Yeah I've heard about dairy, little H bomb was better once Tree came off it too.

I'm just not sure about other stuff, my mum always insisted anything that gives you wind will also give your baby wind i.e. Brocolli, chilli, baked beans etc. And that I mustn't eat all sorts of things. That's where people like TikTok start disagreeing. Anyway I think I'm just confusing things now Grin Biscuit

evening all. Met the lovely Hebe today and she is super cute! Lovely to see you all family HZ and hope we can do a play date one Friday.

I think the common bf no-nos are orange juice, coffee, champange (H), Frueli (DD), onions. I only avoided the ones that made my kids posset. DD used to poo after every feed, so maybe she is just one of those. H only ever pooed once a day... but what an example he makes of it.

120 · 28/01/2011 19:14

oh, and sorry about that incident too Blush. Hope JB ok.

hackneyzoo · 28/01/2011 21:16

Well the pooing seems to be easing off and I have not had OJ or coffee today....so maybe that's it.

Pooing incident was funny 120 Grin Jude has been totally into the potty and toilet this evening after seeing H...what a good influence. They were so sweet playing together.

Had all three of them snuggled up in bed this evening and it all felt perfect, think I am all loved up.

SO GA, how's UG taking the news you are moving, or haven't you told him yet? We need at least one more UG story before you move Grin

How lovely... all loved up. Grin

My goodness! I was coming back to tell another UG story! lol I didn't think there would be any to be honest, but he came through. I wrote to say that we signed the final papers and procured our keys to our brand new place and we would be completely out of his basement suite by the time he got home from work Sunday afternoon. He wrote back a civil note saying he hoped that we find happiness in our new place, goodbye. Nothing bad by any means. But then he sent another email to say to leave the keys, etc, (um, duh?) and to leave the TV wall mount as we didn't get his permission to put it up and it will cause too much damage to remove it. It's a $100 wall mount with 2 screws in it. Not entirely sure how much damage he thinks has been done. He probably thinks it huge simply because we had the installers do it when they came to set up the TV as it was a part of the warranty we got, so if it came off the wall, they would pay and fix any damage. More damage was done by the wall mounted coat rack because the wall was damp and it fell off the wall. I didn't ask permission to put all the other holes in the walls to hang art, but he didn't ask for all the art to be left. God, what an idiot! I'm truly baffled that he is a part of my family. Grin

I knew we hadn't heard the last of UG Grin

Teaandcakeplease · 29/01/2011 08:04

Hasn't he heard of polyfilla? Grin

I take it you'll just remove everything from the walls?

I mean I'd probably put some polyfilla over all holes if it was me and sand it down and put a lick of paint over it all. But that's because my walls if I pull something out do crumble a bit around the hole, so I'm becoming the expert at correcting it Wink

Can we see some pics of the new place on fb?

Evening
Had a gd day here

GotArt · 30/01/2011 02:24

OMG... it just doesn't stop! UG is holding one of my artworks for ransom until he inspects the flat and if it looks good to him, he'll give it back. Hmm He says he doesn't trust me anymore and can't trust the state of the flat when we leave. Its in far better shape then when we moved in, that's for sure. I'm having a friend come over when we do the inspection; he's RCMP which is who polices this area. Should be interesting. A great thing about the arts and food industry is that you have many friends with useful disciplines. Grin This story will be updated tomorrow.

Yes, pictures of the new place on FB soon.

GotArt · 30/01/2011 06:00

So he left the artwork at my door, after ringing DH to tell him god knows what, (only know that he phoned him, DH isn't home from work yet) and ringing me to tell me the 'whys' of him doing what he's doing. For someone who said they never wanted to speak to me again, he sure as hell is phoning me lots. Hmm I haven't actually spoke to him, thank fricken god. I can't be bothered.

GotArt · 30/01/2011 06:11

Oh, and we don't have to do an 'inspection' with him because DH said the flat would be in better shape then when we moved in...

OH... just talked to DH. He gave it to UG in his perfect, gentlemanly style. He even told UG to watch his back with GF... which I think he already knows, just not ready to admit openly to himself.

BRING ON THE GLORIOUS FUTURE!!

Nighty night. Grin

Teaandcakeplease · 30/01/2011 07:26

GF? Confused

Glad your H has spoken to him and UG seems to have listened. UG is one highly strung guy.

tinksbabyis2 · 30/01/2011 09:45

grr @ ug

treedelivery · 30/01/2011 15:04

It must be odd for your UG GotArt, because he really has met his match with you hasn't he. He falls on deaf or amused ears, his attempts at intimidation and head fuckery just don't work. Fab Grin.
I'm really glad you got your artwork back though, that would not have been funny if he hung on to that.

I'll kind of miss his stores though! Happy for you though.

Hope you are feeling ok Tink

120 · 31/01/2011 12:31

afternoon all. why is it so quiet on here??

Teaandcakeplease · 31/01/2011 14:14

I'm lurking but cannot seem to think of anything interesting to say Blush But helllooooo ladies Grin

120 · 31/01/2011 14:48

Hi Tea, I've got some stories for you. Potty training is going really well. We tried some pull ups on H overnight and he woke up this morning and told me he wanted to pee... he did a big wee in the potty and his 'night-pants' were completely dry!! DD is still in night-pants and she is refusing to give them up as she loves drinking water all night long. Have splurged on some lovely M&S thomas vests and pants for him. Unbelievable child.

Got another story too, actually. We took them to the zoo yesterday and DD went crazy about the butterfly tent and how butterflies manage to hide and scare off predators using various means. Anyway, she was so excited she took a zoo leaflet about them to school this morning and was eagerly telling anyone who cared to listen all about pupae, camoflage and hawk moths. One of the mums asked me if she was in Reception and was very surprised when I mentioned she had just started nursery. Apparently she did the same at the zoo leaf-cutter ant exhibit yesterday, where she was explaining it to a large Indian family. She was using a stick she had found outside to point out the salient bits. Wish I'd seen it. DP said he had to stand back so she couldn't see him grinning.

Both babies are doing me proud this week Smile.

Teaandcakeplease · 31/01/2011 18:37

Wow! Envy at H and his potty training. Your little girl sounds so clever Smile

120 · 31/01/2011 20:16

Thanks Tea . She is just a classic 3 year old in the mold of Lola. I can't believe how accurate Lauren Child is with their language and mode of speaking. It keeps cracking us both up. Yesterday she said 'nursery is more yuckable than salad'. Kinda sums up much of school really. Though personally I love salad.

So is your night out going to be a big one then?

Teaandcakeplease · 31/01/2011 20:53

No too poor for that, just a friend going back to Russia until May. She's working out there. But lots of friends will be there tomorrow, so more a case of a chinwag with lots of friends and a night off Smile

My 3 yr old DD isn't like that at all. Blush

tinksbabyis2 · 31/01/2011 22:33

Nite nite all gd here tree

120 · 01/02/2011 09:31

Morning all. Blush for preening. It's just I generally spend so much time being cross and shouty with DD that usually I fail to appreciate her qualities.

Hope you have a fabulous night off.

Tink, glad to hear all good!

Teaandcakeplease · 01/02/2011 09:34

What's wrong with preening? Heck I would in your shoes x
