My nearly 10 year old ds has just asked me how 2 men can have sex bloody Coronation street I explained the sex thing to him a couple of years ago, I subtly cowardly changed the subject, but I could see he was pondering the 'mechanics' he then seemed to have a 'light bulb' moment and hit the nail on the head, I confirmed he was correct, he didn't seem particularly perturbed and has gone to bed to finish Gangsta Granny!

Has anyone else had this question at such a young age? I feel like the very basics of sex is enough at 10 but it seems like everything is happening younger nowadays

I'm not "starting that". As the patent of a gay son, I find your post fucking offensive. AFWIW, my children went swimming on their own from the age of 8, and into public toilets.

My DS has been going into public toilets on his own from about 7. I'm not being "right on"' about it - it's just what happens.

Recently I took dds friends swimming...one was a boy and the mother told me not to let him in boys loo on his own..because of
strange men...I was a little taken a back..particularly as he is quite a feminine little boy..and I can see how she can't see the writing on the wall..but there you go, I am sure he will settle down with a lovely young man
