Hello glad you found your friend mollyollymummy

wabbitt · 15/11/2006 13:10

Mummyhill - hellooooo!

SR - with 120million between us i think remembering our MN urchin friends is the least we can do!

Could do with a bit of a win to be honest - the swine (formerly known as exP) has stopped paying even the meagre maintanence he was contributing (la la la la la la la) I'm not going mad with worry, really I'm not

MollyOllyMummy - it's lovely to re-find freind after a long separation, especially when it's a true bond your re-awakening Hope you have a lovely time when you meet

jaamy · 16/11/2006 10:59

Hello all!
Sorry not posted this week, though don't suppose I've been missed!
Up to our elbows in snot here. HOpe no one else is suffering similarly.
Lucky Ball girls, can would have loved to have seen your dresses.
Boo, boo and boo again to your ex-DP, wabbitt, especially with Christmas on its way. Glad DD all better.
Mamama - hope DS is a bit better now. A is suffering worst of all of us with this cold.
ANd well done to your clever little man MH. Enjoy your uninterrupted sleep.
Both of my DDs have been up most nights coughing or so snotty they can't breath. And not easy to cope with when I'm feeling rotten myself.
Take care all

mummyhill · 16/11/2006 11:43

Hi Jaamy you have ben missed as we are getting a little thin on the ground.

Sleep was short lived up all night between D teething and dd falling out of bed.

D had his mmr yesterday and is grotty today.

Simplyred · 16/11/2006 13:12

Hello!

Just got up - dd at my Mums I feel horrid urrr urr urr.

So sorry Wabbitt - hello Jaamy xx

jaamy · 16/11/2006 14:27

Hello again!
Just got up from a nap too SR! DD2 looks a little better for it, DD1 still ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ.
Mummyhill - we have had a couple of reminders for A's MMR but she can't have it til this cold's cleared up. Did they give D that new pneumonacoccal (sp) thingy too?
Off to get myself dosed up again...

mummyhill · 16/11/2006 17:13

D had his PCV last month as I received a letter for that before the one for his mmr.

Wabbitt looking forward to having a good chat whilst eating a lovely meal and drinking a glass of wine daren't have any more than that as I have to drive. I promise to have recent pics of dc and dn. Ohh and if mediation etc doesn't get XP's arse into gear would you like me to send a crew round with baseball bats???????

D has started climbing now and is giving poor mummy and daddy heart faliure.

Hi all - sorry have been away. Am in midst of mahoosive building works - think near the end now but am fed up of having the house full of dust and builders. Also - the way one thing has a knock-on effect and now the rest of the house looks like a bomb has hit it.
Wabbit - am shocked that your ex-p, who is after all so keen to have C on overnight stays and to be a big part of his life, would think that it is a good idea to stop paying maintenance for him. What an arse.
Hope all feeling better in the mamama household.
Tom having his PCV tomorrow. Must get round to booking his MMR. He missed the last appointment for the PCV because he came out in an allergic rash the day before (strawberries) and they had to get the GP's agreement that it is safe to give.
Tom also liberally covered in bruises.
Think he's started to say "down" and "ball". Definitely dada. Not mama unless he is complaining - and then it's "maamaaamaaamaaaaaaaahhh".

mamama · 17/11/2006 03:12

Phew! I think I can safely say that DS is now fully recovered from his bug. Thank goodness!

It's exciting to hear about the new words. DS has learned 'more' this week and, even better, has begun to sign 'Please' - thanks Mummyhill . Actually, I need more of your help on the big issue, sleep. Just how did you manage to get your LO to start sleeping through? I think I need a magic wand! And I'll join you with the baseball bats if Wabbit needs us

Good luck to all those with injections coming up.

Simplyred · 17/11/2006 07:34

Morning

Have fun MH and Wabbitt and enjoy a glass of wine - best of luck with the Euromillions!!!

jaamy · 17/11/2006 10:07

I'm sorry Wabbitt - Baseball bats - too good for him! Needs something more painful that we could drag out...do they still do Door Pressing in parts of Lancashire???
Seriously, though Wabbitt, surely he's offering to buy C's Christmas presents, etc? He couldn't be that miserable? Or will he use that to negotiate an access deal over Christmas. I feel really guilty, as my main worry is how much time I'm gonna have to spend at my in-laws . Hope it doesn't cause you too much stress, Wabbitt.

jaamy · 17/11/2006 10:18

SR - LOL at the nappy campaign!
Mamama, glad all well in your household now.
Still all snotty here - facing our second housebound day. Hate not going out to our usual classes and meet-ups but better than the horrified looks I'd get for daring to bring my poorly children out! Might pop out somewhere relatively deserted (though warm) for a short outing later.
A is saying quite a lot...bobble (bottle), (ba)nana, down, dog, woof woof, duck, daddy, mummy, yum yum, dinner...and will mimic almost anything - can count to 10 with help! Have high hope for her winning a Nobel prize before her 5th birthday !

jaamy · 17/11/2006 18:03

Gosh been quiet in here otday. Always seem to have the tumble weed effect on this thread [paranoia emoticon]. Hope everyone off having lots of fun - good luck with the Euromillions, Wabbitt and MH!

