fab, 120, i mean, fab.

How exciting Stripey! Happy Birthdy to her from us. Am loving the gingerbread goats. There is something very strange, but right about the idea of gingerbread goats!

Just went for a second viewing of our new house today. Am very excited! It was both smaller and bigger than I remember it. Very odd. I think it's because the new flat is bigger than our old flat, so my perspective of room sizes has change. Wierd. All feeling a bit more real now!

tinksbabyis2 · 19/01/2011 15:23

Bracken hvng a great 2nd bday

Teaandcakeplease · 19/01/2011 16:45

Ahh happy birthday Bracken Smile

GotArt · 19/01/2011 18:35

Gingerbread goats. What a great idea.

HKZ Sorry about the cold. That sucks.

More happy birthdays all around.

PatTheHammer · 19/01/2011 19:15

Oooh, a cold is an excellent sign that something is about to kick off.............I think! Bummer though, I remember being really bunged up when I went into labour with Z and worrying about my breathing. I must have gone away during the active stage, or I just forgot as I something else to worry about!

120- House stuff sounds good.

Happy Birthdays to C and B. I still have not posted photo of Z'z cake how very slack of me, will attempt tomorrow as off to aqua aerobics now, check me out!

Teaandcakeplease · 19/01/2011 19:49

I'm completely confused for some reason, I thought C's birthday was at the weekend, but happy birthday cute girl as well x Blush Love the pics on fb.

Pat I'm in awe of your continued motivation to keep fit.

120...looking forward to checking out the house and the flat. Good news on the poo front!

Stripey...I have cake envy, just looked at your FB pics and cakes look amazing. C looks gorgeous in her birthday PJs too.

Dog, I would bloody love some G&A right now. Got all excited the other night when the MW bought it round, but she took it away again as I wasn't in active labour. How far over did you go with Smiler?

Happy birthday B!

Pat its good to know your cold didn't hamper your labour efforts. I have loafed around in bed all day and feel much better for it.
Get you with your aqua aerobics... can't wait to get fit again.
Want to see cake pics. Have just baked 3 loaf cakes to attempt to make a train for J....doesn't look quite right though.

Am booked in for induction tomorrow as will be 40+11. Am going to go for appt. and ask them to monitor me as am not 42 weeks yet, as long as the baby is ok and the placenta is doing it's thing then I will wait it out a bit longer. If labour hasn't kicked off naturally by Monday then will go in for induction then, hopefully they will agree to that.

Anyone got any happy induction stories? All the ones I keep seeing on MN are horrendous Confused

Dog, like the idea of 30 minute labour. Very civilised. I'm 40+10 today according to the dating scan, 40+7 according to LMP dates so Confused

EPPM Knew that a streaming cold must be a benevolent sign Grin

Train cake is kind of looking better... think I need to purchase some mini rolls for added authenticity...although DH just said it looks like a boat Hmm Maybe I should sculpt it into a goat cake and freak dog out Grin

Not sure dog, will see what they say tomorrow.
Baby is moving and all that, so hoping they will just check me over tomorrow and I can go back on Monday if nothing happens between now and then.

Ooo lovely pic HKZ Wink

The power of mumsnet, one desperate thread begun by Riven this morning and now she'll be headline news tomorrow: www.mumsnet.com/Talk/_chat/1129157-have-asked-ss-to-take-dd-into-care/AllOnOnePage#site-wide_281 Amazing. Hope she gets the help she needs now.

GotArt · 19/01/2011 22:36

Ahhhh...lol It took me a moment to fixate that the goat wasn't being cuddled by a giraffe. Grin My goodness I need a nap.

Um, induction stories... we took the ferry to Vancouver, went to Ikea, ate a veg sandwich at Subway...ick, unloaded the furniture and had a spicy curry. By then I realized I was in labour, or at least that it wasn't BH. lol. 3 hours of labours... although it was probably more like 5, I just didn't think I was cause she was 3 weeks early.

UG was pissy this morning, fighting with GF about what, I don't know. Just found out in an email from him as they were having a carpet cleaner around and he'd emailed me last night after 11pm to say they were coming at 7.30am. We weren't even up at 7.30, laying in bed with DD and her quiet morning singing and I don't check my email late at night and am usually in bed about 10pm so come on! He also let it slide that they reschedule from last Wed cause it snowed so much, so he's known for a week. Hmm I could hear them having words but I can only guess it was about my lack of moving the car. Whatever. Someone upstairs was vacuuming at 8pm last night, so they could've phone/text the message about the cleaner.

Was at chiropractor this morning and next visit we are going to discuss how to get more sleep and how to determine how much sleep I need. I laughed and said I reckon it would start with NOT having a toddler in the house... how am I to get 2 weeks of uninterrupted sleep to see how many uninterrupted hours a night I need. Hmm DH looked at me, probably waiting to hear that he wasn't going to be getting any at all. Poor thing. Well, I figure I'll get lots of sleep when I'm dead and compressed into a diamond. Grin

Well at the hospital.if I am induced today I am still low risk and can use midwife led unit and pool etc. If I wait until Monday then it is continuous monitoring on delivery ward. I have soft cervix but still posterior and not dilated . So not sure whether to hang on or just go with induction today. Am Confused

stripeywoollenhat · 20/01/2011 10:51

dog, my gingerbread goats had blue sugar stars for eyes. looked odd, tasted nice...

knackered here today, c woke up at 3am and went back to sleep at 8am Hmm she's just up, with a rash on her cheeks... oh well, at least c's dad's parents are gone and we don't have to see them again till the summer.

hope they are okay with delaying induction hkz (actually hope lo decides to arrive before you even have to discuss it)

stripeywoollenhat · 20/01/2011 10:55

x-posted, hkz. were you past due date last time out? that is a conundrum, but maybe going today is more likely to result i nthe kind of birth you want?

hackneyzoo · 20/01/2011 11:28

That's what I'm thinking stripey! Am going to go with induction they will give me first dose and I can go home and wait. If nothing happens I'll come back in tomorrow.
Hope you get to catch up on your sleep c must be on a cake and birthday high. Mmm cake
