Hi, hope your Jogglers have arrived safely. Once you've had the chance to get them set up and had a play, please can you post your feedback to these questions from O2:

  1. Did you find it easy to set up?
  1. What worked best for you?
  1. Would you recommend it to a friend?
  1. Do you think it's good value for money
  1. Would you like to see any additions?
  1. How would you use it to organise your family life?
  1. Anything else you'd like to add?

And the latest on the webchats is that they'll now take place between 1-2pm (not 7pm) on Weds 10 June and Weds 1 July on www.mum-e.co.uk, but as usual if you can't make it on the day you can leave your questions/feedback in advance and the Joggler team will answer them/respond between 1-2pm.

We'll post the urls of the chats as soon as we have them.

Happy Joggling,

MNHQ

Mine still hasn't arrived. Am so jealous! It was delayed due to my hol. Hoping it arrives tomorrow, so when I'm back from screaming at those TAke That boys I'll be able to stroke it instead.

My joggler is starting to become a part of family life now. The kids tap the weather to see how hot (or not) its going to be, dh looks at the traffic before deciding to get the train or drive down the M1, I check the calendar or look at the news. I might be changing my mind about it, but I would like O2 to fix some of the things people have said above.

How is everybody else finding it?

BONKERZ · 05/06/2009 08:17

Im loving the text reminders and now DH is on O2 it should really start working for us!
DS loves the fact he can check the weather and he also likes to set the alarms to help him with his routine (he has asd!), I have a list of things i need to do to update the joggler and havent got round to doing it though BUT gave dh a lesson in putting his hours on last night and now i have gone and got myself a job it will be very useful to remind DH to pick up kids etc

Am thinking about adding another person to the calender but calling them meal and maybe doing my meal planner on there then i can get the joggler to text me the day before or hour before to remind me what im cookin! Do you think that will work? will also mean DS and DH can see whats for tea!

SoupDragon · 05/06/2009 09:25

Where on earth do I find my O2 calendar online??

SoupDragon · 05/06/2009 09:30

After a lot of hassle, I found it. Is there a direct link somewhere that I've missed?

Anyway, despite having a text reminder set for 1 hour before a 9am event, it reminded me at 8:36 when I'd already left for school (luckily with DS2's swimming kit as I'd remembered anyway)

I found my calendar in the end but why isn't there a link on O2 that says "my calendar"? Or is there?

I'm still annoyed that my reminder text came after I needed the reminder.

MelonCauli · 05/06/2009 13:13

Like you, SD, I am finding that my reminders are not coming an hour before but more like 30-40 minutes.

largeginandtonic · 05/06/2009 14:41

Was grilling the twins this morning for in school activities. It was only when one of them pointed at the clock i realised Joggling had in fact made us late.

Sure it is a one off.

Am addicted to tapping

DH has put in his away status. This sounds good BUT he is away for 6 months and i am to be reminded every day by the Joggler. This is to extreme right?

SoupDragon · 05/06/2009 14:42

Add some spurious appointments of your own that he will get notified of whilst away.

largeginandtonic · 05/06/2009 14:51

I would if he was reachable in the far away country he is off too.

In fact i would notify him of every appointment i will have Just to show him how busy i am.

MerlinsBeard · 05/06/2009 15:05

My alerts are coming late too. I had a VERY important Drs appt yesterday at 3:40 - i needed to walk to it so needed to leave at 3:15 LATEST. Good job i remembered as my text reminder arrived at 3:30

Am finding that we love the weather bit too and the calendar is fab - even DH likes it!

Have already advised 3 people to NOT get it and to go with ipod touch instead though. Sorry O2 but they can access your calender from the ipod touch which i DID recommend.

lou031205 · 05/06/2009 16:45

Yesterday I had a reminder that came 40 minutes after my event

SoupDragon · 05/06/2009 17:30

Kind of defeats the whole point doesn't it?

whoops · 06/06/2009 11:43

Does anyones Joggler suddenly come to life?
I was sat here yesterday and it suddenly made a sounds and the main screen came up!

I'm not going to be able to make the web chat on the 10th either as I am working between 12-3

MARGOsBeenDrinkingTea · 06/06/2009 12:11

My dds managed to freeze the screen today. I had to reset it.

MrsWeasley · 07/06/2009 10:38

On the calendar on the PC the "special day themes" move but on the joggler they are still. Is this the same one everyones?

ReginaCovington · 07/06/2009 13:07

OKAY

more thoughts
when you are deleteing an event it says " cancel or confirm" and oyu think am i confirming i am cancelling or canclling the cancelling"?

anyone else find that?

ReginaCovington · 07/06/2009 13:10

also dh says ( i dont get this) why wont it sync with a gmail calendar

BoysAreLikeDogs · 07/06/2009 13:23

erk the children have downloaded my ringtone to the joggler then set it orf to see me scuttle to my mobile [red]

MerlinsBeard · 07/06/2009 14:04

i'd like to be able to set a recurring event eg DS1s gymnastics every week BUT i want to be able to delete 1 or 2 of those - it's not on in half term..however, it deletes the entire recurrance

IroningBored · 07/06/2009 14:37

You know what - The O2 Joggler would have been a cutting edge gadget in 2006, but its now 2009 and they have missed the boat

Unless O2 include calendar sych with other calendar products and make their calendar more flexible like Outlook.

In fact the ability to synch Joggler to an Outlook calendar would go down a storm

Why are they reinventing the wheel? Outlook is the default calendar product for millions worldwide An O2 interface would be fabalicious

LupusinaLlamasuit · 07/06/2009 14:49

Yes. Wot IroningBored said. We've all said it millions of times on here. Perhaps O2 have just assumed mummies (who will still be doing most of the joggling in most households) are just not up to speed with modern workplace tech? Which is a bit crap if that is what it behind it?

I have to admit to not testing the mobile stuff yet. Never switch my mobile on most of the time which could be why. Will insert SIM card they kindly sent into an old phone and see what happens. If only I can find the charger
