Attempting suicide isn’t your fault, you are not responsible. The medication she has taken has a very low risk of damage following overdose. Please try not to worry.

Did she have existing mh issues?

Yes, she was recently diagnosed with depression.
She's starting to look really ill and they haven't even triaged her yet. She's just sitting with her head between her knees.

Is she expressing remourse about what she did?

It is my fault. They're my medicines and I was clearing out the cupboard where they live and I accidentally left them on the side. I had no idea she was feeling this bad.

Keep on at the staff, tell them you're extremely worried. Unfortunately from several A&E experiences patiently waiting doesn't get you anywhere

It is ABSOLUTELY NOT your fault OP. You aren’t to blame for the actions caused by her illness. Not even slightly.
You are getting her help. You’re doing the right thing.

Do you know how many she's taken? Did she seek help once she'd taken the pills?

It's not your fault OP. It might be comforting to think that (it gives an outlet for your anger) but it's not true.

Do they know she's overdosed? How long ago was it?

She sounds like she hasn't done too much damage If she's conscious etc.
Has she been prescribed any medication for her depression? Don't blame yourself or her, let her know how much you love her xx

Do you know for sure how many she took and what strength?
