Attention Bloss but me shouting and screaming at Em all the time was one of the main reasons I sought help. Hardly shout at all now . Big hugs ((xx))

Ceebee-DH and I were discussing when I was to take my last pill. At first he said at the end of this packet (3 weeks) then we went back to plan A which is the end of December them temp for 3 months and start TTC in March/April time. Oo-er!!!

Well, I couldn't cope with going back to work yet due to this morning's experience. Had to help out at a WW class at 10am so dropped Em at school then took Soph to my mum and dad's. They asked for the pushchair so I opened the boot to find it not there. I had only gone and left it on the path outside school. As I didn't have time to go back mum and dad did but it wasn't there. I rang the school all embarrassed and luckily one of the mums had rescued it and taken it home then put a note through my door (don't know how she knew where I lived) Phewee!!! Too stressful all this rushing about with young children.

Still feeling poorly so must toddle off to bed at 10pm. Hi to all.

Avo Sheelaghs

(just getting you in the spirit KZ)

HC, sorry I've not been on scrabulous for a while, DH keeps hogging the computer at home. He's trying to book us accommodation in Tenerife for November, with, yes, everyone groan together, the In-Feckin-Laws.
He got a penny flight to Dublin (one night to see the twins) and then a penny flight from there to Tenerife. So a lovely 4.5 hour flight to look forward to with two toddlers. I'm trying to be positive, and it will be nice to relax and let them babysit (yes I have to let them, I have to, I have to...)
Must loose that stone in 4 weeks.

Kayley's wet wraps are still the same, but she now manages to scratch her wrists again, so last night, we put socks on her hands. Seemed to work. Still waking a couple of times. I think she's teething too, so she just screams for ages and punches me in the eye and then goes back to sleep. I couldn't get my lenses in today, cos my eye's sore. Poor mama! Oh well.

Joey went off to Nursery no bother today! He was a bit quiet, but there was no crying and no lip quivering. Phew!

What a palava that morning HC! Glad it worked out ok though. HOpe you are feeling better my dear [hug]

Bloss, hope you're ok too. We all shout, girl! Well I do. I surprise myself sometimes cos I never normally get worked up.
No booze is good. Good good good. I would join you, only I'm out tomorrow night! But no booze last night or tonight. I always want it though. Always. Right now if I could.

CB GOOD LUCK!! with the, you know, thing you mentioned!!

Hi First!! Size 12 is wobbley at the mo! I'm only little!! Still, I have reams of excuses: two babies, drugs, etc...

Kbaby, K does the same as your DS with meals. She won't just sit on her chair and eat her food, she has to throw it on the the floor, then jump down and pick off all our plates...
Not willing to try CC. She's too itchy yet. Good luck if you do though.

Wallace, also a climber here!>

Hi Mae!

Hi to everyone else

Back to the microscope... sigh...

MaeWhooooohest · 16/10/2007 15:15

Sneaking on because I'm s'posed to be working . Out in the rain for a meeting, which was then cancelled, and I have a hole in my boot so now soaking wet foot. What a shining example of working motherhood . And my hair is going frizzy, moan moan.

HC - sounds like you had a mad morning today?! DS came into bed with me at 6am after sleeping all night (bliss) and then he dozed off again after a quick feed. So wanted to just snuggle up with him and sod work... Stay off work and enjoy your girls as long as poss if you can (and No3???)

All this talk of ttc isn't helping my broodiness y'know. Just as you lot are chucking your pills away I've just picked up a prescription. Have mixed feelings about it but DH doesn't seem keen right now. Still, I've only got 3 months worth...

p.s. things sounds really knackering for you at the mo Bloss, do get help if you need it (HC she speaks the truth y'know)

kbaby · 16/10/2007 21:02

We have finally bought a laptop as DH says he is fed up of us living in separate rooms. The problem is as it?s a xmas present he wont let me use it until Xmas. Life is so unfair!

