Good Morning Ladies.

HKZ had a bit of a laugh at "...as MW had her hand up my fanjo cheerfully telling me 'Can you feel that? I'm pushing your baby's head in and out of the pelvis.." Oh the joys of it all. I feel for you Darling. I hope you did dance. Grin

Tea Yeah for DS sleeping through the night. There will always be those nights, but relax girl, its on the go. Grin

Off for a swim today as DH plays hockey.

Ciao for now ladies.

PatTheHammer · 17/01/2011 17:57

Oh crap.....................nearly missed a baby there didn't I Blush

It's ok, I'm here you can start now!

Lenni · 17/01/2011 19:41

Oh HKZ, don't worry, it'll happen. Actually you sound just like I felt before both of mine arrived, in that hormonal low. Last night was obviously doing something, just think that's a big chunk of contractions out of the way now, less to deal with when it really hots up.

120 · 17/01/2011 21:38

Evening all. Just popping in quickly as things continue apace here! HZ, maybe you can do the acupuncture or have you tried that already? Encourage it out before Friday? Maybe you are subconciously holding it in until after J's big day? Really feel for you, hated, hated, hated the last week. Been thinking about it a lot today, naturally!

Hopefully will have a chance to catch up a bit tomorrow as in the office all day bored.

GotArt · 17/01/2011 21:52

No sign of HKZ since 4.30... Hmm.

hackneyzoo · 17/01/2011 22:02

Still here! Still very much pregnant!

OP posts:
EachPeachPearMum · 17/01/2011 22:05

eek at 'can you feel that'... as if you couldn't feel a fraeking hand up your fanjo!

Sorry you're still pg HKZ IYSWIM. Which day is J's bday?

DD asked me a little agrievedly why DS's bday was before hers? Don't think she appreciated my explanation involving years as well as day/month...

120 · 17/01/2011 22:09

Oh and quick newsflash.. DS did his first non-nappy poo.. straight into the loo! Couldn't believe it. Twas one of those dreaded bath moments when they shout POOoooooo! Quick thinking DP put him in the right spot and he delivered like a pro. Very proud mummy moment. We actually clapped Blush.

missjackson · 17/01/2011 22:40

HELLOOOOOOOOO!

Just checking in to mark my place and of course see how hkz is doing... poor you, hope it all happens tonight. Fingers crossed.

We got back on Friday night - feel horribly depressed to be back to real life but here we are so I had better get on with it. Dying to catch up with the thread properly but there is too much to read. Have been following most news on fb anyway.

MASSIVE WAVES TO EVERYONE!

Less than 8 weeks to go for me, but I am thinking 10.

We had the most wonderful time - it was such an adventure, and so brilliant to see N enjoy so many new experiences and have so much fun. Heavenly.

Hope you are all well. Will attempt to read back now... can't sleep and am trying not to devour all of N's xmas chocolate.

GotArt · 18/01/2011 02:59

MissJ Hello back at ya! Too much to catch up on, just carry on like you weren't gone. Wink 10 weeks! Gracious, that's it? Alright, we start counting down as soon as HKZ's makes their appearance. I've still got till May. All the excitement. Loving it.

HKZ Just a big Grin for ya.

120 Yeah for poo on the loo!

We got the condo! Grin We can start moving asap. Yeah! Feels great to have life moving forward.

Have a fabulous Tuesday Ladies.

Teaandcakeplease · 18/01/2011 07:35

Miss J helloooo back, lovely to hear your dulcit tones on the thread again Wink Your pics did look amazing on fb Envy

GotArt - Fantastic about the condo Smile Smile Smile

Great news about the poo on the loo 120 he might just do it again for more praise Wink I would've clapped too.

Little dude napped in his bed yesterday brilliantly and slept again for the third night in a row in his bed so great. I'm starting to wonder when something will go wrong as he's doing so well and not getting up in the night at all. In fact he hasn't come out of his room when he's woken either, he just chatters until I go and get him Shock

hackneyzoo · 18/01/2011 09:44

Gotart that's great news! (Is a condo the same as a flat?[dim emoticon] It sounds a bit rude Grin) Bye bye UG, we shall miss the stories of your unhingedness!

MissJ....only 8 weeks....woop woop! Getting exciting now....I seem to remeber your baby is due on my birthday, I hope she's punctual as a new baby would make a rather nice present, especially one that's on time Grin

Nothing happening here, off to the Sally Army Playgroup which is the most chaotic playgroup ever, but actually quite a laugh, would make a good documentary, full of a mix of yummy boden mummies, hackney die hards, a few hippy types, lots of CMs and the odd granny thrown in for good measure with a spattering of Dads Grin Now which pigeon hile do I fit in? Hmm

Oh, and no baby by the way!

