ilmd I would be interested in 1 or 2 large sandys if you still have any going. I've never tried one. My e-mail is vikki_higham at yahoo dot co dot uk

swampster thank you for the 2 wraps, I am really, really pleased with them. They are in such nice condition. It has restored my faith in buying used - I bought a fleece tots wrap off ebay this week that was only supposed to have been used a 'handful' of times but the velcro is threadbare and it had weetabix dried into it!

swampster if rusmum doesn't want the BBH I would love to buy it off you - it is a bamboo fleece one isn't it?

EEWW! I hope you didn't leave positive feedback

mumoftoby · 21/02/2009 21:15

4 - I gave her the choice really as I have never left negative feedback before, with over 200 transactions. I messaged her and asked for a full refund including postage both ways, if she wanted it to be returned. She just offered me half of the cost back or the price (excluding postage) and I return it. So I took neither option and left negative (but fair) feedback.

TheLadyEvenstar · 21/02/2009 21:24

Rachel Yes please they look lovely!!!!!

What weight are the L sandys for? and how much ???

soon2befamilyof4 · 21/02/2009 21:28

mumoftoby - I hope you got some money back!?

Got some more lovely nappies today! . I did a swap if anybody is interested, from the mumsnet swaps board. I sell Usborne books so sent some books in return for some nappies! So if anybody needs any books!

My DD leaked today out of just about everything - disposable, bumgenius, kushies, wonderoo . Don't know where I am going wrong. She used to be such a light wetter - to the point I was worried she didn't drink enough. She doesn't drink that much more nowadays but won't stop weeing! Woke up at 3am soaking! Think I am going to get some prefolds out tomorrow - I am pretty sure I have a bag full on top of DDs wardrobe, not the best condition ones I don't think, but might be better in a pocket than the normal inserts? Or could put both in there. Just a bit worried about making it bulky as I have trouble with clothes fitting as it is because she always seems to be the wrong shape!

Really want to invest in some really good nappies for night time but I don't think I can afford any more! I should get £30 back from my council and then another £30 after my baby is born (you get £30 per child but have to provide birth certificate as part of proof so can't get it yet!). But the council are not being very helpful and have emailed them yet again. They do a trial kit too that you borrow for free but they still haven't even sent me the info pack!! ARGH! Sorry just a bit of a rant!

Got some ME airflows today in DDs size which means I can try her out in a lot of other nappies tomorrow as I had a lack of wraps before.

4 (or anybody really) - the modern baby pop in, how do you put it together with everything, including the night booster? I put it on DD the day you sent it to me and it has taken about 3 days to dry! And now I just can't work it out! I think I just shoved the booster thing in anywhere before, but it all has poppers on so I think there must be a better way? I want to try it again for nights, but if not then to use for a day out in the buggy or something, where DD will be changed less than usual.

soon2befamilyof4 · 21/02/2009 21:29

Sorry - I am a chatterbox today

TheLadyEvenstar · 21/02/2009 21:33

Soon2

would you like the bamboozles in exchange for some books
?

mumoftoby · 21/02/2009 21:36

Hello Soon2be I was only offered a partial refund so I thought shove it and just left my first ever negative feedback.

Did you have both the microterry inserts in the wonderoo when it leaked? Mine have even lasted overnight with both in. If so, she must really be weeing for England! I know what you mean about clothes not fitting DS2 has a fab pair of timberland jeans and I have bought an ella's house hemp to try just to so he can still fit into this one pair of jeans.

Sorry I can't be any help - I have never used a pop in.

4andnotout · 21/02/2009 21:43

I ust wrapped the big night booster around the main insert as couldn't work out where to snap it I dont trust any nappy at night for dd3 except bumhuggers, she is a real piddlepants!

thebluefoxategreensocks · 21/02/2009 21:51

TheLadyEvenstar: Great. If you can send Paypal to [email protected] I can get them posted off to you on Monday! xx

Btw, not many posts left before we have to start a new thread!

4andnotout · 21/02/2009 22:01

Just got a blueberry wrap on ebay for £8 with free p&p! Might keep my small sandy's for a while as a back up now! Im a sucker for minkee!

Right i need to make some cash now and not spend it! Anyone want anything

soon2befamilyof4 · 21/02/2009 22:07

TLES - I have CAT you.

4 - thats a good deal. I love the look of the blueberry wraps! Haven't got any though because of their price.

I have been out all day at my mums so she can help look after DD as I have been so ill lately and really struggled yesterday. Which means I haven't sold anything. Hubby home tomorrow so can get him to look for the nappies in the loft Really hope he finds lots! I can then sell the ones I don't want and keep the ones I do.

swampster · 21/02/2009 22:09

At least your council gives you something (eventually), soon, mine gives a big fat 0!

mumoftoby, if rusmum doesn't want the BBH, it is yours for £7.50 posted.

I had pretty much the same experience with some fleece wraps I bought from someone on usednappies - to be fair, she did say they were a bit bobbley - but I wouldn't have classed them as saleable.

TheLadyEvenstar · 21/02/2009 22:09

soon nothing come through yet, email me on [email protected]

soon2befamilyof4 · 21/02/2009 22:26

Done

soon2befamilyof4 · 22/02/2009 00:11

Has anybody tried Nappy Nation nappies? I have some but never see them mentioned anywhere! Got them second hand about a year ago.

Also, has anybody every actually got on with bambino mio wraps? I have lots but not sure if they are worth keeping? Have loads in newborn, small etc but have all sizes up in the loft I think.

Hopefully · 22/02/2009 09:43

Well, the bumhugger, boosted with it's own insert and a bamboo one and covered in tots bots wrap, got the ultimate test last night - didn't wake DS for a dreamfeed, so he had the nappy on from about 6pm, and he had three feeds overnight (as well as 4 other wakings ) so was weeing loads, and the nappy didn't leak at all.
Well, it didn't all night, and survived my dozy feed in bed this morning (only way he will relax is feeding due to vast quantities of phlegm in the throat), but then I brought him downstairs to finish the feed before changing the nappy, and my god, did it leak! But it had been on for 14 hours at that point. God, I'm such a slummy mummy.

soon2befamilyof4 · 22/02/2009 11:29

Thats good hopefully. It looks like I am going to need to save up for some bumhuggers!

TheLadyEvenstar · 22/02/2009 11:52

soon what sooze bumhuggers do you need?

TheLadyEvenstar · 22/02/2009 12:50

A facebook group I created for us nappy users, come and join me

soon2befamilyof4 · 22/02/2009 13:05

I guess large? Not familiar with their sizing but my DD is 14 months and about 20lb ish. Quite small for her age and has skinny legs.

Will come and join you on the facebook group .

TLES - I have got your email, I will reply today at some stage, I am just having a think. I don't have the older book in stock and just thinking about a way of ordering it in without it getting silly with postage (I have a £5 charge of orders to me and if I want it to go else where, another £2.50 or something). I usually do big orders in one go but I have not long done one and I am trying not to order much more in because of the new arrival coming soon. I have loads of younger books in stock as I usully go to toddler groups etc but the older ones I just have a few select ones to show people etc.

soon2befamilyof4 · 22/02/2009 13:06

The facebook link is just going to my home page?
