Hey again.

tree I'm just short generally really. Only seem to have one small wrap. where the others have gone I don't know.
Need a few more size ones definitely.
Am a little short on size twos/btp nappies as I seem to have lost HALF my pop-ins (should have ten can only find 5) Have a few size 2 bambinex though so just scraping by for DS's nappy needs. Am having to 'top up' with disposables though when waiting for nappies to dry.

steph1512 · 04/08/2010 13:50

BGs arrived today ..how many times shall i wash them do you think?

I just wash things the once and change them slightly sooner than I normally would till a few washes later. I don't think microfibre needs a lot of prewashes like bamboo and hemp do anyway.

steph1512 · 04/08/2010 19:56

ok thanks been washed but seem to be takin ages to dry..or im impatient ..think one of them might be faulty thou as it just wont dry and the others dried really quick (the main part not the inserts)

I hope they are all dry by the morning..bl
oody rain even the conservatory is failing me today!

I love my only itti but is it me or do the snap in parts take forever to dry!?

mumface · 04/08/2010 20:12

They do take forever. My others arrived today so I have 10 now.
I have also bought a new pushchair today (thanks to link from scotia on cnt) here I went for blueberry even though the fern would match my new green changing bag better beacause I just love the colour

OP posts:
steph1512 · 04/08/2010 21:36

Oooo nice..although nothing pull me away from my bug..have never been tempted by anything else since ive had it..just trying to convince dh thats is a good idea to buy the bright blue footmuff

LacksDaisies · 04/08/2010 22:34

QoD...have CATTED you

Interview went well; will find out in a week or so if I've made it to a 2nd interview. Really fabby job, but fear I don't have the right experience

LacksDaisies · 04/08/2010 22:38

durr.....tried to CAT you, but you don't accept them apparently

Contact me via CAT or daisybump at yahoo dot co dot uk

that strawb nappy is lush . A bit off topic (although still a soft fruit), but we got some blueberries in ALDI today for 69p a punnet. Bumble calls them boobies

QueenofDreams · 05/08/2010 11:51

Hi Daisy have emailed you. Sorry I don't have CAT

treedelivery · 05/08/2010 19:14

Argh! Mouldy bumgenius! My fav yellow too

Steph - bamboo sure does take ages, but it's because it holds so much fluid. So it's a good sign really. Top tip with them is to pck up extra snap in sets, then you can just change those and either not change the wrap, or move them through the wash more quckly. They are nearly dry after a good spin.

No one on mn fancies my itti's, so will have to do pics and get them on CNT. Have also listed a Windoo carrycot on there too. That would be great, would go a long way towards the chld tax credit savings plan

Must see what little thigns I have for you QoD. Good luck, hope you hear soon Daisy

steph1512 · 05/08/2010 19:49

Thanks tree..going to get more snap ins but most of the cheaper places are sold out atm!

Not good re your Bg Ive had my first day of using them today and been impressed Cant understand how to look at they seem almost the same as coolababy but have not wicked one bit..the coolababy wicked alot!

You might be struggling re your itti's as a few places seem to be selling them off at 10.99! Think they must be clearing stock for the new colours.

LacksDaisies · 05/08/2010 22:25

mouldy BG...how? although I once forgot about a lone nappy in the bin when we had a cloth break due to runny bottom.....it sadly went the way of the bin as it was too far gone to try and rescue. Was only an old LL fitted though so I wasn't too upset.

I love BG OS. I know everyone says they are boring, yadayada, but they really do work. OK would be nice to see some brighter colours (the new v4s are a bit insipid imo) or some funky prints, but as a nappy they are bombproof. I think the colour thing is tending to the American market though as they seem to be much more reserved in their nappy colour choices.

Am soooooo enjoying being back in cloth, although bumble has suddenly got an opinion over which napy he wears . Put on one ealrier and he walked about John Wayne-esque, pointed, said Buuuuuum and tried to pull it off. Changed to another nappy and he was happy as larry!! Strange child!

littlesez · 06/08/2010 09:30

Hi not been on for ages! Just wanted to come and rant Blush Does anyone else yawn and/or get irritated when people hype up new products eg. new nappy

I love itti's but i can't be arsed with all the hype on FB at the moment. Looks like a one size to me, great but not worth a big fuss.

