. Have 3 HUGE bites on my arm and one on the sole of my foot that are itching like MAD!!!!!!!!!!

Shimmer · 25/08/2007 22:45

RGee according to my books most babies don't start to crawl til 8-9 months. I know plenty of LOs in RL that are 9 months and only just starting to crawl. I'd give pippa til then before you start giving her a hard time

Nemo2007 · 25/08/2007 23:03

mobile tots = nightmare..now chloe jus crawls agter me crying she cruises along the fireplace and even saw her doing it o the dog today..thankfully dog didnt move while she did it!!
All mine have been mobile early so dont know why I am surprised but with a 3yr old and 20mth old arounf getting to be nightmare

Nemo2007 · 25/08/2007 23:05

RGEE please relish the non moving monets,,wont be long till you are telling her not to touch this or that..pippa no will become youtr mantra

Nemo2007 · 25/08/2007 23:06

TR slugs..put down salt inside and outise where they come in. Got rid of ours no probs

Wilkie · 26/08/2007 13:30

Where is everyone today?

Weather is beautiful here again - mosquito bite on arm is bright red, huge (prob same diameter as a jaffa cake) and hot. Not sure what to put on it?? Anthisan not doing anything. Any suggestions??

LadyTophamHatt · 26/08/2007 16:51

I have a new hobby.

I am LTH the master fisherwoman.

We went to the ebach for high tide thsi morning to catch the incoming mackeral. Ds1's rod was tangled to I untangeld in and cast it in for him.

I caught 4 mackeral in one go.

It was wicked

Spent about4 hours down there and coaught 12 in the about 1.5 hours.

I've just bought myself a pink fishing rod to celebrate.

Wilkie · 26/08/2007 17:51

Well done!! I've always fancied going fishing. Maybe it's 'The Dealiest Catch' got us going LTH???

LadyTophamHatt · 26/08/2007 19:34
