How did the funeral go Mummyhill?

Hi everyone.

SR - Hope the kids feel better soon.

The funeral went very well the vicar kept it nice and simple and did not pretend that he knew nan iyswim. We then went back to the communal room for the warden controlled flats she lived in and had a bite to eat and a lovely chat to relatives and friends, reminiscing (sp). My sister took the baby and had everyone cooing. I sent my two to spend the afternoon with MIL and they had a great time.

I'm glad the day went well, mummyhill. Was thinking of you. I hope you will all be able to enjoy your christmas and that the shopping over the weekend isn't too stressful

Dads birthday today must pop up there for a bit.

DH has been called into work this morning (arghhhhhh) so that leaves this afternoo/evening & tomorrow to shop.

Glad the funeral went well MH - hope the shopping is too xx

If your children would like to track Santas deliveries around the world noradsanta.org is very good it starts at 10am ourtime today and ends around 8am tomorrow morning as santa completes the whole worlds deliveries!!!

Shopping sorted gifts wrapped. Kids both sleeping, presents all under the tree ready for tomorrow morning.

Living room tidy rest of house not so good - do I care - No cause the kids will have a whale of a time scoffing coc for breakfast opening all their gifts, having a bath before going to MIL's for lunch and more gifts.

Boxing day will be at mum's and may be a slight;y more sobber affair but we will make the most of it even though we will be one down.

Have a merry Christmas one and all.

I confess that I am sat here drinking a bottle of red whilst working out if we are ok for the morning iyswim.

Off to potter in the kitchen & sort out things for tomorrow, just wanted to wish you all a merry christmas...

Went to see the Chinese State Circus last night with DH it was great to get away for a few hours minus children, who stayed with my mum.

We are off up to St Hellens on Sunday and am looking forward to seeing my Friend and her children.