HC- I hope you feel better soon, you really suffer with your throat. At least sophie wasn?t in it

Bloss- Big hugs. Don?t feel bad, everyone has a period of time where things just seem to get on top of them. It will soon pass and the boys will be none the worse for it, honest! If DD is stressing me out and being really whiny and tiring and I think im going to lose the plot we run round the garden, It helps to distress us all even DS. Doesn?t work if your out mind but then I have been known to shout ? For gods sake just be quiet and stop whinging? oh and also scream which is really grown up as DH likes to inform me. But at least I feel better for it. The reason your doing it more now is because H is tired from school and your with them both 24/7. Get yourself away for a few days and relax.
Photos sound fab.

Completely off the topic- James is obsessed with stickers, hes taken all DD?s name tags off her beakers and lunch box etc and no toy has a sticker left on it. So he loves it if I buy him stickers. DD and I then are very unkind and we stick them to his head/face etc as its quite funny anyway today I found him on his own in the playroom with DD?s princess stickers and he was putting them all over his face. Bless him, he must think that?s what you do with them.
Also. DD found a pantyliner in my bag tonight and I caught her in the kitchen with her knickers down sticking it to her lou lou how does she even know where it goes, I am so careful that she never sees me doing it.

AnnieOneSeenMyPumpkin · 17/10/2007 11:02

Morning all!

WE HAD A GREAT NIGHT'S SLEEEEEEEEEEP!!!!!!!
She still woke twice, but only for a quick swig, and no punching! YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY!!!

I guess the Medised helped...

Pretty, happy birthday to your DD!! Have a lovely day with lots of chocolate cake
A lovely sunny day for a London trip too. Have fun, pretty family!

KZ, it is hard to say goodbye, but at least you have your favourite people with you when you move, DH and the gorgeous babes.
My eye is better today thanks! Though she did pull my hair a lot...
We're hoping to be able to reduce the wear of the wet wraps when her skin improves, and then just use them if she has a flare up. But so far, she still has all her scratchy bits.
Hope you get some more sleep...

kbaby, lol at James and his stickers!! And at DD and the pantyliner! It's amazing what they pick up!! She's be well sussed when she grows up.

Mae HI!! Maybe Santa will bring you some new boots!?

Another day looking down the 'scope...
Off I go...

AnnieOneSeenMyPumpkin · 17/10/2007 11:03

She'll be well sussed

MaeWhooooohest · 17/10/2007 19:12

Lovely news about the scan lysettes, and well done to jacob on the walking, it's lovely when they look so pleased with themselves isn't it?

Today was a beautiful sunny day today but we couldn't go out because... DH had forgotten to take the buggy out of the boot and driven off to work with it . We were both bouncing off the walls, managed to play out in the front garden for a bit this afternoon. DS woke up screaming from his nap after only an hour this afternoon and was still tired. Then I blew up at DH and floods of tears etc when he got home as practically the first thing he said was 'So did you manage to get to town anyway to sort out my passort?' Calmed down now and have a lovely big pan of beany soup on the stove, DH is reading the boy a bedtime story and I have gin in the cupboard...

HumphreysCauldronCorner · 17/10/2007 22:44

Lysette- at your scan results. Such a lovely feeling watching the tiny life.

Will catch up tomorrow but Happy B'Day to pretty's DD.

Bloss-you OK hun? Like you all said to me-I am not convinced by your posts ((xx))

morning girls, Hi HC.

Seem to be a bit better this week, although was a bit shouty yesterday. Have resolved not to smack though and feel more in control because of that.

Still find myself saying things like "Harry, please, no more question just for five minutes darling, ok? Please? Just a few minutes of quiet time....please....." in the car, becuase it is just non-stop.

"Mumma what are eyelashes for? Do they kill the dirt? Why? Do baddies have eyelashes? Can we take them off? Why? Can I hold one? Has Toby got eyelashes? Has [insert name of everyone he knows here] got eyelashes? Do baddies get bored in prison? What did they do? Why?" etc.

What KZ said hit home, I know work is probably going to create a whole new set of stresses, and I will miss the boys incredibly, but I am hoping it will make me appreciate the time I do have with them more, and vice versa, and once I et into the swing of it again, I am hoping I will enjoy it. We'll see, gotta get the job first and if it's too much I'll just throw in the towel and try again in a year or so.

