hi impy and castille!

annie vvvvv jealous at you going off on holiday!

talking of interfering helpful in laws, my MIL has just decided to inform me that one of dh's cousins was advised against soya milk for her son when weaning because of the hormones. bloody hell will the woman not keep her bloody nose out??????? so i have reminded her that our paed is one of the best in the country (have no idea whether he is or not but he costs a fortune ) and he is fully aware that jacob is a little boy and still recommended it. and the difference in his congestion at night when he has milk is astounding - almost immediately.

sorry rant over.

actually another one on the way - i'm so hormonal at the moment! dh is being such a self righteous pita at the moment. I envy him knowing everything and being so perfect at everything i really do!!!

that's it, ranting over and done with!

hope everyone keeping well, am sure my bp is on permanent ultra high at the moment

Ceebee- You though Josh looked serious in his pictures, check these out. We had them done last Thursday. It is impossible to get a nice one of DS smiling and instead he walks around looking very anxious!.
Hopefully this link will work, otherwise ive added them to my facebook page

SSS- Hope her eating improves soon. Is there anything that I can post over to you ie ready brek etc. Don?t mind honest.

Floor is going down slowly. Ive been evicted today as the cement is setting so I cant walk on the downstairs of our house until 8pm tonight and theres only so long I could?ve stayed upstairs for.

Castille ? Hello

Impy- Ryans hair is so fair, he looks so grown up. I love your comments on the pictures

spin is it because the milk or formula is different out there? sounds stupid i know, but we were really surprised that jacob wolfed down the milk in NZ, but then he wasn't eating much else then...

shame aobut the swimming lessons - you could always spray tan them so you're not pasty

we haven't taken jacob swimming for a while - we were under the misapprehension that he had a constant cold which turned out to disappear once we switched him onto soya milk! must start doing it again...

hope everyone else ok

Thanks for the compliments laydeez! I tell you, it's a right pain touching up Ryan's dark roots every couple of weeks

You look great HC! (I would have had a shifty grope myself while distracting everyone's attention away from misbehaving hand

Watch that poota, First!!! You think it's never going to happen and then you find yourself crying over a smashed-up lap-top before you know it! And you can't be cross at the little hooligan's cos they don't mean to be destructive! Emma sounds adorable - I love it when they dance! Bless.

Have a fab holiday Annie! Give those twins a squeeze from me! Can't wait to see the pix. Good luck with the sleeping too....

Hope MIL and DH are behaving themselves Lysette. Sounds to me like you need a serious course of yoga to keep the old bp down.... easier said than done with a toddler, I know... Ryan loves soya milk and goat's milk and has never really been keen on cow's stuff. I'm sure it's fine - go with what they want/what suits them best not what you "think" they should be given IFYKWIM.

GORG pix Kbaby! Your DD is a real beaut. Josh is such a sweetie too. Thanks for liking my blog comments! Hope the floor is going ok....

SSS/KZ don't be silly - we all love hearing from you! It must be an incredibly hard emotional time atm, in so many ways. You keep using us a sounding board for whatever's going on. LOL at the pasty POMs! I resigned myself to the same scenario seven years ago when we moved to Spain! (In fact it does my head in when we visit mates in the UK and they say "oh you're not very brown, considering you live in Spain" - like all we do all day is lay around sunbatheing!) Glad you found a good school for the Ch-ster.

Right, have good evening all. Time for my tea... Hugs Impy xxx

Twinklemegan · 14/11/2007 22:59

Echoing the sentiments of the others - lovely pictures Impi. Kbaby I can't see yours, but I've sent you a friend request so perhaps it'll work then.

SSS - glad the gastro has cleared up. As you know, Aidan's been having next to no milk for around 4 months and he's none the worse for it. Lol at putting the lid back on - she knows her own mind that one! I'm sure Chili will get the hang of the swimming eventually.

Well I've given up on trying to catch up on all the old posts. I'm sure I'll pick up on anything important eventually.

In answer to whoever asked, didn't Soph28 come on eons ago to announce she's pg? I was worried about saying congrats just in case anything had happened, but I guess you haven't heard from her again?

Hope you're keeping well Lysette. xx

Have a great time in sunny Tenerife Annie

xx

Bloss ? I hope you are enjoying your last bout of ?freedom?

Kbaby ? gorgeous photos ? although I did get distracted by the ones of Hawaii ? am v v as that is one place I really want to go - was it fab?

Castille ? lovely to hear from you ? don?t leave it so long next time eh?

Impy ? Ryan is such a cutie isn?t he? Fab fab photos.

Anne ? have a great time in Tenerife ? although you will be there by now won?t you?

Spin ? I do love hearing your stories ? you describe them so well and so wittily! I wouldn?t worry about R not drinking milk ? they just keep changing don?t they?

