Reports on sky news say that Boris might stand again for PM. How do you feel about that?

I think it’s in the bag for Rishi, so he won’t bother.

maddy68 · 20/10/2022 16:17

I think that would be a disgrace. He was sacked for good reason

CPL593H · 20/10/2022 16:18

Only if we want to make ourselves look even more of a laughing stock in the eyes of the rest of the planet than we already do.

Dodie66 · 20/10/2022 16:18

He’s on holiday at the moment.

I do wish we would have politicians with some integrity who thought for the good of the country instead of for their own advancement. Both parties are full of ambitious people who think only of themselves.

Chateaudiaries · 20/10/2022 16:18

That will make our status as an international laughing stock complete.

Croque · 20/10/2022 16:18

Boris is the only one who can save the Tories in the medium term so they should grovel and twist his arm to get him back. But is Hulk still angry?

Penguinsaregreat · 20/10/2022 16:19

No. He’s a joke.

This

Penguinsaregreat · 20/10/2022 16:19

I think Liz Truss should have stuck it out.

FayeGovan · 20/10/2022 16:19

Yeah bring him back, let him fuck up things even more, then even the most gullible of English voters might stop tugging their forelocks to the rich tory boys.

He’s on holiday at the moment.

Despite the fact that he is still an MP and should be at work representing his constituents. The man is a disgrace.

bozzabollix · 20/10/2022 16:21

The bastard can come back but he can pay me back that bottle of bubbly I popped when he announced his resignation.

Seriously though, we’d be laughed at even more than we are already.

BobLobIaw · 20/10/2022 16:22

I hope not. Corrupt shithead.

stopringingme · 20/10/2022 16:25

Apparently Boris is cutting short his holiday and getting a flight back

LizTrussIsACylon · 20/10/2022 16:25

The fact that he's currently on holiday speaks volumes. Parliament had a long recess over the summer, the mourning recess, and the conference recess. They've sat for about three weeks since he resigned, including this week when he's chosen to go to the Caribbean.

He's a lazy self serving bellend.

StarfishBrain · 20/10/2022 16:25

Dodie66 · 20/10/2022 16:18

He’s on holiday at the moment.

As he always was during every moment of national crisis.

It's absurd that it's even being suggested but given there are reports that they will let the Conservative Members vote again, if he makes the final cut he probably will be. It's up to Conservative MPs to make sure he doesn't. But they're so desperate they may well do something that stupid.

ItisallPooh · 20/10/2022 16:26

It is all so embarrassing. I'd actually prefer Theresa May to that self-serving idiot.

Croque · 20/10/2022 16:27

Carrie will have started to notice the ahem 'downsides' of having Daddy Pig there 24/7. I reckon she will propel him forwards in record time.

Definitely.

KangarooKenny · 20/10/2022 16:28

I wondered if Carrie’s expensive wallpaper is still up at number 10, or if Liz had it ripped down 🤔

Hbh17 · 20/10/2022 16:28

As I commented elsewhere, he didn't do much wrong.
His support for Ukraine was important.
I didn't vote for Brexit, but the electorate did and he got it over the line.
But, as a Conservative, he should have been more libertarian and his overly harsh Covid restrictions were ridiculous.
The fuss about parties etc was totally unnecessary - I don't know anybody who cared about that, but his MPs got scared - now they are realising the truth of the phrase "be careful what you wish for"!

Roselilly36 · 20/10/2022 16:28

Haven’t we suffered enough?

LadyHester · 20/10/2022 16:29

Corrupt, lazy, and incompetent. And a less competent Latinist than Kwarteng.

YingMei · 20/10/2022 16:31

I think it would be an absolute disgrace and would make the tory party look even more out of touch than they already do.
