What did you/your children think of the taste of OGGS® mini vanilla cupcakes?
We found they had a funny aftertaste and that the icing left a weird film on the roof of your mouth. The sponge was nice and moist though.
What occasions would you purchase OGGS® mini vanilla cupcakes for?
If I was catering an event (like a kids birthday party) where I knew they would meet the needs of certain dietary requirements.
What makes OGGS® different from other supermarket brands?
The fact they are egg free. I also liked the fact the cupcakes were small as normally they are massive and too much.
Would you recommend OGGS® to a friend and why is that?
Only if they were vegan, if not there are other cakes available without the weird aftertaste.
Will you purchase OGGS® products in the future?
Possibly if like I said they would be appropriate for a birthday party or a guests visiting. The kids didn’t like them enough to justify me buying them as a regular treat.

We enjoyed them. I felt they were quite plain in taste and not too sweet. The texture looked like that of a normal cake with egg in but slightly lighter.

If I was having friends or family over and needed a dairy free dessert.

They are nicely decorated.

Would you recommend OGGS® to a friend and why is that?

I would if a friend was looking for vegan/dairy free as they don't seem different to a normal non-vegan cake.

I think the price of 4.25 is a little high and would be more likely to buy if they were a little cheaper.

Children licked the icing but left the cake. Shame as one of them is lactose intolerant! Adults thought they were ok, nice icing but nothing special.

What occasions would you purchase OGGS® mini vanilla cupcakes for? Is I had children with allergies / food preferences to cater for.

What makes OGGS® different from other supermarket brands? Being egg and dairy free but specialising in it.

Would you recommend OGGS® to a friend and why is that? Yes as it is hard to find a dairy and egg free brand.

Will you purchase OGGS® products in the future? Will do of the need arises but unfortunately not for my lactose intolerant nephew as he didn't like (but would look at other ogg products)

Very good but I have a sweet tooth, might be too sweet for others. I did like the fact vanilla was quite strong.

As a general treat as my kids are too old for parties. Also as an option for guests who want to cut down on dairy.

I have found the free from ranges in supermarkets tend to look rather dull and boring. The packaging really stands out as colourful and different

Yes because many of my friends are trying to reduce dairy intake

I loved them as did the kids. I was impressed.

Vegan. I’m not aware of any other vegan brands although I’m sure they exist.

Yes I thought the cakes were really tasty and didn’t feel like there was anything missing.

I found them too sweet, and didn’t enjoy the vanilla flavour as it was a bit artificial. My sister commented on an aftertaste. My son on the other hand, devoured a load of them, so he was keen!

I think only if I was having a vegan friend round for tea and cake, to male life easier.

What makes OGGS® different from other supermarket brands?
Dare I say the RRP? I feel they are going to be much more expensive than other cakes of their size.

Would you recommend OGGS® to a friend and why is that?
Yes to a vegan friend, to make their life easier! I know it’s not always easy to find tasty treats that suit a restricted diet.

Will you purchase OGGS® products in the future?
I’d he interested in buying the Aquafaba to bake my own cakes with varying flavours.

What did you/your children think of the taste of OGGS® mini vanilla cupcakes?
My children loved them, They thought the vanilla was lovely, loved the soft icing topping and sprinkles. They gobbled them up. I thought they were good, the ifing really nice. Little bit of a fliury taste to me thiugh, but then I am not a great muffin fan.
What occasions would you purchase OGGS® mini vanilla cupcakes for?
I like the small size and think they would be good in lunch boxes. I would buy them for a party, in case some one with imtolerances was there. I would buy then for DSis who cant and wont eat egg.
What makes OGGS® different from other supermarket brands?
Sustainable packaging, using aquafaba, which is a great idea.
Would you recommend OGGS® to a friend and why is that?
They are tasty, small and so a nice little treat without too heavy a calorific load. They look very cute. They really push on new modes of eating without use of animals.
Will you purchase OGGS® products in the future?
Yes, now and again for parties and occasional treats. They are a little bit expensive for me, so would not be a regulsr purchase. I like to think I would bake my own goods once in a while. Dont really get round to it much.

