Greenkids Anytimes say they can be used as swim nappies without the inserts - can't wait to try them. That would suggest that BGs would work too?

TheLadyEvenstar · 19/03/2009 09:54

TheNatty

I will get them out in a bit when I wake dp up for work lol.
He got up at 8 took ds1 to school came back and went back to bed for an hour BLESS lol

Good morning!

4, hope you're feeling better soon, and speedy recovery wishes also to poorlybabyobama, you must be having a miserable time ilovemydog

I put dd in her pink bbh this morning, seeing as it had finally dried from its first prewash. Goodness, how stupidly pretty! Especially with pink stripey woollies on top. She had it on for all of 15minutes before filling it, so I still don't know how absorbent it is.

cyteen · 19/03/2009 11:05

lol afterglow my DS had filled his pink BBH night nappy by midnight anyone would think nappies were meant for a purpose rather than to look pretty!

ilovemydogandMrObama · 19/03/2009 13:35

So, what is the general opinion on Pop Ins? (now that Essie seems to busy with other things....)

I thought the sample was brilliant...

swampster · 19/03/2009 14:25

I didn't get a pop-in!

White BGs, anyone?

ilovemydogandMrObama · 19/03/2009 14:28

Am having a clear out -- anyone want some Lollipop Bamboo Size 1? Have about 5...

No stains, and only washed in unscented powder.

£5.00 plus postage?

BG? BumGenius?

afterglow · 19/03/2009 15:06

I love my pop ins, I have 3 blue and one yellow. They have never leaked, seem very absorbent and I love the feel of the outer. However, I'm still not convinced that they'll fit dd until potty training.

mumoftoby · 19/03/2009 15:33

I am having a mini clear out too.
Does anybody want 4 cotton nippa tots bots and 2 tots wraps. The nappies could do with a tumble dry (sadly I don't have one so don't really like them) - they are a bit crispy and slightly off white although they haven't been used much at all. £15 including postage?

I have got a cream cotton aplix diddy diaper too - £4 posted? Or for £3 if also purchasing the tots stuff.

mumoftoby · 19/03/2009 15:36

They are all size 2!

ChocOrange05 · 19/03/2009 18:58

Oh no I am getting very down about my new nappies - they are both leaking on my DS round the legs. I think its cause he has such skinny ones. The nappies I have are Itti Bitti and BBOS and I love them both. Does anyone have any ideas to help? Do you think he might grow into them? Shall I start injecting collagen into his legs??

TheNatty · 19/03/2009 19:19

ifound more inserts helps, pad the nappy out more,
which nappies are they again?

ellielou02 · 19/03/2009 19:49

choco have you tried the BG yet?? I tried them today and you can adjust them they were quite tight on M's legs (but she has chunky thighs) then I realised I had them on the smallest size.

SunflowerNeedsSunshine · 19/03/2009 20:41

ILove I like the pop-ins, we had a bit of a bad period, but liking them again. I find their bamboo terry is better and more absorbant than anything and the night booster on its own see us very comfortably through the night (I got a pack of 10 + 2 trials). I might sell some though, well, I keep on saying that, but kind of bottle it every time, it's just that I have enough ittis and DD's on the petite side (6.5 months and can still fit in some 0-3 stuff), so the ittis are better as slimmer, so might just keep them for when she's bigger, so atm I'm just using 5 of them. but if I know she'll have a poo before the next nappy change, than I try to put a pop-in as NOTHING escapes them ime.

soon2befamilyof4 · 19/03/2009 20:55

Oh no, sorry to hear your nappies are leaking. I have always had the same problems on and off with leg leaks because DDs legs are very thin.

My zebra BBOS came today - my first soft nappy! Very nice!

Definatly need a bigger wool wrap or some sort of woolie, I am struggling to get this one on DD and the rise is not high enough really. Does anybody know a good place to buy woolies?

Had a very busy day with swimming, parks, visiting family etc and DD absolutly shattered! Off to legoland tomorrow so not sure that tiring myself out this much was a great idea but still!

I haven't used anything PUL since my woolie dried from being lanolised! Not even my pockets!

soon2befamilyof4 · 19/03/2009 21:03

I am not a pop in fan. I bought one from 4 a while ago and loved the idea but they were already very tight on DD who is only 14 months and found them very bulky and took a long time to dry. I swapped it the other day.

soon2befamilyof4 · 19/03/2009 21:20

I am actually starting to wonder if I have made a big mistake by investing in so many pockets as I am loving the wool so much! Will see how I get on.

4andnotout · 19/03/2009 21:25

Well i'll be 1st in line for the zebra bbos

soon2befamilyof4 · 19/03/2009 21:34

Lol. It is lovely, although I don't have anything else soft to compare it to.

I doubt I would sell any till I have the second baby here TBH as even if I get on with wool with DD, I might not with newborn poo explosions!

rusmum · 20/03/2009 06:34

4 please resend pp addy for tb wrap!! have not been with it last few days!! lol

4andnotout · 20/03/2009 09:10

Morning everyone! 3rd day of lovely sunshine in a row! Wow! It's quite exciting to be able to hang washing out! (Yeah, I must be sad! LOL)

Posted a couple of ads over in the classifieds if anyone is looking for some cheap birth to potty fitted nappies! 8 purple ones and 3 orange ones (different makes, but all BTP).
