Thid?

Well thed Kitty!!

Muppet - I was rather hoping you might tell me how old my son is as I have lost track completely. people keep asking and I reply "oh, err, about 5 months!"

Monti slept a bit better after his 6 spoonfuls of puree

divastrop · 02/08/2007 17:42

ok,i will catch up later as im very behind.(i mean catch up with the old thread, ive read the other 2 messages on here).have been to the south lakes meet up after another mner who lives nearby kindly offered to give me a lift.so Elsie,ds2 and i have been getting lost in a maze and meeting other mners.

foxy-i always lose track of how old my babies are in weeks once they get past 4 months.i just say Elsie is nearly 5 months if anybody asks now.

better go and wash up etc etc willcatch up when lo's are in bed

TheBlonde · 02/08/2007 17:43

TheBlonde · 02/08/2007 17:47

Well done Kitty - inspiration

foxcub · 02/08/2007 19:00

Diva - sorry for losing the plot but has Elsie had any solids yet? She and Monti are around the same age too aren't they?

I know you've mentioned this but after two glasses of cava (its only 7pm) I can't remember what you'd said [hic]

DollyPopsOut · 02/08/2007 20:10

A quick one - we are a house of ilness and misery (well, in health terms). DD1 - urine infection, DH pulled hamstring, me sore throat and no voice. DD2 - gorgeous, no problems at all. Still smiling away. Will post properly when more time. hope all are well.

DD2 is now either 20 or 21 weeks (19th March) and no solids or any interest in them yet. Am holding off for a while as I am too lazy.

Love to all

kittywits · 02/08/2007 20:28

Dolly, hope your household recovers soon

Ronnie is 16 weeks, 4 months next week. Ds1 is 9 next week too. Where's my first baby gone ?

divastrop · 02/08/2007 20:32

fox-Elsie started having solids about 3 weeks ago i think.she has just progressed to a whole pot of fruit puree at lunchtime rather than half.

blimey,ds1 was having 3 meals a day at this age, cereal for breakfast, sandwiches for lunch and 7 month+ baby food for tea.i probably gave him blackcurrant squash to drink as well.he's never had any digestive problems, allergies or food intolerance though.strange.

divastrop · 02/08/2007 20:34

dolly-hope evryone is better soon.im sure there's more illness around in the summer then there ever used to be.

evenhope · 02/08/2007 22:12

Dolly mine was 20 weeks on Tuesday (13th March) if that helps!

Had her weighed yesterday and she's 16lb 6 1/2. Checked all the other babybooks and she's bigger than all the others, even though the boys were all bigger at birth. DD1 wasn't 16lb 6 until 8 months!

Are we the only ones not trying solids?

TheBlonde · 02/08/2007 22:15

Evenhope - you are not alone, no solids here yet

evenhope · 02/08/2007 22:33

Glad to hear that TheBlonde! Are you planning to hold out until 6 months?

TheBlonde · 02/08/2007 22:36

Yes might even wait a bit longer, depends how quickly DD starts sitting
DS was I think just a few days shy of 26 weeks and he couldn't really sit up then

Callieco · 02/08/2007 22:38

TheBlonde - I started solids nearly four weeks ago but then Jordi was six months, cos they tell you to ignore the prem bit when it comes to food. I'm dead proud of myself because I made a whole pile of potato and carrot puree tonight, which made about 10 meals. He should have been 21 weeks today but is actually 29 and a bit. Diva, Jordi's having two 'meals' a day now, and I bet if I offered him three, he would wolf it down!

I went to get him weighed today and he's 18lb 10oz, and 66cm. He's following exactly the same line halfway between 75th and 91st centile for weight.

Muppet - can't believe we were in Bradford at the same time! Is that actually where you are from then?I was chilling out, or rather soaking up the heat, in the camping field though in the morning. It was lovely, baby slept well, despite my fears of him getting cold. His face and hands did get cold, but he didn't wake up so he can't have felt it really.

Dolly's ill house, get well soon!

It's August, people. How the hell did that happen? Lots of you seem to be off on hols soon. We're planning to go to France end of Aug or start of Sept probably, but I'm also going to Dublin in a few weeks, so that will be an experience, taking DS on a plane on my own.

kiwibella · 02/08/2007 23:31

Blonde... I am addicted to facebook . Jay is there too. You can look for me as Bella Boswell.

Take care Dolly!

Glad you had a great day out Diva.

Callie... you will be fine on the plane. I took Kate to Aus on my own (well, with MissE) when she was about 3 months old.

kittywits · 03/08/2007 09:53

Kiwi, I don't understand facebook. How is it different from friends reunited? Please explain!!

OP posts:
divastrop · 03/08/2007 10:47

kitty-i dont understand it either.have never even looked at it.if its like friends reunited then i wouldnt want to go on there,it would feel like i was going on a dating site

shanks313 · 03/08/2007 11:04

foxcub · 03/08/2007 12:00

Shanks CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!

Wow - a baby due in March - how amazing!

Lemonaid on my local thread has just found out she is due in March too. OMG I know two women with a baby due when Monti is 1!!!

Where has my newborn gone?

Well done Jordi BTW for being such a big strapping boy

Monti had some puree very late last night and slept for nearly 6 hours!!!!! Boobies feel a bit tender as a result but my head feels great

kiwibella · 03/08/2007 12:18

Kitty... it's similar really - just networking. There are lots of cool things to play with though .

Congrats Shanks!! That's fast work . Of course, I'm envious.

I have just found out that a friend who was due in November had her baby on Wednesday - at 25 weeks!!! Bless

divastrop · 03/08/2007 13:26

shanks-congratulations!!!

of course i think people who have babies close together are totally mad

actually, having now done a small age gap for a second time,i would recomend it to anybody,i find it much easier then the 4.5 yersa betwwen dd1 and ds2,and 2.5 years between ds2 and dd2 was a nightmare as well.

bella-is your friends baby ok?25 weeks is tiny.there was a baby who'd been born at 25 weeks in leeds when dd2 was in,he was 15 weeks then and althought he'd been in various hospitals due to breathing prblems,he was a little fighter.

TheBlonde · 03/08/2007 14:26

Shanks - Big congrats!!

muppethasakitten · 03/08/2007 14:59

congrats shanks - will post later
