She's taken an overdose. And it's my fault, I left my medication where she could find it. Shit, shit, shit.

If you're comfortable- not being morbid- are you happy to say the medication name? May be that someone can give you a run down if the expected side effects, and hopefully some reassurance regarding it, since you can't be there with her. Wishing you both the best. This is t your fault for having the medication out. If she was that low- she would have found them anyway. I hope you have someone supporting you.
Mumsnet deleted any mention of the medication name, even when people mentioned it again in a quote and quite rightly, to stop potential ''Copycats''. It was a prescription only med, and the hospital will know what best to do.

@Georgarina I'm so sorry Flowers. I'm not surprised you can't forgive them. I hope you got some support from others.

OP how are you both today. Hopefully you got some sleep.

Another organisation that is specifically for young people is Papyrus
www.papyrus-uk.org/. They will give you advice too.

Further down the line this organisation provides respite stays for suicidal people. www.maytree.org.uk/

There is help out there and I wouldn't rely on the NHS once she's got through this initial crisis as their mental health services are overwhelmed. Get support for your daughter privately if you can afford it with someone who specialises in working with young people.
