Aw I'm always jealous of babies' eyelashes! Yeah we only have one poo a day normally - not today though, think we've had about four. But you know what is normal for H and I sometimes think microwil is uncomfy because she needs one. Gaviscon is known for causing constipation.

Hope things are ok Ness.

We had a lovely afternoon at the park Smile . Tomorrow MrWil is out on the piss all day and I have to go to a child's birthday party Sad .

cookielove · 20/03/2015 20:22

Hello all :)

Lol E doesn't have teeth can barely roll and yet is the oldest so odd how they develop so differently!

He can sit by himself so that's some thing!

JuniDD · 20/03/2015 20:52

Ah cookie, DD is the 2nd oldest and can't roll & is toothless! She does lovely smiles though.

I'm feeling terrible tonight. Weird hurty stomach and feeling really sick. Going to go to bed shortly to try to sleep it off. Praying to the gods of baby sleep that she goes through to the wee hours instead of 11.30pm like we had the other night. Confused

I've just fine to bed and E stirred, burped and made a lip smacking noise. Seems to have gone back off, I keep telling myself he is allowed to make noise doesn't mean he's gonna wake up lol! Blush

willywallace · 20/03/2015 23:10

Oh the noises terrify me cookie!!

Hope you feel better soon Juni.

Nessalina · 21/03/2015 04:43

J is a leg-thumper Blush For no good reason, whilst fast asleep, he'll lift up both legs as high as he can and then thump them back down on the Bednest! It actually shakes the whole of our bed, so me & DH wake up, whilst he snoozes peacefully Hmm

ZylaB · 21/03/2015 05:04

H did a fart that shoot her bedside cot thingy earlier! Was funny though! :). She really seems to have got the hang of sleeping in there now, much better!

Tmi time..... I finally stopped bleeding a couple of days ago. Yay. Today I've had SO much pant snot, it looks like proper ewcm, I'd be excited if I was ttc. This had better not mean AF is coming later this month, I'm due lots mor months without it!!

ZylaB · 21/03/2015 05:05

*shook, not shoot stupid ipad

willywallace · 21/03/2015 05:33

I've had a few occasions where I've thought it was coming zyla - pains and slightly red tinged CM but it never has. Maybe it just coincides with when it should be here? I doubt you'll get it with the amount you're feeding. It took a good couple of months after starting weaning for mine to return last time.

She has just puked all over me and the heating is too high so I'm roasting.

ZylaB · 21/03/2015 09:09

Eww, hot sick doesn't sound nice. Poor you Flowers

JuniDD · 21/03/2015 18:40

Hope your day improved wil. I feel you on the hot sick though she projectiled on MrJ today so that was nice...

I'm feeling much better now. Spent the afternoon with my SIL which is always nice, although my nephews are a bit stressful with the baby. At one point DD nearly got a facefull of triceratops...

zyla I"ve been getting weird cramps and pantsnot on and off. It's quite bad atm so wondering if AF is finally returning...I'm quite worried about it and hope I can take the good drugs while bf. Sad

willywallace · 21/03/2015 18:44

Like what juni?

I'm so cracking out the wine tonight.

JuniDD · 21/03/2015 19:20

Like what good drugs? Cocodamol/codeine mainly. Got some precious codeine left from the ERPC.

OP posts:
RPopz · 21/03/2015 19:31

I don't think you can have codeine and bf juni sorry! You can combine paracetamol and ibuprofen though.

DH is upstairs bathing DS... He's screaming blue murder Hmm Haha.

Glass of wine for me too wil. My bf had a ruptured ectopic yesterday... scary shit.

ZylaB · 21/03/2015 19:38

I'm having wine tonight too yay! Row with DH earlier so he's trying to make it up to me, had tea cooked, he bought flowers and wine, I'm in bath and he's bathing H later smug face

juni fx it's not AF!

willywallace · 21/03/2015 19:40

Oh popz that's awful, poor thing. Is she ok? Physically I mean, obviously emotionally not.

You can take codeine but only if you really have to. It passes into bm I think. I had to take it after MiniWil was born but under doctor's advice.

