SSS lol at the ringwraith screeching - that describes jacob perfectly! the childminder that comes ones a week was completley blown away with his tantrums yesterday, although he was feeling poorly as he threw up all his dinner and milk just before going to sleep - at least dh had been sensible and come home so was there as a welcome help!

not much else to report here - b pressure is shooting up through the roof again so i am already on pills and we are having to think what we will do if i get kept in hospital for observation at any point. my mother isn't coping very well at the moment and i think may be suffering from depression so she won't be able to come and help, which actually makes her feel even worse - she has yet another consultation for tests for parkinsons in a few weeks time - can't believe it is taking so long to sort out but i guess thats the nhs for you, especially where they live.

Hi Girls

Some good news from home, my brother's wife has had her twins! Twin boys, around 4 lb each, born by emergency caesarian this morning, seven weeks early! He said she had a waters breaking sensation, so they went in, and they did scans etc, and found the placenta of one was breaking away from the uterus, so it was 'Right, ok, off to theatre NOW'...
All are well I believe, though SIL was still under when I spoke to him, which was only an hour or so after, but both babies are in incubators

AAaaaaaaawww!

The in-laws are here, HC, I'm afraid I cooked them a rather nice curry last night. I should have made it really hot, as they don't like it hot... Had a couple of pints with DH while they ran around the pub after J+K though!!

Lysette, to you, x

KZ you definitely have the right idea!! Sending them off to Wales! Unfortunately, they've come to see us, so can't really do that... LOL at Roshi, so independent!!

Pretty, Ifound you through Ceebee! Dont know how she found you. Ceebee, explain yourself!
your two chasing each other and making a big mess sounds so familiar!

HC your cakes sounds scrummy x

Best go, DH is ranting about being stuck in the house all day every day, so what can we do. Well you play with your parents 'DARLING', i'm not...

Off to hide now.

jacobandlysette · 27/09/2007 16:56

o'h annie that's great news! congratulations for them, and 4lb each is great for twins at 7 weeks early!

ceebee find me??????? i'm terrible at finding anyone on facebook, and even more terrible at putting photos on there...

feeling much better here - sicky wise at least, although that's given way to being shattered! can't wait for dh to be here at the weekend so i can just sleep, although it means he can't watch the rugby and has to interact with jacob - shame that. he is now repeating his mantra of "pregnant women are MEAN" over and over again!

Annie big congrats to your new family additions, wonderful news.

Ever feel like you are walking uphill through glue with your dad's hobnail boots on, and doing it very badly? Don't know what's wrong with me at the moment. Feel like I never stop telling Harry off. Ever. eat your tea harry eat your tea harry eat your tea harry EAT YOUR TEA HARRY!!!! feel like a monster. Then get bollocked by DH for having a "facelike a slapped arse" when he gets home after I've done the gruelling getting them through tea getting them through the bath getting them in PJs marathon. White wine. It's the only way.

sounds suspiciously like how I felt prior to my visit to the Doc earlier on in the year Bloss. Perhaps a small visit to your Doc might be in order. Always here to listen remember and have big shoulders to carry the weight. I still have the white wine every night though.

Annie-wonderful news and gorgeous teeny tiny twin boys too. Aww

Love to all.

Lol at your threatening SSS. I do that to Em as Sophie usually finishes first-Em soon speeds up so that she can play in the bath with Sophie.

Bloss-how's today going?

Went to the Macmillan coffee morning this morning with MIL. It was lovely and I had a huge slice of yummy chocolate cake so no doubt there will be zero weight loss again this week! MIL then went to SIL's house so I came home-going to meet DH for lunch then it will be time to pick Em up from school.

Have a good afternoon ladies.

Hi girls,

Not too bad thanks HC, real ups and downs at the moment. H asleep in the car, not going to risk transferring him to bed in case he wakes up. Need him to have a kip as we have friends coming to play this afternoon and he will be a monster without one.

Took T to singing with my mum this morning, mum nearly got me to turn round and go home again as she said I seemed so down and T was crying but was glad we went when we got there.

