Nice one R.

Don't you still need a toilet for a she-we?

Juni did I jinx you by saying she'd start sleeping through soon?

I've been up since five. Couldn't get her back to sleep. Knackered.

JuniDD · 04/04/2015 07:41

Heh wil. We had an awesome night that night. I think the early bedtime and a busy day ruined it for us. She hardly fed yesterday Sad

willywallace · 04/04/2015 08:29

Ah phew not my fault then. Discovered this one was covered in pee which was why she couldn't get back to sleep. That'll teach me not to double nappy her.

MrWil appears to be in the mother of all shit moods. No idea why, I imagine he's tired because he only got 6 1/2 straight hours sleep Hmm . I'm sure it will be taken out on me at some point in the not too distant future.

ZylaB · 04/04/2015 08:58

:( wil does he think 6 and a half hours is bad?!

H seems to be getting into a bit of a routine at nights now, she will sleep on us in the evening, but only settle in the cot between midnight and 1am, do 3 hours, have a clean nappy and a feed, go back to bed after 45 mins and do another 2.5 or 3 hours. For her that's ace! Just need to get her to do another 3 hour stretch before that. We're keeping the room dark and quiet to try and stop her getting over stimulated, just hoping it'll work :)

cookielove · 04/04/2015 09:41

So we have moved into my parents, we have a date for completion, the 24th of April, we were hoping to be in by Easter, Sad times.

However Elijah is now in his own room and doing OK ish still not sleeping through.

For those thinking about weaning we have been doing a mix he adores puree and gobbles them up however ff he really is hit and miss. He will always eat a bread stick and organix crisps! Hmm

willywallace · 04/04/2015 09:50

Zyla that's brilliant! She's doing better than MicroWil. She does a mixture of sleeping on us or not sleeping in the evening (although we've managed the carrycot on three random occasions). After feed goes for about four hours and then after another feed does exactly 20 minutes before shuffling about and generally being a pain for the next two hours until I give up and get up. Then of course she's tired and wants to sleep Hmm .

willywallace · 04/04/2015 09:53

And yes zyla. He thinks getting up before nine when not working is torture.

Good news about E being in his own room. Sorry you're not in your house yet but hopefully three weeks will fly by.

Nessalina · 04/04/2015 10:17

That's great Zyla! That's just what J started with, and we just brought forward the going down time but by bit, lead by him just being tired and needing it.
He was ok last night, 7:30pm-7:30, up for half an hour at 1am & 4am. DH got up with him after the 7am feed and Ive only just woken up! ShockShockShock

JuniDD · 04/04/2015 16:50

Haha, wil, MrJ is exactly the same. I don't think you jinxed me, she was just adjusting to going to bed when she was tired. She's been asleep most of the day today now. It's all gone wrong, bloody clocks changing! shakes fist

Need another hooya as she's not rolling or sitting or anything much physical (aside from doing pincer stuff) and I KNOW they all get there in their own time but ARGH! One of my twitter friend's baby is her b/day twin and doing it all.

Nice lie-in Ness!

Juni I could write the book on worrying about this. In fact I'm going to send you a private message as don't want to put it all on here in case someone I know reads it.

willywallace · 04/04/2015 16:58

In fact I'll facebook you as less chance of fucking it up. This app is rubbish sometimes.

JuniDD · 04/04/2015 17:04

Aww, thanks wil. I don't think reading the weaning book is helping as it's all about sitting etc and I'm like...she's WAY off doing that, can I start etc etc head-splody-mess

OP posts:
willywallace · 04/04/2015 18:04

Oh I don't know the answer to that actually Juni. Ask the HV? Pretty sure my friend just chucks her wee one in the bumbo and feeds him there. He can't sit up in a highchair.

JuniDD · 04/04/2015 18:53

Funnily enough, I went on one of my FB parenting groups after posting that and someone had written, and I quote "that sitting independently thing is bullshit" so that has cheered me up!

Why is my baby pooing so much atm? I guess I'd rather have lots of small frequent poos than a daily poonami but it's a bit stinky.

To balance all my moaning, she's awesome and giggles now and I think tries to do kisses. Awwww.

cookielove · 04/04/2015 19:05

juni I use to look after a little boy who couldn't sit in a high chair or on the floor till he was after 1, we still weaned him at 6 months!

E pulled himself to standing in the bath and looked very proud of himself Grin

willywallace · 04/04/2015 21:47

Teeth Juni?

Well done E!

willywallace · 05/04/2015 12:17

Happy Easter! What a gorgeous day!

Pisghetti · 05/04/2015 13:29

Happy Easter Wil Easter Grin do you do eggs on the Sunday or Monday? No chocolate has appeared so far.....

She slept in her cot all night Easter Shock she fed from 11-1, then slept until 4am and went down again until 8am. We're in shock!

TheBooMonster · 05/04/2015 13:36

Happy Easter viroids! Micro managed an hour and a half in her crib last night and once we kicked DH out of bed at 6 she and I slept in the bed till about 11 which was bliss! Though we did have to give DH a bit of a reality check when he tried to claim he was too tired to get up with mini when he woke her up she woke up at 6.

My boobs keep exploding Shock doesn't matter how much she feeds or how often I change the pads I keep ending up with a soaked top and bra, I pumped a load off yesterday, then bottled it which ended up replacing a feed which I'm not sure helped the situation but I'd been hoping DH might take the initiative and give micro the bottle so I could have a nap... In reality mini and I had a half an hour long fight about which of us were feeding micro whilst he played on the computer I'm sure I should have been less surprised by that result than I was

Pisghetti · 05/04/2015 14:38

At what point will I stop needing gas and air to have a poo Easter Angry not helped by the fact this is only my third post-birth I'm sure but fuck me I'd rather push a baby out than go through this!

willywallace · 05/04/2015 15:04

Have you got piles Pis? My arse has been bleeding today.

All you lot with computer playing men need to chuck the computers in the bin. You are so much more tolerant than me.

My roast dinner was too oily. Accidentally put too much on the veggies Angry . I'd love a giant cadbury's egg, damn this dairy free nonsense.

TheBooMonster · 05/04/2015 15:22

pis prune juice is your friend! A third of a pint a day is just enough to keep everything easy

Minion · 05/04/2015 16:47

I found I can poo for England after having R. I was expecting the very worst and stocked up on dried apricots.
Sadly all they did was give me trumps to rival Jim Royle!
Gorgeous day indeed. Tried gardening but baby is velcro right today. Still, can't hold it against her, she did 6:30-2,3-6 last night.
Hoping it may continue however that bastard 4 month regression is lurking around the corner.

Can I ask a Question? Much like my distinct hatred for the Christmas greed people seem to be posting on fb, what the hell is easter presents?
And cards?
Most people don't even know what easter is about, it's just another reason to spend money on gifts.
Someone on here says she was buying get LO stuff she didn't get them at Xmas.

The world has gone stir crazy!

willywallace · 05/04/2015 17:07

I agree Min although my mum did used to get us an Easter present. Usually an item of clothing I think. No idea why. MiniWil got a gingerbread bunny on a stick because she can't have chocolate.

My baby has just created the most unholy smell. I'm scared to open the nappy.
