Morning all - just had my early morning catch up! lol

Welcome Alle01! Happy to help or advise, this thread is very friendly you will learn alot! Another really good wrap you could use with the prefold, a bit cheaper than Motherease are Nature Babies classic wraps. Im a believer in making things work! If they are free give them a go but dont let them put you off if they dont work, be mindfull that there are many other nappies to try!

Myjob - Slapped wrists not it seems lol Well done!

Right been up half the blooming night with my monkey so just having a lazy day i think!

Octothebaglady · 30/03/2010 08:16

I was up earlier as DH away and am busy stalking UPS ... will pop Myjobs prize in post today when go ... trying to juggle school run, doctors, post office, parcelforce and UPS! Hopefully will emerge with 3 large boxes of products, no children and time to covet my new bags before anyone gets to see them lol

I also need a shower so must whizz!

A lazy day too here I think, kids off school easter holiday here, it's raining, have a sore mouth (again, more dental surgery yesterday aarghh but now sorted!)
Pop to PO today as have a few bits on fs board again.
I am hardly using all my Itti's now as Connor just out wets them but reluctant to sell them as spent a fortune and might regret it. My main use atm is Bambinex teddies for at home and flexitots & stretchies when out.

Morning all! Second day of school hols here. Took the dc to Legoland Discovery Centre at the Trafford Centre on Saturday and they had a great time. First time in ages that we've taken all five out together and I was so proud!

Mumface, we are having itti dilemmas here too. I was so cross after taking them out of the machine on Friday that I e-mailed the people we bought them off and asked for an exchange of covers because two of ours have become totally mangled and are almost unusable . They have come back with a very generous offer of two completely different nappies as a replacement if I want as itti have advised them that the outers now should be washed on 40 only and no higher. This is a bit of a problem for us as our nappy wash is always done at 60 and I'm not sure I want to be fishing individual nappies out every time I put a wash on, but not sure what to choose to replace really. Was thinking maybe some BG pockets or AIO. Trouble is I was so looking forward to buying some itti AIO in bigger sizes as the smalls are nearly outgrown now anyway - am looking for ideas for something similar but still pretty.

Octo - thanks for the quick e-mail response last night, I think I get it now . Will put an order together today as I couldn't last night because dh was getting suspicious! Hoping your bags come in today also - I could do with one for dirty bibs and muslins, are there any medium bags in Frolic coming?

LOL at myjob, was going to enter too and asked dh to guess for me - he said "a monkey foot what???" so that was the end of that .

4andnotout · 30/03/2010 10:59

Octo at fluffy post I haven't had any in yonks!

Myjob-yes T-G is all clear and better now, luckily the others were all clear. She just made me panic though, I was having a shower so put dd3 and dd4 in the big girls room to watch a DVD, thinking they would be fine as the stairgate to the stairs was closed, I gt out of the shower to find T-G has opened the top stairgate, gone through, shut it behind her and was sitting a few stairs down. I panicked and opened the gate and went to grab her by she launches herself forward thinking it was a game and rolled the stairs and was stopped at the bottom by the stairgate She thought it was hilarious and is luckily not hurt, no idea what I'm going to do with her now when I shower

We are trying to gt her to sleep in her bed atm rather than ours, it's not going to badly but I think I'm going to have to crack the sleeping before I try the weaning.

Mumface-that's a bugger about your itti's, dd3 did the same but she was about 23 months and toilet trained by 25 months, I thik she was just doing carthorse wee's and flooding them! Dd4 is a really light wetter in comparision, she can wear an itti overnight with no extra booster!

bagpuss · 30/03/2010 10:59

Ooh cross posted - fab news about the bags octo!

Octothebaglady · 30/03/2010 11:48

oh 4 - what a nightmare - ernie is like that and he is 3 in two weeks - gets everywhere!

Bagpuss - sorted re soakers. No medium frolics I'm afraid - they only came in small and large. You will need to stalk Jabula or lizzies real nappies to get one aswell!

bagpuss · 30/03/2010 11:53

Thanks octo, what a shame about the frolic bags - I quite fancied one but a large will be too big. Am looking forward to the soakers though!

Octothebaglady · 30/03/2010 12:39

Bagpuss - the first spring one is gorgeous too - really nice - will go up on website tonight or this afternoon - depends if run out of time!

Octothebaglady · 30/03/2010 12:39

bagpuss · 30/03/2010 12:51

Bags sorted - off to change my name lol

bagpuss · 30/03/2010 13:44

Sorry myjob, completely forgot to say - is kittykins. I meant that I wanted something pretty and slim from somewhere else - will probably just get BGs from KK I think.

Octo, have just made another purchase (multiple orders from a multiple mum, hehe) . Paypal had a hissy fit because I don't have an account or something and so I've had to click on the other option for payment - hope that's OK?

alle01 · 30/03/2010 15:15

hi,people. i will give those prefold nappies a try, and see what happens, if they turn up to be not very good i'll have to invest some money in others, or one of those laundry shops, that give you clean nappies every week,...i found one in my area.
i'm trying to save money as this is my first baby, and there's soooooooooo much stuff that seems so essential, lucky i had lot of presents...
any way, i still have a few weeks to birth, and plenty of time, now in maternity leave

salbysea · 30/03/2010 17:17

myjob, NN is on its way home to you, thank you so much for the loan

I WANT MY WNs I WANT MY WNs I WANT MY WNs, still stalking their FB page to see if there's any pics of them

octothechildherder · 30/03/2010 17:42