RPopz · 21/03/2015 19:57

She's ok physically - being discharged from hospital this eve. Not sure how she is mentally, she's putting a brave face on it and I don't really want to probe. Only spoken to her by text. She told me she was pg a couple of weeks ago and was saying how she was confused about the dates as she thought she'd had af a couple of weeks before but the digi said 3+ weeks or something. Makes sense now, poor thing.

Nessalina · 21/03/2015 20:54

How awful Popz Sad

I didn't know you couldn't do codeine & BF... I totally have because my migraine tablets are codeine-based. GP didn't mention it, I guess it can't have done him much harm!

I've had just the same thing - epic EWCM with a red tinge to it - I thought it might have been icing? You can still ice when BF can't you? You just don't get the period? That's why they thrust all that protection bumf at you straight after birth!

willywallace · 21/03/2015 21:01

Ooh maybe Ness. Yes you can still ice. Never thought of that.

JuniDD · 21/03/2015 21:09

Yes, I think you still ice without the AF. Maybe that's what's going on here...

While we're using some JS lingo, can I have a hooya? DD just went down without being fed to sleep for the 2nd night in a row and I cried cos she doesn't need me anymore...I know I'm being stupid but I can't help it. Maybe it's just hormones!!

OP posts:
ZylaB · 21/03/2015 21:29

Lol, if you can ice that may explain it, but we all seem to be synchronised!?

popz sorry about your bf. So sad.

juni of course she needs you, you're her mummy and no one else can do that job right for her!

RPopz · 21/03/2015 21:46

I didn't know you could ice when bfing! (Scientist of the year over here... Hmm ). That does explain the contraception obsession!!

Aw, Juni minihooya! She loves you Smile

I've just put minipopz to bed without feeding him to sleep actually. He was well overtired and so when I tried to feed him he was just punching and scratching me and throwing his head about (with my nipple still in his mouth, natch) like a little velociraptor... Shock I wasn't feeling the love either.

Juni what are your feelings on ring slings? At the moment I have the Ergo which is good for dog walking but a mission to get on and too bulky and hot to wear indoors, and a Caboo Close which is just a complete faff. I can't get on with it at all, and I can never seem to get it tight enough and he always slips down in it. I want something quick and easy to get on that I can just whack him in for around the house and summer maybe. A couple of people have recommended a ring sling, but I thought they were hellish complicated.... Thoughts? Am off to the sling library on Thursday, can't wait!!

JuniDD · 21/03/2015 21:57

God popz the frigging punching stage...had one of my worst nights ever with her when she was doing that.

Thanks for hooyas, I'm sure we'll feed to sleep again before the end of bf.

I have a ring sling - girasol herringbone rainbow from love to be natural. They're not complicated as such, just...awkward. I can use it but find I get really stressed and then she gets stressed and everyone's hot and bothered. I need to try again with it though as she's getting much more used to being carried. Sounds like one would be perfect for what you need though and good to have an intro at the library rather than trying at home with youtube vids like me. You might want to try a connecta too for around the house as they are similar in style to an ergo but very light and easy to put on. We borrowed one but DD hated it. A woven wrap is also good for around the house but we're off down the rabbit hole again!

Right, tomorrow I'm going to try the ring sling for a little toddle and report back. Bedtime now. Hugs to you all - just been reading back over old grads threads and it's so weird but also lovely xxx Flowers

willywallace · 21/03/2015 22:59

I think I hate babywearing. Have tried a few carriers and not liked any of them. My back hurts the minute I put one on - it is sore anyway in fairness. Why did DD hate the connecta Juni? That's the last one I was thinking of trying before giving up and getting a double buggy.

That's a good thing if they don't have to feed to sleep. Means you don't always have to do bedtime.

Nessalina · 22/03/2015 02:41

Awww Juni, that made me lol, a little Hooya for you! Grin I get that sometimes when J plays happily with someone else for ages!

Wil I'm with you, I fricking loathe baby wearing! Why would I want to carry 15 pounds of baby, when I can wheel him round in a clever contraption that doesn't hurt my back and also holds all my bags and shopping? Surely buggies were invented to avoid carrying babies?? Grin
I think I'd feel differently if J enjoyed it even a little, but he screams the house down whenever I try him in one - I've officially given up!