Simplyred · 17/11/2006 18:45

Hello Jaamy! I'm here - I'm sulking! DH is being mean and banning me from watching children in need - as if hes in charge!!! [cackle of witchy laughter emoticon!]

We have raised loads of money and should see our cheque presented - one of my SW mates is going to the studio with the cheque [very proud emoticon]

wabbitt · 17/11/2006 18:50

Ha Ha ha ha ha ha - love your suggestions girls! Nappies in the post would NOT go down well! he's such a ponce he's never changed a nappy without making a huge fuss about the pong, stink, smell, awfulness - actually come to think of it - I think he's only ever changed two dirty nappies that could be described this way.

Baseball bats? I'll answer that when I see you !!!

Door pressing? what's that Jaamy? I'm itching to know! He's not making any effort to be in touch at the moment - no contact with solicitor or the mediation team... this, I presume is him playing 'hardball' as he described my behaviour - I told him I wasn't playing anything!

I'm sure he's witholding funds to try to make me cave in to his demands to have conrad for 3-4 days at a time - don't think there'll be any presents from him this christmas! Not unless he agrees to mediation and that's looking increasingly unlikely (sad for conrad, not me)

Love to everyone - see you tonight MH x

I'll get conrad to 'kiss' the Lottery ticket for luck

jaamy · 17/11/2006 19:27

Yes, very sad for poor little C. Have a fab night out...
Door pressing is how Margaret of Clitheroe, amongst others, died. Lain on one horizontal door and another door put on top with weights added unti the subject gave in to demands or...splat! Form of torture very befitting your XP, methinks! evil
SR - lock DP out and watch CIN! How can he deny that little teddy????

IdrisTheDragon · 17/11/2006 20:16

Hello everyone .

Sorry I don't seem to have been around - find it hard to get a bit of spare time for mumsnetting, esepcially as if DS sees the laptop he asks to do "game" meaning the CBeebies website and Alice just turns it off .

DH is out tonight and the children are in bed so I am here for a little while.

Wabbitt, your ex sounds really stupid. I will happily send him some repulsive nappies.

If anyone's interested, you can see some pictures of me at my ball here . You need to scroll down on the left hand side and they're photos 123, 124 and 125. DH and I are on the left and his brother and wife are on the right.

wabbitt · 18/11/2006 01:46

Wow SR - just seen you friend on SW presenting the £100,000 cheque - well done all of you

Had a lovely night with MH and the West Mids girls MH looked lovely, saw a pic of her niece who looks an absolute poppet

Night night all x

wabbitt · 18/11/2006 01:46

Friend from SW (it's late!)

mummyhill · 18/11/2006 08:54

Morning all.

Jaamy your picks look lovely.

Wabbitt I had a great night it was lovely to see you.

Ohhh I missed SW cheque - fell a sleep at midnight!

Lovely pictures Idris - you look lovely

jaamy · 18/11/2006 15:38

Hello everyone!
MH - think you mean Idris' pics.
Really really really fed up of this cold now. Though it was going but worse than ever today! Might consider door pressing myself!
Sorry SR - missed your friend on CIN - was in bed long before. Well done to all of you!

Simplyred · 18/11/2006 20:58

Hello! Warning warning hormonal rant to follow.....

I've upset one of my closest friends and did not send her dd a card for her 2nd birthday - I'd written it down as this monday rather than last. Feeling awful - I am feeling very down at the moment - feel like a bad mother, bad wife, bad friend, bad daughter, crap business woman - there I've said it I'm rubbish. Feel like my life is one of those circus acts with spinning plates on poles - only all mine are smashing on the floor! and every one is realizing what a sham I am!

mummyhill · 19/11/2006 08:31

Oops sorry meant Idris re the photo's need to get brain in gear.

SR we all make the odd mistake or have a bad day. You are a good mother, wife, daughter, business woman etc etc. You just had an off day be kind to yourself sweetheart and feel free to rant away we are here to share the highs and lows of the emotional rollercoaster that is being a parent.
