I am a single parent, two DC's at home, 2 at uni themselves.

Going into 2nd year and starting to panic about how I'm going to juggle everything

Anyone else?

They have sorted it for me but I have to wait until I am in college again, Monday, to pick it up as they refused to post it to me.

I have drawn up a treaty whereby I get to watch xfactor then I will leave them to it. I can already hear DD2 saying "they are leaving meeee outtt" x 100000.

Apparently the 3 who are staying (so the four incl my DD1) are "going to pull an all-nighter" on Sat night.

I've printed tomorrow's 7 page long poem off and I'm staring blankly at it...

Soooo tired today. Have written out a list of things to do this week in true procrastinating style.

You know that theory of printing it off makes it osmosify into your brain??

Well I've extended it. I got a desk and I built it and I've set up my computer and my printer.

And it feels so ridiculously good to have a proper corner as a workspace. I'm sure I'll get much more work done and setting up light, and pens and paper and rulers and all that stuff is bound to mean that knowledge will osmosify into my brain that much more efficiently, right?

Oh of course, the way the pens and stuff are lined up Increases our intelligence. Even more so if you faff about buying nice folders and pots for said pens. they might aswell give us our Firsts now

That's what I need to do actually, my desk is too small and the chair's really uncomfortable.

A trip to IKEA is on the cards.

They are just 1500 word textual analysis so not a big deal really but totally new subject matter. Writing from the 17th century and Romanticism. They want a lot of spiel for their 1500 words too.

I am struggling to get motivated. I have just done the homework from hell with DD2 and that has drained my reserves somewhat.
