This thread is for all the MNers who have been trying Walkers Sunbites. Below are some questions to get you started but please feel free to add other comments too. Everyone who adds their feedback on this thread will be entered into a prize draw where one winner will get a £250 high street voucher.

Q1 What was your overall impression of the product? Did you enjoy eating them or not? If so, why? If not, why not?

Q2 How would you describe Sunbites to a friend who didn't know what they were?

Q3 Which flavour did you like the most? Are there any other flavours you'd like to see in the range?

Q4 Thinking about Sunbites in comparison to other snacks, can you think of one feature which makes Sunbites different? If so, what is it?

Q5 If it came up in conversation, do you think you'd recommend Sunbites to your friends? If so, why? If not, why not?

Thanks and good luck with the prize draw!

Oh no I'm on my second pack, this is defeating the point of them being "healthier"

Q1 What was your overall impression of the product? Did you enjoy eating them or not? If so, why? If not, why not?
I actually liked the fact that they weren't too overpoweirng in flavour. I think that as basically a crisp substitute they aren't going to be brilliant for you, so I can see why the pack is small, even though I could have eaten about twice the amount Blush. I was very surprised and dismayed to read the ingredients list and see the sugar content. Is there really any need for it to be almost 10% of a savoury snack?? I do say this as a previous fatty who is now convinced sugar was my downfall, so I do tend to look at sugar contents in things. I don't know if it would bother other people so much.

Q2 How would you describe Sunbites to a friend who didn't know what they were?
Like crisps but not crisps! They had a nice texture but not the saltiness of crisps.

Q3 Which flavour did you like the most? Are there any other flavours you'd like to see in the range?
I like them. The chilli ones were my favourite, followed by the sour cream and pepper ones. I think the flavours match the product actually, it's basically your standard flavours but a bit poncier in name. If anything. I'd like to see them in a bigger bag for scoffing sharing.

Q4 Thinking about Sunbites in comparison to other snacks, can you think of one feature which makes Sunbites different? If so, what is it?
The texture and the fact that they do taste very savoury rather than sugary. But oh please do look at the sugar content.

Q5 If it came up in conversation, do you think you'd recommend Sunbites to your friends? If so, why? If not, why not?
Yes I would. I know a lot of people don't like giving their children crisps and on the surface this does seem a reasonable alternative. We all liked the comparitively mild flavours too.

Q4 I meant salty, not sugary. Duh. I blame my carb addled brain.

Q1 What was your overall impression of the product? Did you enjoy eating them or not? If so, why? If not, why not? They are great, the kids loved them. Light and tasty not over flavoured.

Q2 How would you describe Sunbites to a friend who didn't know what they were? little crisp wheaty crisps

Q3 Which flavour did you like the most? Are there any other flavours you'd like to see in the range? Sweet Chilli

Q4 Thinking about Sunbites in comparison to other snacks, can you think of one feature which makes Sunbites different? If so, what is it? They are lighter than most available savoury snacks and taste good for something that is wholewheat.

Q5 If it came up in conversation, do you think you'd recommend Sunbites to your friends? If so, why? If not, why not? Yes especially those with kids.

We have had friends around today so the kids did a taste panel with them - of all 5 kids including one child who only eats crisps and pasta at the moment loved them!

Q1 What was your overall impression of the product? Did you enjoy eating them or not? If so, why? If not, why not?

Yes I liked them. They were nice and light, not too salty or dry and had an interesting range of flavours. Although I didnt enjoy some of the flavours (rosemary, cheddar and chilli were my least favourite) I appreciated seeing something different in the 'healthy crisp' range.

Q2 How would you describe Sunbites to a friend who didn't know what they were?

If normal crisps are white bread, then these are wholemeal.

Q3 Which flavour did you like the most? Are there any other flavours you'd like to see in the range?

The DCs and I liked the lightly salted best. I'd like to see some version of Salt and Vinegar as they are my weakness.

Q4 Thinking about Sunbites in comparison to other snacks, can you think of one feature which makes Sunbites different? If so, what is it?

The interesting range of flavours.

Q5 If it came up in conversation, do you think you'd recommend Sunbites to your friends? If so, why? If not, why not?

I think I'd probably say that they were nice enough and I enjoyed them, as did the children.

Mine arrived yesterday and I am ashamed to say I have eaten two packets already! They were both nice, but the salted ones were delicious !!!! Savoury and tasty without being overly salty, with a nice crunch that you don't normally get from baked/low fat snacks. The sweet chili ones were nice too, but for general snacking I tend to prefer plain crisps.

ours arrived this morning!!

Q1 What was your overall impression of the product? Did you enjoy eating them or not? If so, why? If not, why not?
The packaging was attractive - gave the impression of it being a healthy snack. We've tried the 'sour cream' one and it's crispy, not overwhelmingly salty or fake in taste. Good texture and satisfying crunch factor

Q2 How would you describe Sunbites to a friend who didn't know what they were?
Very morish. Healthy, light and tasty.

Q3 Which flavour did you like the most? Are there any other flavours you'd like to see in the range?
We've only tried the sour cream so far - can imagine we will like them all! My husband has suggested that you could try to create a 'cuttlefish' flavour (he's obsessed with Octonauts; and also because he's tried the crisps from the Asian/chinese supermarket...).

Q4 Thinking about Sunbites in comparison to other snacks, can you think of one feature which makes Sunbites different? If so, what is it?
It doesn't worry me if I were to give this to my toddler (as opposed to the traditional Walkers crisps or any other crisps). If I eat them in front of my children they almost always want one...so I'd be happy to share these with my children (knowing that the salt content etc isn't as 'harmful'??)

Q5 If it came up in conversation, do you think you'd recommend Sunbites to your friends? If so, why? If not, why not?
Yes. overall they are a good product, tasty, healthy.