I have thought about it being depression a bit HC, because it is so unlike me and doesn't seem to be lifting particularly. It's a dirty word in my family though, and attributed (wrongly of course) to too much navel gazing. ANd DH would deffo not understand. Also would hate to be labelled as a non-coper, ridiculous as that sounds. It's just stupid things that seem to be dragging me down - eg, have been meaning to send Harry's thankyou cards for his birthday presents for weeks - every time I get to a shop that sells cards, NONE of them have the packets of multiples that you need - so it will involve a trip into town, probably with both boys, to get to a Clintons to get some, which is a small thing but seems so huge for some reason, and totally exhausting! I mean talk about a fuss over nothing but yet the job remains undone. Stupid realy but it's that kind of thing, a small thill that becomes an insurmountable mountain....

Sure things will pick up soon, H just going through a challenging time at the moment.

T had his jabs today, didn't bat an eyelid!!

Bloss, it is those silly little things that seem so big that sent me for help. Every little problem was so huge I cried and cried. Hugs, hugs, hugs. ((()))

Bloss, hugs to you babe. If it's not just PMT, then listen to HC. PMT gets me for about a week and a half before then: OH, that's what it was... Bless lil Tobes and his jabs. x

Morning all!!!

It's pissing down here again. Gotta decide whether or not to take the dd's to a mindees birthday party today. Both have a cold(Eilidh much worse than dd1)and are whinging lke mad.Just don't know if i can be arsed and if it might be not nice to spread germs around?
The dad of mindee is a twat (nutter) so wouldn't mind missing it iyswim?

Eilidh has cut her 4th tooth at last, she is looking sooooo cute these days. She can say mummy, daddy, lights, dog, woof woof etc.
Still bfing and bit painful atm cos of the razor sharp fangs ouch!!'

Have decided to go out for Christmas dinner to the local Chinese Buffet. They will be doing usual fare plus turkey stuff.Just told the family i am fed up doing all the cooking and cleaning and they can come or not. They all said yes of course lol.Really looking forward to it as no hard work for meee!!And its cheaper for the six of us to eat there than for me to cook for the family too.

Have been to the GP this week,my periods have been coming every 13/15 days and i bleed massively so have got tablets to delay my period for my hols and i will either have the Mirena coil or go on a mini-pill(cezerette) which will stop my AF altogether. Will have to think about which option i want to try.

Not at all organised for my hols.Got to do loads of little bits and the thought of taking the girls is awful.

So girls do we party or not???

HumphreysCorner · 29/09/2007 11:23

Hi all

SSS-when I was having down time the first time at work in 1997 I used to carry my work to do in a plastic folder (we didn't have a desk to ourselves) and everytime I took the work out my mind went blank and everything was a blur so kept panicing. One of my colleagues sat me down and we went through each piece of work and sorted it. It was all so simple really so what I'm trying to say is that what you said is a terrific idea.

agalch-that's good about Christmas Dinner. I will be expecting at least 12 again but don't mind as mum helps and not PG this year so can drink and cook. I am on Noriday which is a pill you take every day but I always got AF every 28 days until this month-had spotting and cramps but nothing else. Feel I need a clearout. Can't wait to stop taking it at the end of the year so my body can return to normal.

Question-how often do you all wash the cot bedding?

Right, have finished my cuppa so better press on. DH has taken Em out and Sophie is in bed.

Laters.

Didn?t need the fire brigade but the first thing DH said when he got in 6 hrs later was ?what have your burnt? I pointed out the chargrilled remains by the back door.

I think ds is hitting the tantrum stage, had a right paddy today when I wouldn?t let him on the football field at the park to play football with the men, even after I had carried him back into the park he was still stubbornly making for the field and then just sat on his bum and cried while DD tried to drag him back.

I actually feel sorry for him because he seems to have 2 mums. DD has decided that she has to look after him and me, so I get shouted at for leaving the stair gate open, tv remotes and cups on the floor, he gets told what he can and cant eat/play/do, what things are too small too big for him. She actually does a very impressive job. Me shouting at him for playing with the DVD player doesn?t work but if DD shouts at him its enough to stop him touching it for life(shes very frightening) she goes around going ?alright sweetheart? and ?oh my babes?

DS also have a new word ?conker? he loves picking them up in the park and said it today, odd choice of word given the fact that he still only says about 3 to 4 words, would?ve thought milk or something would?ve been easier to say.

