I am in despair. This is appalling

smallishsheep · 10/05/2010 17:06

Eh?
nothing on the news?

voteanythingbutBNPplease · 10/05/2010 17:07

And before anyone says "but we don't vote for the PM we vote for our MP" I know that, but I still think that it's all a bit rubbish.
Just think, our next PM could be ed balls...

Coolfonz · 10/05/2010 17:07

John Major? By the time the next elction comes around half the Tory vote will have died off

ShadeofViolet · 10/05/2010 17:07

Please make it Milliband or Harmon.

Anyone but Balls.

belledechocolatefluffybunny · 10/05/2010 17:08

It's hyperthetical small sheep

The MN party should have stood in the election.

Coolfonz · 10/05/2010 17:08

Could be Nick Clegg...

kitcat1977 · 10/05/2010 17:09

If Lab/Lib coallition goes ahead. And anyway, when does the public ever have a say in the leadership of a political party?

DuelingFanjo · 10/05/2010 17:09

could indeed be Nick Clegg, now that would make me laugh like a drain. Still wouldn't ever vote Lib Dem again though.

I liked Gordon.

Shame

voteanythingbutBNPplease · 10/05/2010 17:10

There would also be the problem that labour +lib dem does not equal a majority. And then they'll need the welsh and scottish nationalists as well. And that then again rears the whole west lothian question.... which does really annoy me.

OP posts:
Coolfonz · 10/05/2010 17:11

Alec Douglas Hume

NoahAndTheWhale · 10/05/2010 17:11

What has happened

PortBlackandRat · 10/05/2010 17:12

There are so many threads on this i posted this on another one:

How the hell can the parties that came second and third be in power with an unelected PM (again) and a leadership contest going on at the same time and a tiny majority?????

belledechocolatefluffybunny · 10/05/2010 17:12

There's nothing on the BBC web site, I have just checked.

It's all speculation and rumour.

Coolfonz · 10/05/2010 17:13

Sin Fein should take their seats, give us some revolutionary vibes...

voteanythingbutBNPplease · 10/05/2010 17:13

(pedant alert) its Alec Douglas Home

OP posts:
NoahAndTheWhale · 10/05/2010 17:13

Coolfonz · 10/05/2010 17:14
