I dont know who needs to read this...but here i go.

Leggings, yes those thin, skin tight, tasteless, awful "trousers" as some dare to call them.
Have you seen your butt?
Im not shaming, laughing or otherwise. Im expressing opinion. Free speech and all that.
So, when you wear them with double wardrobe bum take a look on the backside, stomach. What is showing and hanging.
Women who started wearing them had butt to show off as they went to gym every day. Later it became trend and cheap way to cover skin.
You can still wear leggings, but be reasonable. Pick something that covers butt at least, doesn't show how far belly is hanging. Etc
We have normalised abnormalities. Why?

Bet you’re fun at parties ya miserable sausage. You might find your life gets a bit less stressful when you stop being such a nosy Nellie about what other people are doing. What a melt.

SunandRain101 · 22/11/2025 08:13

Maybe read the post again. I said those bums who don't look good...why would you wear leggings
I simply dont understand it

Comfort and affordability?

No one needs to read this. You need to read some self help books

BreakingBroken · 22/11/2025 15:06

Well if other trouser options were at all comfortable I’d consider other trousers to leggings and longer tops.

LessOfThis · 22/11/2025 15:07

Maybe take your opinion and shove it?

Catwalking · 22/11/2025 15:07

they’re ok worn under jeans in the damned cold weather we’ve been having!

BuildbyNumbere · 22/11/2025 15:08

SunandRain101 · 22/11/2025 08:27

Not much of a body shaming...more of sense. People need common sense to what they wear. Its not brain surgery.

Why don’t you mind your own business and get on with your own life? Imagine being so triggered by what someone else chooses to wear 🤦🏻‍♀️

Barney16 · 22/11/2025 15:09

Well I'm wearing leggings under my jeans because it's freezing. So they are coming in mighty useful.

Suppose it didn’t start out as a reason to piss you off specifically- but the fact that it does, is a delight. Women normally only have to worry about men’s behaviour but apparently you’re out scoping out other women’s backsides and felt the need to share this with the rest of us. I’m not going to shame your kink, you do you, but it’s really weird.

Ladies keep wearing whatever you want. No one gets to decide which bodies have a right to be seen in public and in what.

Nellsbells173 · 22/11/2025 15:10

yrbvu to describe any of those things as ‘abnormalities.’
You’re clearly happy with your mean attitude showing.

JudgeBread · 22/11/2025 15:11

Oh goody! Two "let's bash other women for minding their own business" threads in two days! My favourite. This one's even better than the last because you're upset that women have arses and bellies! Oh the shame.

Just for you OP I'm going out to squeeze my fat arse into a pair of leggings a size too small, with a scrunch butt and everything. I'll even wear a nice playboy thong to make it extra abhorrent for you. I love the idea that my human body that I live in is so offensive to you that you feel the need to make a whole ass thread about it.

Arlanymor · 22/11/2025 15:12

What a horrible post.

Blueberry911 · 22/11/2025 15:14

OP, I'm not shaming or laughing, I'm just expressing free speech - you sound horrible and a bit thick.

JaneGrint · 22/11/2025 15:17

“Im not shaming, laughing or otherwise.”

Sure you’re not 🙄

It’s not any less an attempt to shame because you say that 🙄

Just let women get on with wearing them if they want to, it’s perfectly harmless. And they’re often a practical option even if they’re always the most flattering clothing choice out there.

Fluffsicles · 22/11/2025 15:18

First wore leggings as a toddler nearly 40 years ago, continued to wear on occasion. They're comfy is likely why they are popular, and not everyone looks bad in them, although they aren't smart wear. Don't think they are right for the workplace, unless it's something that involves exercise, and the see through ones aren't ideal. The other week outside Sloane Square, a women was out in a blazer and knickers with heels, would have welcomed leggings.

It’s a subjective opinion, not common sense. This post of yours suggests a lack of intelligence since you don’t know the difference!

SooticaTheWitchesCat · 22/11/2025 15:20

I do kind of agree, although I wouldn’t have put it quite in those words 😹
I really don’t like leggings and they can be very unflattering on some people. I ve that they are comfortable but they don’t always look good

ErlingHaalandsManBun · 22/11/2025 15:21

Well I wear leggings (gym leggings) pretty much daily as I have 2 active dogs that need long walks everyday and its convenient for me to wear them. I wear long sweatshirts that cover my arse and walking boots on my feet.

I couldn't give a flying fuck what anyone says about me wearing leggings every day or if anyone thinks I look okay or not in them. I live in rural Wales and this is how I roll 😂🙃

I secretly think women who wear heels and/or dress up to take a flight must be bonkers and I sometimes wonder why women who have obvious saggy breasts wear a low cut top. These things don't make sense to me but each to their own.

People can wear what the fuck they want and as long as they feel comfy and/or they think they look okay then who are we to judge.

StrikeForever · 22/11/2025 15:22

Sux2buthen · 22/11/2025 08:53

peopke giving attention to an obvious rage troll that doesn’t actually care about leggings will encourage them to post more

Good point, sometimes I’ve responded before I realised that because the post is so provocative.

YBVU for saying the word butt.

what is YBVU??

Teddy589 · 22/11/2025 15:26

Ah, OP, you must have seen me. I live in them in the week as they’re convenient for the (endless) dog walking I do in my village. I’m definitely not a size 8. I am sorry if they offend at all but I’ll be keeping on wearing mine; as others have mentioned, the affordability, comfort and convenience of them outweigh others’ opinions!

WearyAuldWumman · 22/11/2025 15:28

I've seen my bahookey in my Sweaty Betty leggings at the gym. It looks bloody good for that of a 65 yr old woman. (The stomach's another matter. Work in progress - but I don't have to look at it.)

I'm wearing compression leggings for medical reasons - I have one saphenous vein which (I've been told by a consultant) formed in utero with no valves. My leggings are very helpful and I have no intention of giving them up now that I've found them. Apart from anything else, they're easier to get into than my surgical stocking.

As if anyone cares what you think OP! Live your life and stop staring at bottoms all the time. Weird!