BG did it recently too hype hype hype bla bla bla

sorry rant over sorry am grumpy Sad

STEPH I would recomend LL boosters i have some and old tots ones and good for boosting everything.Itti inserts do take a while to dry but i have loads of extra inserts Wink

Morning all :)

I saw the tutto on fb too, def looks onesized to me too, would be an improvement on sized. I would choose those and easyfits if I ever manage to get pg again, so far I have chosen prams and nappies but just waiting for my period to return, so far it's 40 days since the last one Hmm sorry if that's tmi Blush

The local squadron are doing their welcome home parade today but dp will still be at work so I'm gutted I'll miss it although I'll only end up crying, I well up through the whole rememberance day services too Blush

mumface · 06/08/2010 10:22

I like the look of the tutto, it's got to be a OS the extra snaps at the side look like they will combat wing droop in smaller settings. Hope it's not going to be forever till we can try them over here.

Had to send my silver cross pushchair back tried one in a shop since and realised the handles are way too high for a shortie (5ft1) like me. Too used to Bugaboo and P&T that I can adjust. Luckily hasn't cost me to return as didn't accept delivery so it went back for a refund.

Myjob- What is the problem with DS's leg, is it serious?

OP posts:
steph1512 · 06/08/2010 14:12

If the tutto is a one size..im glad i only ordered 3mediums this wk SmileNo what you mean about hype it is slightly over the top..but i still cant wait to see what it is..so theyve manage to sucker me in Blush

Also ordered my bug footmuff last night Grin

Glad Naomi is on the mend and ds's leg isnt anything serious?

4 more possibly more babies..how exciting! Ive been feeling sorry for myself this week ds has grown far to quickly and dd1 starts school in a few weeks Sad

Nappy questions now..Ive got my order through today and some little lamb boosters..if im putting them in a coolababy or Bg do i put them under or on top of the provided insert??

4andnotout · 06/08/2010 14:27

Bamboo or hemnp generally go under microfibre so depends what they are made of :)

what bug do you have Steph? Im desperate for a bee, especially as they are reduced in mothercare at the moment, but i dont dare sell my phil and teds yet as dd3 is still only 2.11 although she walks 90% of the time. I could sell my black xt which would give me near enough £100 or so..decisions!

steph1512 · 06/08/2010 19:26

I have a cameleon and have nearly swopped for a bee twice as they sell for the same price 2nd hand as the bee cost new.

Think if you get a bee def best to go for a bee plus lots of probs with the original which have been rectified in the plus version.

But im sooo glad i kept my cam i love it, plus i live in a village so some rough walks and it was fine even in the snow. Can you tell i like it hehe!

Love the bee aswell would have both if i could Grin

I nearly sold my cam when preg with dc3 to buy a p&t as dd2 was 2the wk ds was born so was worried about getting about. Esp having dd1 who was just off 4 at the time!

2out of the pushchair scared me..but i got by with ds in a mobywrap when i needed dd2in a stroller.

But tbh have the new bugaboo board now which clips on/off in seconds and my dd2 gas really taken to it so just have it in under pushchair basket..and snap it on if she doesnt want to walk.

Cabt recommend bugaboo enough and they are fab if you have any probs

I have bought a blue bee 2009 today from Mothercare instead of the silvercross. It was such a good deal would never have afforded one otherwise. I can handle a slighly smaller seat etc for that difference in price.
I really struggled with my chameleon buggy board, found my feet kicking it and having to walk feet apart a bit to avoid it, and his head is exactly where the handle bar is for my height. This is turning into a pram thread lol. Grin

Envy Mumface.

Myjob-Poor ds :( Hope it is all sorted as soon as possible :)

treedelivery · 06/08/2010 21:51

Much to catch up on!

Steph - thanks for the tip off. I'll try CNT and if they don't shift I'll reduce them.

BumGenius mould result of a wet wipe in nappy bag, sat next to lovely yellow BG. Very Sad!! Sad

Myjob - Big fingers crossed for a quick referal and good news quickly. YOu should get one of those lovely things mumface linked too Smile. Let us know as soon as you hear, I'm sure all will be well. Those ar cute shorties he is wearing Smile
If you can't find a nappy, I think you shoudl buy this - cos I can't Grin Imagine that with a brown itti underneath......

Have sent off my final skirtie . Hopefully gone to a lving home. We went to a soft play pub type thing and had a meal, and the sale paid for most of it. Still though. It smelt of tuttifrutti lanolin. Ho hum. It was too small and we need money. Sad Never mind Smile