Went 2 sing and sign
Mum here till aft
Dd2s bday tom excited

Had 2 fillings at dentist yest horrid

GotArt · 18/01/2011 16:06

A flat is an apartment here... A condo is something you buy, although people buy them and then rent them out, which is what this is. A condo is better built, concrete between units and serious sound proofing of floors and just overall, nicer. This place is extra nice cause it is brand new, no one has lived in it yet. Its dark hardwood floors as well so we just need to pick up an area carpet... much better than the wall to wall shite carpet we have here. DH's sinus' will clear up now I'm sure. He's had allergies since moving in. We also won't have the mold to deal with; UG is delusional about the mold problem he has in this house, telling me that it must be food spilled... what, like I spill food all over my windows and down behind the fridge and in the back room. Hmm I'm such a messy cow.

GotArt · 18/01/2011 16:06

I was popping in for HKZ news... off to gym now. Back later. Grin

120 · 18/01/2011 19:53

Lots of news! Wow, welcome back Miss J, sounds like you had an amazing time! Feels like your pregnancy has just flown by. Am immensely jealous of you pregnant people but am working on DP..

Amazing news of the condo GA, just what you need to get some peace of mind. Lol at you putting food on the windows.

Tea, congrats to the little one on his sleep habits, and long may it continue.

Tink, hope your jaw doesn't ache too much, can't abide fillings and have far too many!

..HE DID IT AGAIN TONIGHT... can't quite believe it. He said 'need to do a poo'. So I very calmly said, would you like to do it on the toilet? He said 'yes, nappy off. Want to see my poo'. And cool as a cucumber, repeated the performance, then hopped off and had a look before saying 'flush it'. If you only knew what we went through with DD.. OMG. Can't quite believe it! Wasn't planning to potty train until summer, so am a bit flummoxed now. Do I just continue with nappies for the wee? How on earth do you tuck their penis in when they are sitting on the loo - if I hold him any further back he will fall in, and is happy just perched at the front of the big seat so don't want to start mucking about with the plastic kids seats on top. Any advice very welcome (unprepared mummy here as I was planning to wait until he was four if necessary!).

Teaandcakeplease · 18/01/2011 20:00

Oh wow 120! That's so great. I still have the family toilet seat on my loo with the little seat firmly attached so it doesn't move about. So I'll probably use that but I'm also worried about what do as well, so I shall read with interest. What a clever little man! If it was me, I'd probably move to pull ups and pop him on the loo whenever he asks for now and praise him lots. But what would I know? Confused So impressed though, what a little dude Smile

120 · 18/01/2011 20:34

Sounds good tea. will get pull ups and some big boy pants! Don't want to make a big deal of it as he seems to think it is just the way it is as that's what DD does. Am most excited that I won't be scraping poo out of pants come summer. With DD I just took a pair of scissors along and hacked them off!

treedelivery · 18/01/2011 21:33

Am snowed under, with work and girls. Wanted to pop in and say great news to so many, and happy birthday to all the babies. I'll be back soon. Smile

PatTheHammer · 18/01/2011 22:15

I can sympathise Tree, just finished my work for the night after a long day and a long and yawnsome department meeting.

Just watched OBEM whilst marking my year 7 books and was feeling some good vines for HKZ that it would be tonight..............so???Grin

Also, how bloody gorgeous was that girl who had the water-birth, bitchWink!

Welcome back to MissJ and great news for GotartSmile

Great guns on the poo-in-the-loo too 120, cannot wait for that to commence, I am well and truly sick of Z's nappies. He still does A LOT of poo everyday, at least two at home and two at nursery most days. What a poo-bag he isGrin

Waves to all, no real news here except my sister has another scan on thurs to investigate the extra sac, so fingers crossed for twins!

PatTheHammer · 18/01/2011 22:16

vibes vines????wtf? Are you giving birth in the jungle?Blush

GotArt · 19/01/2011 02:06

stripeywoollenhat · 19/01/2011 12:25

oh hkz, that's just shite. hope it goes as fast as it came. feeling pretty crud here too, just exhausted. but we have c's dad and parents here, and his parents are just a pain, so it's probably just stress... actually, they aren't here right now, they've taken c out - she really likes them, which is the main thing, i suppose. and they are goign home this afternoon. phew.

woohoo, 120, feb. i'm also very keen now to move on from nappies, but no sign here yet. she does now ask to look at the poo in her nappies ("see the poo, see the poo") but will not sit on a potty even in jest...

gotart, excellent news about condo. nothing quite as bad as having to live in the vicinity of someone you don't really like.

welcome back missj Smile
hope things calm down for you soon, tree.

well, we have a two year old! a sickish one, admittedly, but still. i made her gingerbread goats, in honour of her capricorn-ness Smile she now has an overwhelming number of new toys and clothes...
