Sorry guys - posted the 1000th message without realising Blush, so hopefully you can all find this thread!

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
PenguinArmy · 10/06/2012 23:02

no tues thankfully so hopefully will find a couple of times to run through it, just with DH back at work and having them both opportunities are thin on the ground.

LittlePebble · 11/06/2012 07:15

PA poor DS hope he gets some sleep today so you can practise. And good luck for tomorrow.

em hope your mum is ok, chemo is horrible Sad

We've had no sleep for a few nights not sure why but E has been up loads of times.

Yay for crawling/ standing babies. E pulls himself up to standing on things (we had to drop his cot a while ago as though he might flip out!) and he crawls backwards just hasn't quite figured out how to go forwards yet Wink.

Will go and read thread now I've been skim reading when I had chance but feel like I've missed loads.

ipswichwitch · 11/06/2012 08:01

How's your DS today PA? Good luck for tomorrow.
It's all happening here- major poopage, a tooth, and this mironing N finally rolled over!! Hes been rolling from his front to back for a few weeks thereby thwarting my attempts to give him lots of tummy time (which he thinks is great), but has just rolled from back to front at last, didn't like it but couldn't roll back as he got his arm stuck.

emmazed · 11/06/2012 09:01

Wow ips what a day! They all get there in the end and it doesn't matter when. It is lovely when they learn a new skill tho. J banged two items together yest, and I was so proud (crazy I know!). We are still waiting for a tooth, not looking forward to it, but want to get the pain out of the way.

Good luck for tomo pa hope you get chance to practice today and that ds is ok. So hard when they are ill

CheshireDing · 11/06/2012 14:21

Good luck tomorrow Penguin Hoe you get chance to practice at some point :)

P got her leg stuck through the cot bars yesterday and couldn't get it back so was screaming - it's only because her thighs are so fat gorgeously chubby though Grin I had to really stuff it back through and it was all red, fatty monster.

Emma impressive toy banging together :)

Those of you who have been on a plane with their babies do you just buy a cheap buggy or should I pack up ours and pay for extra luggage/insurance?

MamaMaiasaura · 11/06/2012 14:26

J crawled across lounge Grin and been pulling herself up anywhere she can. Her bro's better watch out lol

MamaMaiasaura · 11/06/2012 14:28

cheshire we bought a maclaren and they stored it on flight (as in actually on board, not hold).

FuzzzyDuckosaurus · 11/06/2012 14:31

cheshire I took my maclaren stroller which was still expensive at over £200 but it was worth having it. Used it right up to the gate then got it back at baggage at destination. I took carrier to use for the looooooong walk to baggage claim. No damage to buggy Smile. Depends what pram you have. A lightweight stroller would do fine. Think you could get a decent one for around £50 then if there is any damage, it's not a big problem. I found it really useful in the airport too. If she wanted out, all hand luggage could be dumped in pram Grin
Mega mega jealous that you are off to Dubai and on the airbus EnvyEnvyEnvyEnvyEnvy

FuzzzyDuckosaurus · 11/06/2012 14:32

Yay for j Grin

lookout · 11/06/2012 15:33

Cheshire i just bought a maclaren from ebay for £60, am quite chuffed Grin plan to use that and the sling for the airport and our holidays. Apparently the Maclaren is very light and idea for travelling, hence the buy.

Hooray for all the crawling, standing, banging and teeth! Still waiting for some progres with food here grrrrrrrr Angry

Engelsmeisje · 11/06/2012 19:28

Grrrrrrrrr. DH has torn his calf muscle so he can barely walk, is off work for a week getting in my way and I'm waiting on him hand and bloody foot. WHY GOD WHY? Grrrrrrrrr.

Sorry for "woe is me post" but I've just had it with being the one who does sodding EVERYTHING round here. GRRRRRRRRRR!

And breathe.

MamaMaiasaura · 11/06/2012 19:53

Oh no Enj Sad hope he's better soon and you have a break.

