i feel it aint the same it used to be.too cliquey. i tried to offer wee bit of help and advice earlier to other mnetter and basically got ignored, but when another one of the clique offered advice she was all, thanks yous and asking how she was.

We are a clique HM. But it's because you, me, LGJ, mars and cucumber man hang out here at odd times. If we hung out at 9am then we would be with the early bird crew. Timing does not a clique make. Although it's nice to meet another hairy-footed person .

I must admit I don't post on profiles - and that is the very reason I've never put up my own one!

In answer to the original question...sometimes. I joined mn in November and used to have some lengthy conversations in threads and on msn. But they have really dies a death now even though I am on most nights.
I have also had a few threads that I actually kill bt I don't worry about it too much. I'm still here and intent to be for a while.
It doesn't matter to me who I am talking to as I don't know many people personally.

yes I was helsi but someone decided to have a similar name and some people found it confusing.
wish I was till helsi sometimes as I "knew" more people then.

there are people who know each other and are more likley to actually reply to that person. in that respect mnet is cliquey. this is not to say that people are deliberatley ignoring you for the more popular option of someone else.

there are established friendship groups and they can be cliquey - however i dont take offence ont he whole -as, i think that perhaps they arenot deliberatle ignoring me - rather .. deliberatley replying to someone they know.

but there are cliques
