Aah deb our little chipolata's, I like that :) Yes shame you're not nearer as I'm sure I'd be very helpful getting rid of a few spare cupcakes for you - as a favour of course Wink

wigs yay for Mr W being off for 8 days, am pleased for you, about time too! The first time we took dd to Asda when she ws a few days old a horrible rough woman said "ooh look at the baby" and reached out her grubby hand to touch her, I rushed away with the pram and told dp we would only be shopping at Sainbo's from now on Grin haha I'm such a snob.

Thanks for letting me moan, dd having a snooze so might do something useful , might not...

Hiya, not caught up because still out but wanted to pop on and share my joy that R's eye is fine - apparently she just has a big bridge of her nose! They were more concerned with some eyelashes that point upwards.

Thank you all for your good wishes last night and this morning!

Hi ladies, happy new thread!

C is now in 6-9 mo clothes, but she stayed in newborn for ages, and in 0-3 months for ages, and then 3-6 mo she went into at about 4.5 mo and then seems to have grown out of really quickly. I think it's length mainly, she's quite slender (don't know where she gets that from), so her tummy/bum fit into smaller things but the length is always wrong.

reastie C weighs about 14.5-15lb ish. Boooooooo for you getting nasty AF!

We've had a strange weekend, as you remember, Friday a bit poorly at nursery, Fri pm trip to docs, good apt, Saturday, she was fab, had all bottles/food etc. a bit of dioralyte (but was less worried as she was drinking), and generally sunny chatty baby all day. Then Sunday more poorly than ever (couldn't even keep water down, vommed all over me in Cafe Nero, down bra and everything), then today, OKish, but a bit tired, but had loads of milk & dioralyte, and no vom yet. Am trying to not panic, keep giving fluids, etc. but hope this gets better soon!

Anyway, that's an update on the poorly PFB situation. Just hoping today is a 'good day' for her sake.

Dx

Deliaskis sure all is fine with C, but if she vomits up the dioralyte, then won't keep anymore down, give GP a ring again. A's very long too, all her bottoms are "cutoffs" or pedal pushers as my mother says, even the ones that aren't supposed to be Grin

chocoroo great news x

ILovePonyo surely you mean Waitrose! Its our anniversary next week so might even push the boat out and head to the cinema Shock

debka yummy buns Grin

choc Grin for apt

ponyo anya is a little tiddly wink isn't she Grin . I was under the impression alice was a small 'un for the thread but it seems I'm wrong Wink . She is, however, too tiddly to reach the ground on the lowest setting of her baby walker so she doesn't get anywhere one it Wink she must be a shortie but chubby as all her 3 - 6 trousers are still too long Hmm She's on 25th centile btw. deb I love the idea of chipolata

delia hope c is better soon - is she at nursery or are you cuddling at home?

God, its as well we can't all go to each others houses for wine/vodka/beer coffee, Anna would probably squish everyone Grin, reastie funny enough we had to put Annas walker up to the highest setting yesterday and she has still managed whizz away.

Jane cuddles my arse Grin, hmmm just realised how some with a dirty mind might read that, but you know what I mean Wink

hubbard if you're reading, was Fs christening this weekend?, hope all went well.

reastie I forgot, I have to ask you a cooking question Grin - I've bought some of those frozen fruits (raspberry and grapes), can I defrost them, puree them and then re-freeze or should I not do that? Cheers my dear :) And yes A is a tiddlepop but quite long I think?

wiggles I lurve Waitrose Grin How many years anniversary?

delia poor you and C, hope you're not too worried (I say that b'cos I know I would be, even though she prob is fine)

choco really pleased for you, bet thats a relief.

Better go, dd is being whingy and keeps rolling to where she shouldn't be Hmm

erm ponyo it's my belief that so long as you cook it after it's defrosted and before it's refrozen it's OK (hope that makes sense)

"alright?"
Been a bit busy bee with dgs birthday, his little face when we sang and he had his cake was priceless,Ella went to Pepper pig land yesterday with ds and dil and dgs.I was in a right state when they werent back by 9,put me off me Fred West thingy.I know the brief and the copper btw.

Dilly is well and truly crawling now,she was terrorising all the other babies today who are still lying down, she made one cry just by going too close to her face and then giggled like mad when she cried. She also loved the singing and did "row the boat" all the way home in her buggy.

