Totally's PostGrads- you know who you are II

Totally's original thread was for TTC after MC. It continued long after Totally herself graduated, and is still going strong. Totally's grads was set up as a thread for pregnancy post MC - i.e. anyone who graduated from Totally's thread and anyone else who had experienced MC and was now pregnant. It, too, is still going strong.

Now, more and more of us have graduated from Totally's grads - including LouiseSH, whose Georgie was born asleep. I suppose that makes us postgrads. We have travelled together for a long time and would like to stay in touch, but the pregnancy post MC thread is starting to get very big, and I think it should be allowed to keep its focus on pregnancy post MC. May it be as wonderful a place for support for current "members" as it was for us.

So this thread is a place for us to keep in touch, share experiences, and provide support.

Hope all are well??
Had a few testing days here!!!! Wed had scan & consultant appt all fine. Thursday I got myself in to a state panicking about what I thought was reduced fetal movements came in was monitored & of course by that time GILS wriggling like a worm!!!
Friday attended day unit for my bp, anaesthetic assessment, steriod injection, trace & bloods all fine. Had a nice day with my friend she went home at 3 pm & by 7 pm I had leakage!!!! Wasn t sure if my waters had broke so by 8 pm I was back at the hospital on the tracer. All fine was examined cx not dilated & no further leakage ; so waters not broken!!!
However, they admitted me so I m still in now. The care has been excellant I ve had my 2 nd injection & had the tracer on twice a day. Awaiting Drs review this am then hopefully I can go home. Returning tomorrow am for a repeat trace. Feel reassured now & want to go home for some sleep & sort my stuff out.
Oh & to see my DH & cat!!!
So I ve had a word with GILS shes staying put to Tuesday am as they were waiting to do an emergency section if my waters had broken.
It's all go here!!! At this rate come Tuesday I ll be a basket case!!!!

Oh wow AngelGeorgie that sounds like way too eventful! Hopefully this isn't a sign of things to come - GILS is already being a little drama queen :) I guess you're home now, get whatever rest you can, less then two days to go! Glad they're taking good care of you. Ah, can't wait till Tuesday!

Hi all. We were discharged home yesterday. Phoebe great ; feeding hit & miss at present. 6 feeds last night!!! Went for our first walk today , used her pram for first time. Lovely lunch including ; cider mmm...,then chilling. Was great , the weather everything. Just , unfortunately, an under- lying feeling of sadness that all this should have happened last year.

However, Phoebe is totally & utterly gorgeous & I totally love het. Love to all xxxxxxx

Glad you're home and getting to do all these things properly. I'm so sorry that it is a year late, but enjoy these moments whilst taking the time to remember Georgie.

Good luck with the feeding, stick at it, and don't be tempted to cut back... it is the constant-ness in the early days that make it so easy later on.

Oh my what wonderful news! Was just thinking how overdue I was to check in, wondering especially about news from you, lou. I'm so happy for you and dh! Congratulations just doesn't say it all. You definitely should have been doing it all a year ago, but then again, you wouldn't be doing it all now with your sweet Phoebe Grace. Your angel Georgie will be looking down on her family with love. So very very happy for you!