Well, got my AF on Monday so no baby this month ? never mind! Not really that bothered as I didn?t really want another July baby

Am off sick today ? feel absolutely crap! I have no idea what pregnancy did to my body but I NEVER had any time off sick before I got pregnant and this is my second day off since I went back in January ? I just ache from top to bottom DH has it aswell so we are both moping round the house feeling sorry for ourselves ? just glad it is a nursery day as it would have been a struggle to look after Josh today! Although last night me and Dh tossed and turned all night as neither of us could get comfortable ? and Josh chose last night to sleep through for the first time in ages on a night when neither me or DH could appreciate it as we couldn?t sleep ? typical!!

Hope you are all having better days than me
xx

TheGoddessBlossom · 15/11/2007 19:02

evening ladeeez! Kids abed, new leona lewis album playing, dressing gown on, Reveal and Closer magazine on armrest of chair shouting, "Read me you gossip addict, c'mon you know you want to...."

Totally knackered and for once it is because I went out on the lash last night and not because of an early start, as both boys slept till 7am this morning! Had an early Chrimble dinner with about 12 girls last night at a lovely restaurant, had Secret Santa and crackers, the lot it was such fun. Not too hungover either today thank god as still haven't recovered from that blow out a few weeks back. New Best friend and Old best friend hit it off like a house on fire, they were PISSING themselves laughing over god knows what all night as sat next to each other, so that's good. I do have such lovely friends I'm very lucky. It was funny actually as even if I'd wanted to text anyone, I wouldn't have needed to as they were all sitting at the table with me! (I am a text addict)

Thursdays have taken on a new aspect with me at the moment, as in the new regine come December they will be my first day off with the boys after 3 days of working, weird to think that...Harry was so tired tonight he fell asleep while I was drying him after his bath. Bless him. We read "The Night Before Christmas" for his bedtime story last night, I love it!

Toby still has a really hacking chesty cough - went into him this morning and he had been lying in dried puke for hours, , where he's just coughed till he puked. That's about the 3rd time in his whole life he's been sick, poor little sausage. I took him to the doctors on Monday so I know there is pretty much nothing they can do for it, just have to ride it out. He is noteating at all though, but still drinking his milk......

......KZ, how weird that she has just totally stopped taking it! They are so funny aren't they? Just go with it, she'll eother go back to it or she won't, nothing you can do either way. Toby does the same thing with the lid of the bottle, insists on doing it himself, really sweet. at Chilton at swimming. Don't know what I would do if H threw a temper tantrum like that, sure I've got them to come. Probably do exactly what you did, just end the situation. LOL at the smug Aussies. I bet they don't feel as toned tanned and sorted as you think they do. One thing I do know about Aussies having spent a large proportion of my life there, there is nothing more exotic to them as someone from "overseas"....I bet they are all desparate to be your friend. And tans are SO 1975 darling.... (Said like a true freckled person) Great to hear from you, please keep posting.

Hi Castille and First and Impy and CB and Twink, and Lysettes and KBaby and HC and EVERYONE!

Had an HV visit today, she weighed Toby and he is now 28 pounds 7 oz, so he has deffo lost weight. That'll be the not eating...

Right, going to read my trash mags, and eat crisps.

not much to report here - bp better at the moment, but my mum is in hospital yet again with her heart rate pretty much out of control. it's a condition she has all the time but it's flared up twice in the past 3 weeks, which isn't great. still, she is in the best place so that's sotmething at least.

MIL got a mouthful from me on the phone in front of DH and he at lesat saw sense and completely backed me up. I asked if the little boy that couldn't have soya milk because of the oestregen also couldn't drink tap water because of the hormones due to us ladeez peeing out the oestregen - she had no answer to that . I also suggested that i've never seen any little boys running round with breasts because of drinking soya milk.....again no answer

wrote pretty much all our christmas cards today! although most can't be sent because we have to put a photo of jacob in them for everyone overseas . mooooore work for me!

The pair of them

Get me out of here Mummy!

Leo climbed up there by himself...

Leo and a very red-cheeked Aidan

And, for good measure since it's been a while...

A true toddler

A budding musician??

Come on everyone - where are you all??!!!

xx

Twinklemegan · 18/11/2007 14:56

We had a lovely time btw at a local indoor play centre (even if it did take about 20 mins to get a cup of tea!) I can't believe there are only 3 days between Leo and Aidan though, Wallace. There was Leo climbing up and over everything and Aidan looked quite the baby really, bless him.

jacobandlysetteandabump · 18/11/2007 15:45

will have a look at the photos later on.

ceebee sorry i didn't really read any of the posts when i posted - sorry to hear about AF. you'll get there though! as a friend of mine kept telling me - well you've got jacob so you know you can!!!

HC hope you're feeling better

nothing else to report except that i could happily murder DH at the moment - very very very short pregnancy fuse at the mo...

HumphreysCorner · 18/11/2007 18:06

Twinkle-they are really good photos. I see what you mean about the difference between the two of them. If you put Sophie next to them then Aidan would look so big.

Hi Wallace-glad you two had a brill time.

Chill out Lysette and ban your DH from whichever room you are in