Bloss- I think a part time job would do you the world of good. It would give you a break and stop everything from feeling so monotonous. Hope you feel a bit brighter soon.

agalch · 30/09/2007 09:37

Good Morning all

SSS i decided not to take them to the party, just wasn't worth it in the end.Eilidh went for a 2 hr nap so she would have been murder anyway lol. Don't be of me still bfing. My norks are killing me,what with her feeding so much cos she's not well and 2 new teeth it's not pleasant. But saying that we both still enjoy it so will be fine once we get over this hurdle.

Glad girls are ill now as they should be in fine fettle for going on hols.

Kbaby i was lol at your dd. Mine is the same,dd1 was 3 in August and she comes out with some corkers.Calls Eilidh sweetie etc cos i do. She also stands with her hands on her hips and gives her brothers what for. I cringe at times

Better get on and entertain my dd's,crap mummy that i am!!!

ImpyChica · 30/09/2007 10:07

Hi laydeeeez.

Hope everyone's ok, enjoying the weekend and all.

{{{{waves at Annie}}}} - have been on the curry diet to feel closer to dp, thanks! Feel like a limb's missing when he's away . Great news about your SIL. When are you going to see them all? Are they identical? So exciting!

Hi Pretty. Was Junior on crimewatch you were watching? sounds like a right little hooligan! Ry's not far behind - he smashed a measuring jug the other day and am waiting for him to destroy the dvd and video recorder now I've had to bring them down from the top of the telly since he was nearly pulling them down on top of himself.....

K/SSS - post some pix of Roshi asap!!! (forget all your packing and organising - get your priorities straight!!! ) Ry suddenly started the "madam" behaviour yesterday - would not go into his buggy after he'd been walking around a plaza near us. My friend who was staying, who is an experienced mum-of-two had to show me how to force him in!!! Does this phase last long????? Ahhhh! (my friend also worried me by saying Ryan looks more like a 10-month-old than a 15-month-old...... so used to him being big for his age but he has been in the same clothes for months now.... I guess he'll have a spurt soon. Hope you get over your cold soon.

Hope you're ok Lysette. Poor thing. Hope they diagnose your mum asap. It might not be as bad as you think.... my fil has been diagnosed with a weird disorder which is treatable with steroids and anti-eplieptic pills - but for a while we thought he might have Parkinson's. {{{{{hugs}}}}}} anyway.

Hope you're ok Bloss. Don't feel ashamed to seek help - you're not a failure. You're doing a great job with your boys but it's not surprising that it gets a bit much at times. I wondered if I had a bit of PND - I cry at anything and really struggle to sleep well. I've started taking vitamin supplements and cut down on the ridiculous amounts of choc I used to eat, also writing a bit of a journal before I go to sleep to "wipe the slate clean" - and am starting to sleep a bit better and feel generally better in myself....

Once a week on the bedding washing, HC!

LOL at your DD, Kbaby! She sounds like a star. That's why I want a decent size gap between Ry and the next one - let him do most of the work!

Sympathy with the painful norks, Algach! I was there a couple of months ago. Now Ry's down to just feeding in the morning and he's learnt that it's not polite to nibble the nips!

Had a lovely weekend with my mate and her four-and-a-half year old - he was so lovely and Ryan adored him! Ryan's walking more and more each day, really gaining in confidence - dp's gonna be so impressed!

Well, hugs to all. Impy xxx

HumphreysCorner · 30/09/2007 11:07

Morning ladies

We are the family poorly at the moment so hugs to all suffering. Em brought in the cold germ and Sophie caught it, then me, then DH and now EM. GGGRRRHHH!!!

Must wash cot bedding more and Em's bedding come to think of it. Do ours weekly but tend to leave Em's about 3 weeks and Sophie's sometimes longer

Just for a laugh-here is Sophie at 8 months and today at 15 months wearing the same outfit which still has plenty of growth left in it.

Off to do veg for tea.

Sorry guys, can never find the time to keep up at mo

those photos are gorgeous HC See what you mean about the outfit Leo still fits into a pair of joggers he got last Christams (5 months) and he is 30lbs! I wonder if I have any photos... Only doifference is.. Sophie's outfit is still beautifully clean, Leos clothes are always stained and filthy
