Ann I think I've got a Bumble, a Teddy and a Flexitots coming from the Nappy Lady along with various bits and bobs like wipes...soooo tempting to start ordering bits and pieces from elsewhere though 'just to see how I get on' .

AnnVan · 23/01/2009 10:19

oh cyteen don't you are becoming von of us mwahahahahaaa.

ilovemydogandMrObama · 23/01/2009 10:21

Well done Lollipop!

Now, did anyone find out:

  1. State of Tree Delivery's Sapling?

  2. Who the lurker was?

  3. A reliable night nappy? Just called Babeco and they are shut on Fridays, so will try and get there Monday....

SunflowerNeedsSunshine · 23/01/2009 10:25

been keeping an eye on her antenatal thread but nothing there too...

rusmum · 23/01/2009 10:27

Hi all

swampster · 23/01/2009 10:59

Ilovemydog! HOW MANY TIMES DO I HAVE TO SAY IT??? Reliable night nappy? Baby Beehinds bamboo (or hemp if you are Isaidno).

I know some people complain they come up small on a toddler but DS2 is a fairly average-size 2.7 and I think they should last till he doesn't need them any more.

They are BTP, lovely, lovely, lovely, and I have never had a leak with one and a fleecey Stacinator.

Baby Beehinds come with two snap-in boosters - I use both with DS2. I used to use extra boosters because previous experience made me paranoid, but I soon realised that I don't need to.

They are quite fleecy naturally so I don't bother with a fleece liner - don't really like putting artificial fibres next to his bum, he goes a bit pink at the edges.

Before that I tried Fluffles with extra boosters (enormous, smelly, and leaked) Bumhuggers with extra boosters (effective but I prefer Baby Beehinds), Bamboozles with extra boosters (feel quite clammy when wet and I really would rather not use fleece liners to keep him dry)...

Then of course there are utterly gorgeous night nappies like Holdens Landing Bedbugs which I look at and drool over but could never justify as they cost over $30 plus $6 shipping and almost never come up second hand and when they do they are gone in seconds...

ilovemydogandMrObama · 23/01/2009 11:02

Don't shout at me Swampster -- am out of my comfort zone as have never tried Baby Behinds

Now, can you solve all my other problems?

swampster · 23/01/2009 11:05

ILMD would you be so kind as to send me an email at swampster at rocketmail dot com, please...

swampster · 23/01/2009 11:06

(I want to shout at you in private )

wastingmyeducation · 23/01/2009 11:19

Hey all, I've not been around on here because you drive me crazy with all the gorgeous nappies I can't buy!
I've got one all-in-one Bambinex (I think that's what it is) and it was sooo easy to use. I love my terry squares, but DS is getting so wriggly, I had to refold a nappy three times before I got it round him yesterday!
I might get a couple more shaped/aio for the out and about bag because there's never enough room to fold a nappy in most changing rooms, and it's stresssful trying to fold with one hand and hold the baby down with the other!

Those Pea Pods look nice - who's used them?

swampster · 23/01/2009 11:25

I've just looked and the pea pods, drooled a little, and slapped my wrists.

I'm also resisting the pop-ins and blueberries of this world even though they look so lovely because I am getting on so well with BumGenius one-size. But I can't resist the odd Itti Bitti even though I don't find them quite as reliable.

swampster · 23/01/2009 11:26

I take my hat of to you with your folds and baby-origami though!

swampster · 23/01/2009 11:31

off, even - DOH [bangshead]

rusmum · 23/01/2009 11:38

wasting you tried shaped terries?? A little easier than folding but still nippa. I got lots if u need???

wastingmyeducation · 23/01/2009 11:46

We've got six Bumbles that we use at night and they are very good, but I don't want to spend too much, that's why I've been avoiding the thread!

rusmum · 23/01/2009 11:49

LOL - i know what you mean i keep buying and now have toooooooo many!!

Need to rid myself of a million prefolds and 20 or so shaped terries! lol

swampster · 23/01/2009 11:51

Would you like some cheap, cheap, cheap fluffles, bamboozles, cotton tots bots... How old is your LO, wasting?

rusmum · 23/01/2009 11:54
