OH they do look good!!! Are they much better than the modern baby pop ins? Are they slim fitting?

And you don't need a wrap? I like the pink ones! I am a sucker for pink nappies!

swampster · 25/02/2009 13:36

They are quite possibly the slimmest! And well furry! And so far I've managed not to go buy a small one for my new baby (I have two large ones ones for DS2) but now I'm off to choose one and I hold you personally responsible!

soon2befamilyof4 · 25/02/2009 14:07

Oh we are sooo skint and I had told myself not to buy any more! But I am soo tempted by that! Are they good for heavy wetters?

afterglow · 25/02/2009 14:15

ru'smum, I have a size2 flexitot for sale/swap over on facebook if you wanted to try one.

I find the bumgenius pocket very slimline, and the bumgenius aio is not a lot bigger. Trouble is, they don't look as nice as the ittis. The ittis are very slimfitting, I had a pink one for dd but it's now gone to a better home with 4andnotout, I didn't love it enough. I really like the modern baby pop ins, I think the fabrics and colours are nice and they're very absorbent and fit fine under all dd's clothes. But I'm not convinced that the sizing really is btp, whereas the bumgenius looks as if it will fit dd forever.

swampster · 25/02/2009 14:28

BumGenius one-sizes fit my tiny seven-pounder and my stonking great two-and-a-half year-old. And they are super reliable. They are just not a nappy you can fall in love with. Blueberry Minky one-sizes also work on both and you can sit and stroke them for hours!

swampster · 25/02/2009 14:29

I like ittis but they don't last very long on my heavy-wetting toddler so on second thoughts, I'm off to choose a blueberry...

TheLadyEvenstar · 25/02/2009 14:42

lmao swampster does anyone sell preloved blueberry minkis?

swampster · 25/02/2009 14:48

When there are any, if they are any good, Lollipop snaps them up!

soon2befamilyof4 · 25/02/2009 14:49

I am thinking about becoming a nappy advisor - has anybody else thought about this or knows what it involves?

4andnotout · 25/02/2009 15:04

I love my blueberries, i even have 2 blueberry wraps now! Just need to get rid of all my sandy's and wraps!

DD3 is wearing her queen bee striped top, striped babylegs and black itti.

SunflowerNeedsSunshine · 25/02/2009 16:07

4 need a picture!!!!!

Hopefully · 25/02/2009 16:53

I am still loving my ittis. The only downside is that I really need another couple of boosters - they're so small that by the time I've run out (I have 3 ittis and 6 booster sets) I haven't got anything like a full nappy wash, so have to carry on using boring (and, I am now noticing, much less absorbant) bamboozles until I have a wash load!
Everyone at baby group was admiring DS in his red itti today - I think I may actually have converted a couple of people to reusables! One of the women is borrowing one of my ittis to try for a day (she currently uses very ageing prefolds and has had enough of them).

Gosh, I washed the preloved WNNN I bought, and it's literally taken 2 days to dry. Clearly it's insanely absorbant, but not sure I can be bothered to use it and face the drying time again! Need to give it a go before deciding which night nappies to keep and which to get rid of.

rusmum · 25/02/2009 17:12

whahts new all wnat are blueberries? not sure if i am jelous of all these wonderfull ittis and blueberries- can not afford though- how many would you need foe full time use?

SunflowerNeedsSunshine · 25/02/2009 17:20

we're having a disposable day, as I'm washing/half stripping all the nappies... so I have 10 itti "shells" staring at me on the table. I have 10 itti plus 3 extra sets of inserts and 2 miniboosters. don't use them at night, but the 10 are otherwise more than enough, maight get a couple of extra inserts. the rest are extra but I still like the pop-ins and the keeping the 2 col sandy's for emergency... really need to get my act together and advertise the bamboo sandy's as they've been washed and sunbleached and they are now all alone in a bag.... I just can't part from them... used the airflow again yesterday... but I still can't get a mark free fit

rusmum · 25/02/2009 18:00

how much sandys???

Do you not wash itti each time then?? Am confused!!!!!!

lollipopmother · 25/02/2009 18:47

You don't need to wash the outer, it's like a wrap, you just need to wash the inserts so as long as you've got more inserts than outers you can re-use.

Swamp - I did snap up quite a few BBOS, but I've sold them all on now bar a cow and a pink spots.

My stash is now 3 BBOS (I use Petit Dessous inserts), 9 Ittis (I think) with God knows how many extra inserts, and 4 WNNN for nights. I'm now getting out the wool, it's all fully lanolised so I intend to sell my Tots wrap and I'll be using purely wool for nights, can't wait.

Sunflower - I know that KirstyH on CNT is looking for some size 1 bamboo Sandy's so it might be worth pm'ing her if you ever want to get rid of yours.

ceb80 · 25/02/2009 19:50

theladyevenstar not sure if you saw my post re your nappies for sale, got swallowed up in Itti talk! Was interested in one of your wool wraps and the soaker but think that has now gone

soon2befamilyof4 · 25/02/2009 19:55

I have a big pile of boosters, - how do you tell what is made of what? I have some that look nice and thick and some really thin and LOOK useless - but I wondered maybe if it was the material that was more absorbant so doesn't need to be thick? I am clueless as they were all boosters that were just thrown in with bundles I have bought over time etc.

ceb80 · 25/02/2009 20:36

ditto soon I have some of those thin ones too, think they are just cotton....

4andnotout · 25/02/2009 20:39

4andnotout · 25/02/2009 20:43