J got bump on head from crawling exploits already. Dh was in charge so he feels bad

ipswichwitch · 11/06/2012 19:54

lookout we're still waiting for progress on the food front too. M had a settling in session at nursery today, and screamed blue murder when they tried putting him in high chair and feeding him some pasta. They said don't worry they get plenty babies the same!

Ha, engels was gonna say "poor your DH" for the torn muscle, but I think I'll reserve the sympathy for you instead!

PenguinArmy · 11/06/2012 19:59

engels nothing pisses me off more than a injured or ill DH Blush

MamaMaiasaura · 11/06/2012 20:03

PA Grin as soon as dh starts sniffling and sneezing and can feel my self tense. And when he limps cos his gammy knee plays up, I have to really rein myself in Blush

EdwardorEricCantDecide · 11/06/2012 20:23

i'm another who just gets pissed off with "ill or injured" DH he plays things up a bit IMO and therefore i dont have any sympathy for him even when he is ill!

yay for all the babies walking/crawling/banging and teeth.
M has no teeth, isnt crawling or walking yet, she just starts moaning when she is on her tummy. i do think she is one of the youngest on the thread anyway but not to bothered.

CheshireDing · 11/06/2012 20:57

J is well ahead Grin

Why have you all got MacLarens are they really good?

I am soooo sick of listening to DH sneeze and go on about his bloody hay fever, blah blah. Bit mean I have no sympathy but he is sneezing everywhere.

FuzzzyDuckosaurus · 11/06/2012 21:50

Aww, I just went back and looked at all the photos of our babies on the fb group from the start Smile. I want a squishy, newborn again Grin. Can't honestly believe how they have all come on in 7/8 months!!

MamaMaiasaura · 11/06/2012 22:47

I don't think I put a newborn one on there.

My neighbour was due on firday. Got do excited as she had to pop her 2 dc off with me as she had to be "checked". Boo false alarm. I'm so frigging broody tho. I'm not having another, altho I know I'd love to. Had 5 kids for tea and it felt lovely all crammed round the table Smile

MamaMaiasaura · 11/06/2012 22:48

cheshire they are that good they have lifetime guarantee Smile. I got sport one and everso light. Has a strap to fling on shoulder.

CheshireDing · 12/06/2012 03:03

Engels can't he shuffle on the floor so you can go out and he can stay in and play with M? Grin

They seem to have a few MacLaren on ebay so will probably try in a shop first then try and get a Lookout bargain.

Good luck Penguin

Jnice · 12/06/2012 03:04

I'm so crap, fell off the thread again.

PA - good luck tomorrow, and hope DS is all better.

Loving all the newborn photos!

Leo had a couple of miserable days and I was expecting a tooth but nothing came of it and he seemed a but happier today. He had a 90 minute nap this morning and I managed I watch the second half of the England game uninterrupted Smile he usually only naps for 30 mins max so it was a bit of a treat!

Jnice · 12/06/2012 03:06

engels you gave my deepest sympathy. The first thing that goes through my head if DH is sick or injured is 'crap - extra work ' Blush

Jnice · 12/06/2012 06:09

Good grief, Leo just would not got to sleep tonight - gone 10pm and DH just got him into the cot. Teeth again maybe...

LittlePebble · 12/06/2012 07:14

Good luck today PA
Jnice hope you got some sleep
Engels gah! I feel your pain v. frustrating definitely Wine for you x
Loving the newborn picks so cute (making me broody).
Cheshire Envy at Dubai can I come in your suitcase? E also has fat gorgeously chubby thighs and Popeye arms. Grin
I think we must just be out of a wonder week (8 month one a week early) as after a week of grumpy no sleep boy we now have a very chatty happy boy but he's different. He looked at DP this morning and said Dada and was definitely trying to talk to him, he gives me a slobber kiss if I ask for one, and he seems to be able to do more (like you Em feel stupidly proud when he does something new Blush)
All very exciting but definitely had a "where did my baby go" moment this morning, mama totally understand why you have three wish I'd started this baby malarkey a few years ago
