The entire world's movers and shakers, swindlers and fakers, public money piss-takers will be watching in trepidation at what Trump will do to them. The entire world's great and the good, high and the mighty, shifty and flighty will be supporting Hillary. Will you be with the people supporting Trump?

Have you got the ice cream, the chocolate, the biscuits and the matchsticks to keep the eyelids open ready?

As a warm-up, here is Sky News's 30 minute documentary shown last night

"Trump. Could it really happen?"

Piglet is right. Someone must have told Trump about the CBS poll so he mentioned it, he hasn't got time to read every poll personally. It is no big deal.

This is really pathetic.

claig · 02/10/2016 00:52

It's always a pleasure reading your posts, but I am afraid I will have to leave you to it. Good night and I hope you feel better tomorrow.

And that's why he lies all the time. It isn't because he doesn't know, or because he's made a mistake, or because he's misinformed. It's because it doesn't matter. His supporters love his lies, because they reinforce their prejudices. If, later, they find out it was a lie, they will brush aside the evidence. After banishing the inconvenient truth that doesn't fit their world, they will go back to believing the lie.

Kaija · 02/10/2016 08:28

Yes exactly. Worked for Leave campaign here too. There's a lot of it about.

Lweji · 02/10/2016 08:35

It's often said that people get the government they deserve.

Perhaps after being badly bitten they'll start valuing honesty more.

Rather than valuing child like name calling volatile lying twats candidates.

What a surprise: Trump's tax avoidance confirmed

CousinCharlotte · 02/10/2016 11:06

Oh and it's in the daily fail, claigs fav rag.

claig · 02/10/2016 11:08

Cousin, not everything in the Daily Mail is correct.

Cousin, not everything in the Daily Mail is correct.
Only when it's convenient.

LadyConstanceDeCoverlet · 02/10/2016 12:04

Well, at least claig has acknowledged that tax avoidance isn't what you want to see in a Presidential candidate's history.

CousinCharlotte · 02/10/2016 12:12

Surely what he's done is illegal? Surely he should stand trial?

"Trump Tax Records Obtained by The Times Reveal He Could Have Avoided Paying Taxes for Nearly Two Decades"

www.nytimes.com/2016/10/02/us/politics/donald-trump-taxes.html?hp&action=click&pgtype=Homepage&clickSource=story-heading&module=a-lede-package-region&region=top-news&WT.nav=top-news&_r=0

The key words there are "could have". This is typical hired whizzkid type spin that the Clinton campaign want to hit Trump with. This is the type of thing these people do in elections.

"Although Mr. Trump’s taxable income in subsequent years is as yet unknown, a $916 million loss in 1995 would have been large enough to wipe out more than $50 million a year in taxable income over 18 years."

"The tax experts consulted by The Times said nothing in the 1995 documents suggested any wrongdoing by Mr. Trump, even if the extraordinary size of the loss he declared would have probably attracted extra scrutiny from I.R.S. examiners."

This is just whizzkidese.

For any Trump fans who have been worried that Trump is not for real and he is not prepared to win, I heard his rally last night. From what I heard, I have no doubt that Trump is for real, that he says the system is rigged with corrupt politicians and a compliant media and whizzkids that help them and that Trump is going to end it all in 38 days' time.

There will be more whizzkidese, more spin and more desperation but I have no doubt that Trump will win.

'Surely he should stand trial?'

I hear no one calling out "lock him up". On the contrary, at the Trump rally last night, every mention of Hillary's name by warmup speakers and Trump himself was met by a chorus of "lock her up" from the thousands of Trump fans.

Get ready for the biggest political earthquake of the past fifty years. Trump is going to win. Brexit is nothing compared to the Trump revolution.

This is all so bizarre Grin
And for the record, that money was only 'resting' in my account.......

Lweji · 02/10/2016 13:13

Claig, have you been sucked into a cult? Sad

You can get out, you know?

claig · 02/10/2016 13:24

Nope. I am just an impartial observer.

Lweji · 02/10/2016 13:30

claig... you're cracking me up now.

or should look up the definition of impartial

claig · 02/10/2016 13:35

Talking about "cracking up".

Yes, this tells us where the crowds of nutters are.

"Saturday Night Live's take on the Trump vs Clinton debate with Alec Baldwin as Trump is on youtube"

But the Real Donald is far, far worse.

LadyConstanceDeCoverlet · 02/10/2016 18:57

So the Trump camp is studiously refusing to say anything about the tax dodge. Which means it's true. Yes, Trump has failed to pay tax for years on end. That's not very patriotic, is it?

PigletJohn · 02/10/2016 19:04

Think of all the time he spent on his "Birth Certificate" nonsense.

We're very familiar with tax-dodging billionaires over here.

And Donald is trying to tough it out because the truth is too awful to divulge.
