Tommy turned 4 months on the 2nd, we've been going through the sleep regression phase for a couple of weeks now, we had 1 good night & thought that was it but no.....
He tends to go to bed around 7pm, wakes for a feed around 10pm & 2am, then wide awake around 7am. He has at least 3 naps in the day, anywhere from 30 to 60 mins, he tends to sleep longer when being held, or out in the pushchair or car.
We had a couple of really awful days where he literally refused to feed in the day, going up to 8 hours between feeds, then waking every 2 hours at night hungry!! I'm glad he's no longer doing that.
@Jellycat2020 I go up with Tommy, then about 30 mins after he's fallen asleep I go downstairs & catch up with the cleaning for 30-60 mins, we use the baby monitor to keep an eye on him. His teenage brothers are always upstairs too so they'd also be able to hear him (all doors open), its the only chance I get to get any proper cleaning done.
@Nic2908 my LO is happy to be held by anyone, luckily! We've been in a bubble with MIL, FIL, SIL & niece (1 household) so between us, them & his brothers he's seen plenty of people. My other niece who was born during the 1st lockdown is painfully shy, she literally hides when she sees other people.
@Kj1010 what foods have you tried with your LO? I don't think we'll be weaning for a while yet, he's barely interested in his milk let alone food. He's the complete opposite to his brother, he was insatiable & we ended up weaning him early, he loved his food. Tommy was referred to the hospital when his milk allergy was detected, were still awaiting an appointment, he'll be seeing a dietitian & having allergy tests, etc, so I won't be attempting any weaning until after the appointment.