Would you recommend OGGS® to a friend and why is that? yes- because they’re dairy and egg free, I have already recommended them to 2 fellow parents of allergic kids!

I enjoyed them. Sponge was lovely, icing was a bit sickly but I have a huge sweet tooth so loved it.
DC weren't hugely impressed but said that they tasted fine.
I buy them if we had visitors with dietary requirements.
The price makes them different from other brands as they're so expensive!
I would recommend to a friend who was allergic to eggs or hosting a kids party.
I might buy them again but I wouldn't necessarily seek them out due to the cost.

At the suggested price of £4.25 for a small box I wouldn’t purchase them- but I suppose they would be good for parties where the children are dairy free

To be honest... not a lot compared to the supermarket ‘free from’ ranges

I wouldn’t on this occasion as I think there is cheaper and as-good offerings already- however if they were half price on occasion then I would!

We really liked them! They were very tasty and just the right size for a nice little treat.

I would consider purchasing them if a vegan/dairy free friend was coming over. As they are quite low calorie, I might buy them if I wanted a sweet treat but was counting my calories!

They are a fun looking cake for people with allergies or vegans. Often the egg free cakes look quite unappealing.

I'd recommend it to my vegan friends and anyone with an allergy. They are a tasty alternative to other cupcakes that they wouldn't be able to eat.

We liked them but unless they were for someone with a dietary need we didn't like them enough to buy them. I thought they were a bit almondy rather than vanilla, I wasn't too keen on the flavour. DD liked them and DH did too although he pointed out the sponge was a bit bland and it was the icing that made them nice.

For a specific person at a party eg allergies if needed, probably not any other purchases.

Taste: I thought they were ok only. DH, mother and father did not like taste or aftertaste finding it very artificial.
DS really liked the sprinkles and icing but didn't eat much of the sponge.

Occasions; I would definitely purchase these for a children's party for a child with allergies/dietary requirements/vegan. Would also consider for lunch boxes. I thought the size was great.

Difference; I think cruelty free and how pretty they looked set them apart.

Recommend; I would recommend it to a friend who was vegan or had allergies.

Future purchase; I would definitely purchase for a children's party if I child needed the alternative option.

I thought they were delicious. The kids licked the casings afterwards so guess they thought they were ok DH doesn't even like cupcakes and even he thought they were alright.

What occasions would you purchase OGGS® mini vanilla cupcakes for?
I think they'll be an occasional teatime treat. But they are probably best suited for birthday parties. Ds has a friend who is vegan and it's always nicer to put out something everyone can eat, rather than separate food. Its really hard to get good vegan cake so I was really impressed with these.

What makes OGGS® different from other supermarket brands?
I noticed that the packaging was recycled plastic so I was left with a good overall impression of the company.

Would you recommend OGGS® to a friend and why is that?
Yes absolutely, the product is excellent.

Adults and kids all enjoyed them, they were lighter than we anticipated, the topping was fantastically creamy although a little too sweet for me.

The kids liked them, but I think they were more drawn to the sprinkles and the cute size. I liked the sponge but thought the buttercream was a a bit artificial tasting. Far better than I expected for dairy cakes though!

I’d buy them for when my vegan friends come round as they are certainly better than any vegan cakes I’ve tried previously. There are a lot of artificial ingredients in them but I’d still recommend them to those who need or choose to eat dairy free.

The fact that they are dairy free sets them apart from usual supermarket cakes.

I wouldn’t buy them for us but would for any vegan/allergy guests.

I found the icing on top oily and it didn't melt in the mouth or anything but felt greasy. The actual cake was nice and lovely texture. My 5 year old ds loved them, especially the icing and sprinkles!

A treat to keep in the house or birthday parties to cater for vegan guests.

They are a nice size and quite moist not liken some other vegan cakes we have tried. Also less sugar than some brands. My ds would eat cake all day so these are nice size and calorie count as a treat.

Yes a lower sugar and vegan alternative.

1 The taste was OK. Had a bit of an after taste but it was the same sort of after taste all mass produced buns seem to have.
2 I think I would only buy them if we had a party and knew we needed the dietary alternative. They are going to be quite expensive so would likely only buy if I had to.
