I am a single parent, two DC's at home, 2 at uni themselves.

Going into 2nd year and starting to panic about how I'm going to juggle everything

Just got in from longest day ever. My feet hurt, I have no chocolate and I'm going to rant. Enjoy!

Really barking professor going on about Blake for three hours. Much waving of arms and going off on a tangent.

Realised got two pieces of work due in on the same day. In 3 weeks.

Stood on a cracked flag in pavement and dirty icy water flooded my shoe.

Brolly turned inside out, and wouldn't fuck off turn back again.

Well today has been better for me

Did a couple of hours (well 3) of really good focussed study.

Problem is it was on the subject I like should have been doing one of the horrible ones

Have lit the fire and am sitting here with the book in front of me. Do you think if I just have the book in the room the information would osmosis-ify into my brain? You know, the same way it will when you print out information from the interweb/the library website and then never look at it again?

I hope it does work as I fully intend to use that method of study myself.

I too write meaningful 'intelligent' notes in lectures, then get home and think what the hell are these hieroglyphics about. Good times, good times.

Yesterday was my day in again, I still don't think I'm getting used to the length of the day.
And the only time I seem to study well is when I go to my parents and they keep an eye on DS.

Bit annoyed though that I have to either go back in to college, or wait until next week for my Student Tax Exemption Form.
So still no idea what my rent or Council Tax will be xD.
