Hi, hope your Jogglers have arrived safely. Once you've had the chance to get them set up and had a play, please can you post your feedback to these questions from O2:

  1. Did you find it easy to set up?
  1. What worked best for you?
  1. Would you recommend it to a friend?
  1. Do you think it's good value for money
  1. Would you like to see any additions?
  1. How would you use it to organise your family life?
  1. Anything else you'd like to add?

And the latest on the webchats is that they'll now take place between 1-2pm (not 7pm) on Weds 10 June and Weds 1 July on www.mum-e.co.uk, but as usual if you can't make it on the day you can leave your questions/feedback in advance and the Joggler team will answer them/respond between 1-2pm.

We'll post the urls of the chats as soon as we have them.

Happy Joggling,

MNHQ

ReginaCovington · 02/06/2009 19:25

oh and yesterday i got back from work at 4pm to bake cookies ( was on list) for cricket tea fgs)

MerlinsBeard · 02/06/2009 19:49

how do you text to the joggler? I know you can text it to remind you but how do you text something to add to your calender?

ReginaCovington · 02/06/2009 19:58

can you?

lou031205 · 02/06/2009 20:03

MOM

If you text "template" to 80282, you will receive 5 text messages with templates:

  1. Add event
  2. Check Calendar
  3. Reminders off
  4. Reminders on
  5. Text message to calendar

To add an event you just text "add calendar_name, event, time" to 80282

lou031205 · 02/06/2009 20:05

Regina yes, the calendar has an inbox.

MrsWeasley · 02/06/2009 21:12

MOM I love the idea of a naughty alarm

Lou do you need to text from an O2 phone?

When I first put some music on it, I selected the ones I wanted to listen to and it played them but now it plays all of the song on the Joggler regardless of being selected. what am I doing wrong?

MerlinsBeard · 02/06/2009 22:05

did you mean 80202? the oither number doesn't work

MerlinsBeard · 02/06/2009 22:05

lol yes it's80202 (for anyone wondering) i just got 5 texts one after the other!!

ReginaCovington · 03/06/2009 07:33

right if mine goes off all day at school...

BreevandercampLGJ · 03/06/2009 08:01

I did that, it doesn't work.

BONKERZ · 03/06/2009 08:22

i used the alarm last night speciaifcally for DS who has ASD! I let him set the alarm so he knew when to get snack and then a second time for bed time.....i worked like a dream!
DS has also asked if i can do his visual timetable on HIS colour for the calendar as he likes the interaction of the calendar so this joggler may prove to be more invaluable than i thought if it means i can put activities and jobs on for DS! The less i have to talk to ds and ask him to do stuff the better really because he gets very anxious!! that is on my todo list today so we will see if it helps!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

wilbur · 03/06/2009 09:03

Do you think the Joggler has an app to tell ds2 to go back to farking bed when he gets up at 6? Now THAT would be a technological breakthrough.

BreevandercampLGJ · 03/06/2009 09:16

TEMPLATE needs to be in uppercase.

lou031205 · 03/06/2009 10:58

SORRY [BLUSH] 80202, yes. Not sure about the non-o2 question - can't see why it would matter.

MerlinsBeard · 03/06/2009 13:41

am really liking the memo function actually (despite it not being able to link to an event)

I often start writ8ing a shopping list as i run out of things ready for when i need to go but often lose the paper and forget half the things, i can keep adding to my shopping list on the joggler and DH may actually use it too!!

Still have to copy it out by hand though but never mind

fruitshootsandheaves · 03/06/2009 14:34

texting TEMPLATE doesn't work from a non O2 phone.

ReginaCovington · 03/06/2009 15:48

didnt work

largeginandtonic · 03/06/2009 20:09
  1. Did you find it easy to set up?

Oh yes, children could do it. Tedious though, too many things to enter although i really hope it will help.

  1. What worked best for you?

The calendar is great, it will be very useful. I also like the clock and weather updates!

  1. Would you recommend it to a friend?

I think so, so far anyway.

  1. Do you think it's good value for money

I say yes!

  1. Would you like to see any additions?

A radio would be great. Needs more memory too.

Please can we have more colours, i have 7 five of them are boys, some are not impressed with orange and yellow.

  1. How would you use it to organise your family life?

I will exhaust the calendar function. I NEED it.

  1. Anything else you'd like to add?

The fixed stand position, particularly when using it as a photo frame is driving me crazy.

The cable through the back is madness too, i need it to the side.

It MUST have a battery, even if only for half an hour is essential.

I am loving it, the children are tapping away too. It will be incredibly useful i think.

BecauseImWorthIt · 03/06/2009 20:47

I would like it if my Joggler had an address book.

I would also like it if it was linked to my phone, so that I could press a phone number and my phone would dial that number.

bramblebooks · 03/06/2009 22:29

I am hoping mine will arrive tomorrow.

BUT I have been trying to set up the calendar function online and keep getting 'error message'. I've tried it via iphone and computer, but can't get past the first set up hurdle

Anyone else get round this one?

ReginaCovington · 04/06/2009 14:03

lol at havign 7 kids
its still mad you know

dh says he wants an end time
is there not one already

ReginaCovington · 04/06/2009 14:04

oha dn ALSO

dh has acesssed it form work
then rang me from car on way home

" so there is nothign on tonight i checked on thejoggler"

farking hell

BONKERZ · 04/06/2009 21:09

Dh got his new phone on O2 and i have programmed him to get texts to remind him of stuff......not sure he will like that though in the current climate!

SoupDragon · 04/06/2009 21:10

I've ordered my ethernet hub so, when it arrives, I shall at last be able to get the Jim the Joggler to work!
