kittywits · 11/08/2007 18:31

Mossy · 11/08/2007 18:41

Just a quick one as I'm in my friend's house with Bertie on one arm!!! Diva and I had a lovely day in Blackpool the other day, hey there are some gorgeous specimens there I think also it must've been punk rock day or something; there were loads of punks with crazy-paving hair walking around; excellent!!

I can confirm that Diva is not a hairy knuckled trucker and nor am I! I do have a photo but it is on my computer at home so I will post it here when I get back. It's quite funny actually, Elsie is only a month older than Bertie, but Bertie is such a titch you'd think he was a newborn in comparison!!

Anyway love to you all and I will try to get back on here when I get back home, probably not tomorrow as I'm back late on, probably Monday. Hope you're all having good weekends and the weather's as good for you as it is here (I'm in Birmingham).

foxcub · 11/08/2007 18:50

kiwibella · 12/08/2007 18:55

take care Dolly... hope you are feeling better after your rest.

Kitty!!

That is a lovely pic of Diva and Mossy and their wee babes. You two look so chilled. Diva, did you get to see Mossy's wedding dress? Whaddaya think?

What has everyone been up to then??? I have come to hate Sunday's when hubs goes off to cricket... we were going to join him today but it's been raining off and on

foxcub · 12/08/2007 22:51

Love the piccie - you both look super cool

hmm, must get my arse in gear to organise a southern meet up...

Kitty - how is the feeding - has the infection gone yet?

foxcub · 12/08/2007 22:55

Monti came to my bookclub today and had his first ice cream - he liked it so much he cried when it was all gone!

kittywits · 12/08/2007 22:56

Foxy, the ab's cleared it up quickly. The lump took a while to go but is clear now. I'm suprised at how quickly it came on.

Thinking about not renewing my very expensive club/gym membership = £60 a month and buying a kettlebell.
Has anyone heard of them?

OP posts:
foxcub · 12/08/2007 22:59

Mastitis is scary like that isn't it? Just when you think the feeding is going well, a lump appears and bites you on the bum!

I was reading about kettle balls the other day - they're supposed to be very effective.

foxcub · 12/08/2007 22:59

..why not start a kettle ball thread (then I can read it)?

kittywits · 12/08/2007 23:09

I tried, bumped twice, no biters
They seem really good though. I've been investigating today. You can do quick workouts with them, get fitness levels up and look like a female russian shot putter(sp) ?
Right off to bed xx

Oooh you can be the guinea pig perhaps ( a muscley one) - and try it out then report back.

Talking of guinea pigs, DS1 keeps badgering me for a pet hamster/g pig . Are they lots of work?

kittywits · 13/08/2007 10:34

put it this way. I wish I hadn't got the gerbils. The dc's were v. enthusiastic at first then of course, after a while, I have had to do everything for them.
I reckon gp's would take more looking after, going to vets etc and you need more than one.
I wouldn't want to go out and feed and clean it in the middle of winter .

OP posts:
kittywits · 13/08/2007 10:35

hamsters bite!!!!

kittywits · 13/08/2007 10:35

OP posts:
kittywits · 13/08/2007 10:36

Oh go and do some work Kitty

foxcub · 13/08/2007 11:51

Amie - hope you are OK [hugs].

Piffle - that sounds interesting. Which excercises have you been doing. Apart from "pings" [!]

Kitty - I said to DS1 - well you have Monti, why do you need a pet to look after as well? Also, when have you ever taken your Daleks for a walk?"

He looked slightly confused at that
