mumoftoby - I hope you got some money back!?
Got some more lovely nappies today! . I did a swap if anybody is interested, from the mumsnet swaps board. I sell Usborne books so sent some books in return for some nappies! So if anybody needs any books!
My DD leaked today out of just about everything - disposable, bumgenius, kushies, wonderoo . Don't know where I am going wrong. She used to be such a light wetter - to the point I was worried she didn't drink enough. She doesn't drink that much more nowadays but won't stop weeing! Woke up at 3am soaking! Think I am going to get some prefolds out tomorrow - I am pretty sure I have a bag full on top of DDs wardrobe, not the best condition ones I don't think, but might be better in a pocket than the normal inserts? Or could put both in there. Just a bit worried about making it bulky as I have trouble with clothes fitting as it is because she always seems to be the wrong shape!
Really want to invest in some really good nappies for night time but I don't think I can afford any more! I should get £30 back from my council and then another £30 after my baby is born (you get £30 per child but have to provide birth certificate as part of proof so can't get it yet!). But the council are not being very helpful and have emailed them yet again. They do a trial kit too that you borrow for free but they still haven't even sent me the info pack!! ARGH! Sorry just a bit of a rant!
Got some ME airflows today in DDs size which means I can try her out in a lot of other nappies tomorrow as I had a lack of wraps before.
4 (or anybody really) - the modern baby pop in, how do you put it together with everything, including the night booster? I put it on DD the day you sent it to me and it has taken about 3 days to dry! And now I just can't work it out! I think I just shoved the booster thing in anywhere before, but it all has poppers on so I think there must be a better way? I want to try it again for nights, but if not then to use for a day out in the buggy or something, where DD will be changed less than usual.
