I haven't got a peppermint yet I need purple and chocolate they look lush!

lol I just NEED more wanted fushia and lavender but they were out of stock, the peppermint is nice tho!! She seemed a bit wet underneath not soaking just a bit damp, I assume they get more absorbant the more you wash?

Yay! Sorted through all the newborn stuff (although I think we are still missing some in the loft somewhere). And found my shaped terries I was looking for (hoping to dye them to make more interesting!).

I also found a lovely butterfly pocket nappy. No idea on the brand but it is fairly small and fleece lined. White with purple butterflies on. Looks very sweet. I remember now having it preloved for DD but never really used as I didn't have inserts and was using prefolds which are so bulky. Also found 2 black sacks of prefolds!!!!! And a small mothercare smart nappy which I always liked BUT the poo always went on the wrap so I used more as an AIO than a 2 part system. I only have 1 nappy and wrap anyway! And found a modern baby small nappy or 2 (anybody know what they are like?). And a wrap to go with them.

So I have enough newborn nappies now. Well actually I had enough before I even looked in the loft .

i will get a few Itti Bitti D'lish i think, just to try..

DH will kill me but meh!

soon, when ur baby outgrows the newborn stuff, could i have first dibs on them? my baby not due for 5 months so would work out about right?

Oh what another glorious day!

I was up at 7.15 put wash on, dishwasher, hung last nights washing load outside, put another in the drier, fed kids, made coffee cleaned living room floor which i didn't do last night just have dp's shirt to iron and Zachary to dress then I can jump in the shower.

Oh and started knitting a pair of wool soakers last night while i had peace and quiet lol

I have my second load of washing on today, although its all just the general newborn stuff (including clean nappies) that I wanted to give a wash before I put it in the draws. Annoying as if my new hemp inserts had come yesterday like Nattys then they could be washing with them! Oh well. So lovely to have all the newborn stuff. I am finally getting excited about this baby! I have been so busy lately that it had got pushed to the back of my mind really. Seeming very real now though!

Natty - thats fine to have first choice on my newborn stuff. I would prefer to sell to one of you guys instead of random people anyway.

Off swimming today and then for a picnic in the park . So won't be on till late afternoon/early evening.

What does everybody use for swim nappies? Just out of interest.

Off to cook breakfast and then hang the washing up outside and then go out!

I use kooshies swim nappies which reminds me i have 2 pairs which need rehoming.

im off out soon, will be taking only cloth with me, (one disposable for toms nap, the BTP are too small for him) and my reusable wipes

i thought going 100% cloth would be alot of hard work, due to frequent changes and leaking etc. turns out i can rely on THEM more
