Morning all

Lol-Sophie hasn't worn those those in the summer as they were bought for last winter's use but were too big until Feb so haven't had too much use. Am a tad obsessed with having the girls looking clean at all times and even make Em wear a bib at times

SSS-Roshi is a ray of sunshine.

Right-here it is girls, my before and nearly at target photos..........................

at Christmas
at Christmas
last month

Thing is, have been at this 'place' so many times before so am going to try and lose a little bit more than my goal weight so that when I put a stone on over Christmas I won't be too much more than I am now.

Sophie desperate for a nap and she is full of cold so better go and put her to bed. Have a good day ladies.

my god HC, you look like a completely different person! Amazing!

prettymum · 01/10/2007 10:42

morning ladies!

hc- wow, you look wonderful in the recent pic! wd with the weight loss! you deserve a medal!

bloss- hope youre feeling better, it is hard at times when you feel like everythings out of control. but thats normal, i get like that and end up taking it out all my frustrations on dp.

kbaby- dds like your dd too, constantly telling junior off for being naughty, trying to feed him and getting him to play with his toys. but the way they wrestle, it gets rough and im afraid that he'll try playing rough with other kids in play group and scare them off!

i lost my purse on saturday! it had all my bank cards, credit cards, drivers license, some other cards and around £20 in it! so devastated, im hoping someone found it and hands it in.

i received my george foreman grill today! yay been dying to buy one for ages, now need to wait for my replacement cards to come so i can shop for some pork and lamb chops!

better get off and clean the flat up, i tidied up last night and its now looks like a rubbish site!

jacobandlysette · 01/10/2007 15:27

hey everyone!

impy glad the curry diet is helping!

HC WOW!!! agree with bloss you look like a completely different person in the last one.

bloss - I am with HC o nthis. before i went to the docs earlier this year it was really the tiny little things that were really getting me down. it might even be a real help just to talk to someone about it. When i had depression in my early 20's the best thing was actually going to the docs and just bursting into tears and saying "I'm lucky if i get to 10am without doing this". Even just saying that helped And i know what you mean about being labelled a non coper - i am exactly the same, but do what feels best for you.

sorry for the lecture there!

i too launder jacob's bedding once a week. we got him his first duvet this week - more just to sleep on as when he comes in with us he loves snuggling with the duvet around him, so we reckon that if we have the same thing in his cot bed it might help, and seems to be at the moment. he's also got drops for his congestion from the docs and that seems to be helping a bit too.

tlaking about growth spurts - jacob has had one for about 2.5 months now! he's gone from fitting 6/12 month clothes to completely out of them and into 12/18 month and in some cases 18/24 month clothes really well. although trousers are so varied - some of them are only about an inch too long for him but massive round the waist, others are ok round the waist and 2- inches too long! shirts and tops etc he's generally in 18 month ones now. must do a bit more shopping for him as well as he's grown out of stuff so quickly we are a bit down on things! DH is hoping that the bean is a boy so we can pass down a lot of jacob's clothes, whereas i have a secret fancy for buying dresses etc .

agalch great idea for christmas - i have my parents and PILs this year, and will be 5 months pg so that'll be fun.... must make christmas cake this week - supposed to do it today but forgot list at tescos for ingredients! am feeling less sick (diet of baked potatoes and plain noodle soup is helping), but now have no memory!

anyway, sorry for massive long mammoth post, and for everyone i have missed - castille are you out there???

xxx

agalch · 01/10/2007 19:59

Evening all

Lysette sympathy,i did Christmas while just pg with Eilidh and dd1 was 18 months and it was grim. And nobody helped as usual except Dh of course.

Took ds1 to the shopping centre today after school for t-shirts for the hols and he was handing in his CV to different shops to try and get part time work so keep your fingers crossed for him please everyone??

HC omg you look sooo much younger now you have lost weight. You have done so well losing weight. How much have you lost atm?

Pretty you poor thing. Hope someone hands it in (((hugs)))

Gonna do Niamhs story so have a good night xxx

Hi ladies

Am back from holiday (and am a bit ashamed to say, I am glad!). It was ok but there is not much to do in Anglesey (actually, there is f* all to do) apart from go to the beaches which is where we spent most of the time - will post photos tomorrow if I get a chance - Josh absolutely loved the sand and paddling in the sea.

Weather was good - dry but very cold and windy the first couple of days and then it warmed up a bit.

There is also no child-friendly, decent restaurants that we could find so we ended up staying in every night eating ready meals from various supermarkets and the cottage was all open-plan so there was no door on the bedroom which meant that once Josh was in bed, we had to sit downstairs with the telly on very quietly and very little light.

But apart from that, it was good but I was ready to come home yesterday but DH wouldn't budge!

Josh's walking has come on leaps and bounds so he walks everywhere now - went to Clarks to get him measured today and bought his first pair of shoes (proud mummy moment!)

Lysette - have found you on Facebook I think so you should have an e-mail from me. I thought Jacob was a similar size to Josh but obviously not as Josh is still in 6-9 month trousers (although he is growing out of these) and 9-12 months tops (although he seems to have developed the hugest tummy over the last couple of days ) Am wondering if it was because, this week, he has lived off peanut butter sandwiches, bananas and generally the crappiest diet you can think of!

