Woweeee to potty training! Preen away 120, it's nice to have pride in the dcs. Why not? It's good motivation, I think.

When is your night out tea?

I guess GotArt is all moved now, hope it's 'home' GotArt.

No news here, just the usual stuff. Dd2 is putting 2 words together 'no bot-bots' and no bed' Grin

Teaandcakeplease · 01/02/2011 19:02

See you all later

treedelivery · 01/02/2011 19:20

Have a good night out Tea! Report back in the morning!

Evening everyone else, 'tis very quiet on here.

Well I managed my first outing with just me and 3 DCs Shock It was only up the road to playgroup, but actually, somehow managed it without a pushchair. DS got a scooter for his birthday and is pretty nifty on it so hoping to be able to manage without having to faff around with a buggy board (I always end up stubbing my toes on them and generally tripping over and looking like a clumsy oaf)

DD2 is doing well, she seems to posset (is that the right word for throw up in baby language?) after every feed so there have been many changes of clothes. Is this normal? Neither DD1 or Ds did this. She seems ok though and has regained birth weight + and doesn't seem in discomfort...
Gave her her first bath today too, she wasn't impressed.

Jude has GOSH appointment with a new specialist tomorrow at the Vascular Anomolies clinic...so maybe some light will be shed.

Am drowning in washing...new resolution is to buy a lot less clothes for the DCs in order to avoid drowning under laundry....or have an everyone naked in the house rule Grin

Got visitors left right and centre for the rest of the week...which is all good...especially when they bring cake.

Hi HKZ. Big good luck for tomorrow, wonder if they will have wisdom for you?

Wqell done on the 3dc outing!!

GotArt · 02/02/2011 01:33

HKZ Nice on your playdate outing. Going naked around the house is a great idea. lol. H will love the bath soon enough. Good luck with clinic.

Tea hope night out was good.

Tink great on the bed.

We are all moved and sorted... well, enough to say that we live here and not out of boxes. Desperately need a dresser for us, or DD, which ever we see first as DD would just get our old one for now. And a book shelf! Good grief, where did all the books come from! And some area carpets. Its fun to shop properly for home stuff. In the past we've just settled because we've never really settled down before. We have got to get the TV back up on the wall because DD is staring and sitting so close to it. She is just fascinated by it. The place is lovely and quiet. We can hear people in the hallway but not between the flats. Once we get cleaned up and stuff, I'll post some pictures. I feel like I could sleep for 12 hours or have a couple of beers! Grin Must sort something for dinner. Ciao for now.

hackneyzoo · 02/02/2011 05:57

Congratulations ga! Can't believe it has all happened so quickly. Am impressed at your unpacking. We moved back 3 years ago and there are still boxes !

I have a confession... we had cereal for dinner. Blush

Teaandcakeplease · 02/02/2011 09:16

1 glass of wine and 2 glasses of coke. Clearly I live the high life Wink In fact I didn't buy one drink last night, 3 different people offered to buy me a drink who are old friends and wouldn't hear of me buying one back. Lucky lady I feel.

I feel cereal is perfectly acceptable when you've just moved my lovely Smile

HKZ - my DS posseted a lot. She looks gorgeous on fb.

Tree - you made me laugh a lot with your fretting post Grin Sat and giggled about it when I lurked last night quickly when I got home.

120 · 02/02/2011 11:45

Morning all. Tea, glad you had a good night out and didn't lose your keys.

GA, I love cereal for dinner. I'm still giving mine reheated frozen pies with frozen peas for supper as ostensibly our cooking gear is still packed and that's three weeks on! Gotta love Asda. Glad that the move went well anyway and can't wait to see some photos of the new pad. I'm still trying to lure HZ to come and see ours but she's gone and had a baby in the meantime. Most annoying Wink.

treedelivery · 02/02/2011 13:14

Wow GotArt. It took us years months to unpack. I am impressed. Am also very impressed at the cereal, it was pizza and chinese take aways all the way for us!!

Tea - yep, good to see you were home with no key/purse loss and no hangover. Respect! Did you enjoy and have a good chin wag? Do hope so.

Today I have dh home. He took a day holiday to join me in a meeting at school with head regarding dd's poo worries. Oh man I could so get used to some help in the morning. It was so nice to have someone just to help bring the washing down in the morning [we always have a pile of mugs, bottles, drinks, plates to bring down Blush] and someone to herd dd2 along into the car and so on. Can't get used to it, but would really like too. Oh well.

He has big bad tonsilitis though, so has fallen asleep somewhere. DD2 is zonked after playschool, and I also ought to clean or sleep. Those two things being the main priorities in life. Am mning instead Grin

Quiet day here

120 · 02/02/2011 14:05

Hi tink and tree.

Tree glad to hear you've had a morning help day. Those are sooo nice. Lull you into falsely thinking child rearing can be relaxed.

I've just made two vats of morrocan lentil soup and sweet potato and coriander soup. That's DP's lunch sorted for the next week!

120 · 02/02/2011 14:58

I had the best conversation with H this week:

'mummy I got vulva'
'no you haven't, you have a penis because you are a boy'
'I not boy. I girl'
'Erm, no you're not'
'I girl. My vulva is here' (points at wrist) Hmm

GotArt · 03/02/2011 00:12

Shameful mummy moment. Yesterday I had keys cut for DH. Put them down, did some stuff, and about 3 hours later realized they were no where to be found. Thought for sure DD hid them, as she was sort of helping look for them. She knew what I was looking for. Went to have them cut again today, picked up some bread and bananas too, and as I was moving the oranges in the fruit bowl to put the bananas in, jingle jingle, there were the keys. Blush So much for putting them down 'safe'.

tinksbabyis2 · 03/02/2011 13:34
