Piffle in Hospital...

[Piffle]

Hello, Piffle's (Jane's) hubby here.
I hope that I have posted this in the correct section!

Jane has asked me to let the club know that she had to be admitted to hospital this afternoon with appendicitis. She has already had the operation and is now back on the ward recovering, both Jane and the baby are fine.
As many of you will know, Jane is 21wks pregnant so the docs are likely to keep her in for at least a couple of days so that they can keep a close eye on her and the baby.
I'll be back at the hospital in the morning to see how she is getting on and to take her a few bits 'n' pieces to make her stay on the ward easier.
I'll try to post an update when I get more news.

Ooooooh piffle - poor you Appendicitis is no fun (have had mine out too. I was only six, but have a long memory). Glad you and baby are doing fine and wishing you a very speedy recovery. x

I've just had my appendix out (but I wasn't pg at the time!) - not fun I know

Appendicitis whilst pregnant - that's so unfair! I hope you feel much better very soon and can cosy up at home reading lots of baby magazines (cluck, cluck) Very best wishes.

Oh heck! That's not good is it but I hope she is feeling better.
My DH had appedicitis a few years ago and I know by empathy how painful that was. Glad to hear your baby is OK.

Oh Piffle you poor thing. Scary at any time but esp when PG. But I know of someone else who had appendix out while PG and both she and babe were fine.

Take it easy. LOTS of rest.