Pretty - re Facebook - I found you because I was browsing on the Mumsnet group and there was a thread about what your Mumsnet nickname was - and there you were (not stalking you I promise ).

Hi to everyone else - will try a proper catch-up tomorrow when I should have more time x

ceebee74 · 01/10/2007 20:18

Meant to say - HC - wow wow wow! You look amazing and should be VERY proud of yourself

OMIGOD!!

Where's that job.....

Hey all - you look amazing HC, noticed the diff in your Facebook pic too

Sorry to hear that you're feeling down Bloss. Do get help if you need it, depression is not 'feeling sorry for yourself'

algach - Dom has 8 teeth now and sometimes the top ones rub a bit when he's feeding and getting a bit lazy about his latch. Not comfy. Then I afterwards I can see toothmarks in the boob . Just morning and night here so doesn't feel so full on any more.

Apart from a hacking cough, Dom is full of beans - also doing the zombie lurch He has about 3 words: daddy, duck and oh dear. His favourite game is emptying everything out of my handbag. He is eating everything in sight again and is in mix of 12-18 month and 18-24 clothes. His sleeping had got a bit disrupted again until I put the heater on in his room and he started sleeping through again . I think the poor boy was a little nippy...

ceebee74 · 01/10/2007 21:13

Bloss - I don't know what to say to your post - just the very thought of what Toby ate makes me feel a tad queasy. Definitely makes a working day look very attractive I guess....

Spin - I so wish I had spoken to you before booking the holiday. I know exactly why you would have driven round the island and then straight back off - there is feck all there (apart from lovely beaches). But, I am putting it down to experience and really hoping we can go abroad next year!

Good evening everyone. Long time no speak

Been a while so, if you want, a quick update on all would be great, although I shall do my best to read through the millions of pages of stuff about our beautiful babies.

I shall start.

Baby Pavlov - blonde hair, blue eyes, now weighs about 22lb. Walks unaided, likes to carry bags/her little basket, putting rocks in as she walks (for about 3 months), says 9 words - mama, dada, dog (duh) cat (cah), down (with pointed finger), yes (yeash), no (with shake of head, wiggle of finger) that, look, bye (dyeee, accomapied by a wave, usually after shutting the door on me, although today say bye) and doish - which is not technically a word, but applies to anything she wants to eat/drink. She kisses on command, cleans the table after herself, likes sweeping, putting her reins on her teddies, putting teddies to bed. She sleeps from 8pm-8am most days. Has 11, almost 12 teeth. She was flower girl at my wedding, looked amazing. pictures to follow, eventually.

Add to it to make a list if you want be great to get a little summary.

btw, I am now a married pavlovthecat.

Prettymum-what a downer losing your purse. Do hope it turns up.

Bloss-eww at Toby eating poo. Think that incident would have finished me off! Hope all OK today.

Mrs Pavlov-Congratulations to you all and welcome back.

Thank you for your kind words ladies. Can't believe I am going to get PG (hopefully) and put some weight back on again. At least I won't reach 13 stone again.

Better put some washing in as it is an excellent drying day.

Love to all

Morning

Good to see you again Pav - (or Mrs Pav as we should now call you )

Spin - just read further down about you putting your radiators on and getting that 'sick' feeling. The same thing happened to me on holiday - I had bought a deodorant (which I must have used when pg) and the very first instance I put it on, I just wanted to heave! It bought back all those horrible 'morning sickness' feelings again to the extent that I had to wash it off and made Dh take me to a supermarket to buy something else!

Holiday photos here:

hey everyone!

cb - i got totally confused from your facebook request - used to go to school with a girl with the same RL name as you and was wondering why on earth she would have looked me up!!! then realised who it was and promptly clicked the wrong button.....

pics of jacob

on his trike

considering the all blacks performance

on the swings

the big news is that we went on a playdate today with two 2 year old girls and the big man stood up on his own for well over a minute! he has shown no interest in doing this until they were standing up eating a cookie and then there he was! and he kind of turned and moved his foot forward but i don't think it counts as a step yet...

bloss i howled with laughter! sorry i know it must have been awful - nearly as nice as jacob vomming and then picking it off himself and eating it...

pretty meant to say you poor thing that's such a pita

TheGoddessBlossom · 02/10/2007 19:02

now I happen to think my two are pretty easy on the eye, but blimey! Josh and Jacob are truly gorgeous! Lovely pics girls.

Have had an excellent day, 4 hours at a new soft play centre, with some girlfriends that go back along way, dear friends, and their kids of course. Boys loved it, it wasn't the temperature of the sun in there, could take packed lunches so it didn't mean a second mortgage to eat, and to top the day off made them a courgette and mushroom frittata for tea, which they both nailed with gusto so feel that the Goddess Crown has been gingerly put back in place. For now.

ceebee - I'm biased having a dark-eyed blondie boy myself, what lovely photos! I put some of Dom (eating, so what's new) on Facebook today. Will try to do a link.

Hey Mrs Pav Sounds like married life suits you. Been a bit quiet around here without you .