Went to make our Christmas cake yesterday moring, but had no brandy, so made a carrot cake instead, yummy.

No drink at ll yet this week, I certainly feel better for it in the mornings, although am still waking at about 5ish for some reason.

Have started taking H to the loo for a wee when I go up to bed, when I heard my friend did it with her 4 year old, which seems to stop H waking at about 5.30am for a wee, and shouting at his gate thus waking up T etc. This morning we were all still in bed at 6.45 which was total bliss! Will keep doing the late wee with H, he doesn't even wake up really and I get an etra cuddle and an "I love you too Mummy" which makes me feel all gooey inside.

Playgroup this morning, then walk in the woods this afternoon, then I'm going swimming this evening with my friend, looking forward to it.

Blossom - I only do 2 days at work (plenty for me at the moment) but really appreciate spending time with DS on my days off. I don't miss him as such when I'm in the thick of work (does that sound bad? ) but when the clock ticks round to picking-up time I'm out that door! Had a real buzz today because I managed to get some great press coverage for one of my projects, felt that great surge of acheivement and for once it wasn't about DS learning to stack a block etc, it was about me as an adult. Although working has its own stresses and strains I think it can give you some perspective on mothering. Just my opinion, I know it's different for everyone.

mooncup-I am astounded by the amount of things you are 'coping' with at the moment. There is me happily planning Christmas and received a box of pressies from Studio Cards yesterday but then I thought, K can't start any of this until settled in Aus. It, must be v. hard and sad to say goodbye to everyone. It was bad enough when Em left nursery to go to school. And you still find time to post as we are all in your thoughts-your head will be exploding soon.

Hi Bloss

Mae-you seem to manage your time quite well methinks.

Me is still poorly-really struggling to shake this off. Glad it is half term in a way as I don't need to rush around quite so much.

DH is off so getting nowt done!

Hugs to all on this lovely sunny day.

Meant to say-was downstairs with DH and then we wondered why it had gone quiet so went to look for Sophie and she was upstairs It is the first time she has climbed the stairs so must remember to keep the stairgate firmly shut!

Hello All

Another crap night last night. Ironically, the wet wrap woman rang to see how we were doing, and i said, oh it's good, much improved blah blah, then last night she was awake most of the night fidgeting like a... whatever fidgets a lot. Her skin does actually seem a lot better, but she still digs away at her wrists. And sits on my face. And pokes my eyes. And 'strokes' my hair. By 'strokes' I mean 'tugs really fucking hard a million times'...
Poor me...
She won't sleep unless her arms are wrapped around my neck and her face is resting on mine. And that's cute for about a minute.

Still can't complain too much, DH had to get up to Joey 6 times!! He has a bit of a cold and I think his molars are coming through. Though I thought he had all his teeth. Shows how much I know.

HC, Sophie's so adorable! Innit scary for a second when you don't know where they are, and suddenly they're on the top of the stairs! Is she walking now, I don't remember?
Hope you are feeling better.

KZ I echo what HC said, you are juggling so much, emotionally and all. I hear they're making a new SuperWoman movie, have you auditioned? [not funny Annie]

BTW when I moaned about my upcoming 4.5 hour flight, I did think of you and your 10 hour one, immediately after I posted! Sorry!!! I can think of you, and how much longer it could have been.

Bloss, how's your booze free week? Are you feeling better for it!? I had a booze free Monday. That's all. It's all DH's fault, he can't just buy one bottle of wine for a Sunday evening, he has to buy six (cos then you get your five per cent off), so they just sit there waiting to be drank. And you know how quickly wine goes off it you don't drink it...
Hope you're feeling on top of things, hun, if not, listen to the wise ole crones on here (not me, I know nothing).

Come On England!

Have a good weekend girls!

Crikey-Annie, what a rough night. Poor little mites. You must be exhausted!

No, Sophie is still refusing to walk-little madam.