Thanks for buggering off and leaving me btw,ive been playing havoc on a few threads Grin

Well started me sw today after much planning.I had weetabix then lovley home made chunky veg soup fopr lunch and having a nice chicken thing for tea from the sw recipe book.I have to admit to not shredding as had 2 baby groups but walked to all of them so about 4 miles so feel angelic.
Will shred tomorrow.
Ella was back at school looking all sweet in her shiney patent shoes,my friend is her teacher this year so shes on her best behaviour.

choc good news about R.Ella had dodgy eyelashes.
wiggs enjoy dh.
Im actually glad mine has gone back to work.He was atwunt yesterday, watched tv all morning whilst i did everything even washed the floors. He fed dilly her luch but returned to the tv between moutfulls, then when it was time to leave the house did his usual diappearing act.I asked him if he could have done what he needed to do during tv time and not when we were all in the car,he then shouted and kicked the bin which fel over all over my clean floor Shock I took Dilly and stormed off and did the shopping with great difficulty with her sat in the trolley but leaning over all the time.I came back and chucked it on the floor and took Dilly up to my room for the afternoon. He did loads of housework but i havent even spoken to him,am not cooking dinner tonight either

Report
Deliaskis · 05/09/2011 16:43

L I don't think so, this seems to be the bug that she picked up last week. She's really been fine with reflux for a month or so now, I was thinking of starting to wind down the ranitidine. How's D?

Hi folks...was thinking today I Need to start a new thread but see debka sorted it all out so ta much debka!

Had Nate weighed today...he's 18lb 8oz Shock...he sounds like a wee heifer compared the other bubbas on this thread, but he too is long/lanky!

I gave him Toast today too...he wasn't too sure about it. The AK chicken casserole he loved however (thank god...was beginning to think the pureeing lark was a waste of time) . But now have beef casserole on in the slow cooker so hoping he likes that!

Yup...seems like a poo with every nappy at the mo compared to 1 a day previously...weetabix watermelon & chunks of carrot have so far been evident in the nappies (yuk!).

Welcome back ledkr, we'll have to get you some reins to stop you causing trouble when you wander off Wink I didn't know there was a peppa pig land Shock hope E enjoyed it! Love doing row the boat with B, it's good fun. Grin at D following in her mums footsteps causing trouble now she's mobile. Hope things get better with DH, why do they behave like this???

Okay, im going to go and get Ben weighed wednesday morning now as all this talk of weight has made me wonder. I'm guessing he's a good 22lbs at least now, and he's not that tall and lanky. He showed me up today by pulling a little boys hair at pnd group reunion, I only turned my back for 2 seconds Blush.

Good news choc, what does the eyelash thing mean? Probably being really stupid but they're meant to stick up arent they?

wiggles my oh has the week off too, it's such a relief to know I have another adult in the house (sort of) to talk to.

Sore throat getting better, only 3 ulcers left now, yuk....

Oh ledkr have you spoken to the brief and copper about their views on the programme? I'd like to know if it's a fair representation of what happened iykwim.

Hello, bank holiday here so dh is in the garden watering his veg while A & E watch Dora. He's flying to Arizona tomorrow for a few days so I'll make the most. S is in a very grumpy mood though which is most unlike him.

Memory like a sieve so can't remember much. Hope R's appointment goes well and rude people in Asda crawl back under their rocks. Alice's weight is fine, Anna was always dinky. Have you tried hummous on toast? S is a fan.

Ive been watching the 'appropriate adult' this afo while alice naps on me . It's riveting in a I want to turn off but can't help watch way. Tbh I don't know that much about the case as I wasn't that old when it happened and I think my mum tried a bit to hide what happened incase I got upset [sensitive mother]. ledkr Im interested in needtos question too, oh and Shock at annoying pg colleague being there.

granny which AK chicken recipe was it? Might have to try that one. We have semi sucess on the solids - she seems to like the organix tomato things.

Hm reastie I am still a bit confused sorry to be thick, if I defrost, puree then re-freeze I'll still have to de frost it again - will that be ok? I missed the appropriate adult, might see if its on sky anytime.

ledkr hello :) and a big Hmm to your dh, I still have to tell to stop buggering off and checking his email when feeding A, yes feeding a baby can be boring but get on with it! Dilly sounds so cute and like she's coming on in leaps and bounds.

grannyapple dd likes the AK chicken and peas and basil, is that the same one? Have made a shed load of the lentil one today so she'd better like that too Grin

tadj enjoy the bank hols :)

wiggles we got a Waitrose a year ago? Maybe a bit more, I do like having a little potter around for the sake of it whenever I'm in town Grin Congrats on the 13 years, that is impressive, hope you get a nice pressie! (Or at least a night out together as planned)

dd was so so tired so went to bed earlier, I don't think it'll impact on her early morning wake up, will prob be 6.15 again Hmm I remember when she slept in til 7.45 not so long ago...
