Is this a ridiculous name?

We have twin girls due in a few weeks time and are stumped on a name for baby B.
Our name for baby A is Quinn and the names of our other kids are Arabella, Felix and Hugo.
For baby B we've been deciding between Audrey, Eloise and Pippa.

However, the point of this question is to ask, do you think Pippilotta or Pippalotta is a ridiculous name? If we use Pippa, we'd like it to be as a nickname, but aren't fans of the traditional Philippa. So, would Pippilotta or Pippalotta work, or alternatively Ophelia or Josephine with Pippa as a nickname?

Please don't hesitate to share your feedback. I don't want to give my child a ridiculous name and fear that pregnancy hormones have clouded my judgement!

What about Opal

Quinn and Opal are very sweet

Handsnotwands · 19/03/2021 23:32

Is the Quin twin a him?

23PissOffAvenueWF · 19/03/2021 23:51

No, Quinn is a girl, as has been repeated many, many times throughout the thread.

For God’s sake, don’t go with Aubree.

@HeyGirlHeyBoy

The dated DH name could be Lesley, Lyn, Hillary?

OP I know you've decided, but I wanted to throw in that I know twins Quinn and Darcey.. I think they go nicely. Best of luck!

But why would that be off putting unless he's demanding you shout his full name during sex?

Isn't Big Daddy's name Shirley?

SleepingStandingUp · 20/03/2021 09:27

Do people not read updates?

Quinn is settled as it's a very important family name. No need to keep being rude about it

HeyGirlHeyBoy · 20/03/2021 09:30

Ha ha, I agree but I was just suggesting options as people are intrigued Grin

Missing the point of the thread but how do people know what order they're going to be born in anyway?

Fairly late on it's unusual for them to swap over if one is top and one is bottom. Even if they doz if there's a size difference you'd know which one was A and therefore Ariella Vs B who is Bodecia. For us it was never that clear who would be first and they were so close in size o think they got them muddled a few times in utero so we did a first out is C and second out is A. We picked the C name first.

Audrey is a lovely name, I'm glad you decided against Pippilotta!

I know you've moved on from thinking about other names Pippa could be short for but I know a couple of Penelopes who go by Pip or Pippa and have always thought they were fab nicknames. Is there a special family name you will give to Baby Audrey as a middle name?

Roszie · 20/03/2021 16:33

OP I salute you.

You've had some absolutely horrid, spiteful comments on here and you've acted with dignity and risen above them all.

I'm glad you've chosen names you're happy with Thanks

@Thewinterofdiscontent

If you aren't here to answer the question that this thread was created to answer, you aren't needed here.

Don’t get stroppy with me !
Why are you still here although you answered your own question within a few pages?
(And any response was pointless because you’re moving to the States so British opinions on your name choice meant jack).

I'm just going to assume that you're an unhappy old lady with nothing better to do than try and antagonise strangers over the internet, and leave it at that :) Have a great weekend.
