'Disinterested' when the writer means 'not interested' or 'uninterested'. I appreciate the meaning of disinterested may well be in the process of shifting, but I'm not hopping aboard that bandwagon.

And affect / effect. These two are mixed up all the time.

Which has resulted in the use of impact as a verb which drives me wild! It's not hard people! And it sounds better to talk about an effect rather than it impacting something.