Also meant to say that we had parents evening last night and Emma is very bossy apparently as if we didn't know that already

hiya bloss!!!!

mooncup it certainyl does sound like you are coping with a humungus amount - no wonder you just welled up!

jacob currently pottering around in the kitchen emptying things off the shelves - all cushions for the outside chairs so he can't come to much harm . he's taking a few steps each day so very pleased with that!

HC we have the same thing with jacob and the stairs - but ours are curved at the bottom so we can only have a stair gate at the top... just now he managed to get up to the top and then close the gate behind him! and then grinned!!!

I too am happily planning christmas! ocado emailed me to say their christmas slots are now open so have planned that all!!!

o'h and bought my first bit of maternity gear today as we are officially 12 weeks now!

xxxx

ps we of course are supporting south africa on saturday what with dh being a kiwi and me being half welshy

ceebeegeebies · 19/10/2007 20:16

HC ? I really don?t understand all the ?temp? business when TTC . We used ovulation tests last time ? however, I conceived 2 weeks after a positive result on those so I don?t have much faith in them so I think we are going to leave it to nature (for the first few months anyway).

Pretty ? how was DD?s birthday? In terms of sleepless nights, we had very few of those with Josh so I think we are naively thinking baby no 2 will be the same ? haha

Lysette ? great news about the scan ? it must seem real now that you have seen the little bean on screen!

Spin ? you have got SO much on your plate, I am full of admiration for you. Just the thought of moving house (let alone continent) brings me out in a cold sweat! You are going to have some emotional times ahead these last couple of weeks so I hope you are ok and surely that is what e-mail/internet was invented for wasn?t it??

Feeling crap tonight ? have got my first real period since coming off the pill and I forgot how heavy and painful they were ? I feel like my insides are falling out tbh. So, to cheer myself up, I have just had some baked camembert and Chardonnay whilst I still can.

Nothing new with Josh ? I guess once they start walking, there aren?t really any other milestones to look for ? or am I wrong? He has started to say ?uh-oh? whenever he drops something or falls over ? very cute but no idea where he got that from because neither me or DH do it.

Anyway, England for me tomorrow aswell.

Have a good night and hi to everyone else.

TheGoddessBlossom · 19/10/2007 20:37

You'd be surprised CB, what you say and you don't realise it. Harry said "Calm yourself" to Toby today, and I thought hey I don't say that....do I? And a friend told me I say it all the time!!!

So swimming then turned into a quick drink in the pub, which turned into 6 large glasses of red on an empty stomach and a taxi home. To a drunken row with DH which I can't remember, but must have been bad cos he slept in spare room.

Friends now though thankfully. JeZUZ did I feel like shit on a stick today. Had to lie on the sofa moaning till about 8am when I had to rouse myself to get them some brekkie. Class parenting. I am never drinking again.

Still no word on when my second interview is. New suit turned up, it is seriously smart It's a teeny bit big though not sure whether to keep it or not, I think the next size down will be too small.....

T still Mr Clingfilm, but he wasn't too bad today. Off his food - or should I say he is totally off it if it is presented to him whilst he is seated in his high chair, in a bowl with a spoon. Won't eat a bite of anything like that. However if it is my yoghurt/cereal/sandwich/biscuit he will down the lot as he holds onto my trouser leg...

H wa little angel today. My big boy. I always call him baby, but he won't let me now, says "No Mummy I'm a big boy". I always say "I love you with Big Love Harry" and he says "do you love Toby with little love Mummy?" and I have to try to explan that I love them both with big love, but he is insistent. I just sit and stare at him at the moment he's so beautiful I just want to cuddle and kiss him. Also really relishing Toby's babyness at the moment, it went by so fast with H before I had time to appreciate it, so really savouring Toby being pre-speech really, his toddle, the new things he does and his waddle around wearing a vest and nappy. He'll accept a toy from you and say "Bob boy" as good bye and off he goes...

Spin, you are a superhero. I think I would have cried too!

Annie, your nights sound like hell. Poor you. LOL at Kayley sleeping on your head, I bet you don't think it's funny, how do you get any sleep at all?

Hi to all.
