What Amazon REALLY thinks of you

Flamingbanana214 · 06/10/2026 18:48

I've just read a hilarious Threads about this.

Go to your amazon account > shopping preferences > scroll down > about you.

Mine is fairly tame "has a cat" "travels regularly" "regularly purchases skincare" etc but some of the screenshots on threads were fantastic -

"Has flat buttocks:
"Likes to buy hats for their dog"
"Had a relationship with La Toya Jackson"
"Has no friends"

What does your amazon think of you??

Go to AI and ask it to describe poster called <name> on Mumsnet.

I typed "describe the poster Error404FucksNotFound on Mumsnet"

I got "There is no prominent or widely recognized poster by the name of "Error404FucksNotFound" on Mumsnet.
The phrase is a popular internet meme and merchandise slogan (frequently found on t-shirts and stickers) that plays on the standard website "Error 404: Page Not Found" message to humorously signal that someone has completely run out of patience or care
If you encountered this name recently on the platform, it is highly likely:

  • A throwaway or newly created account chosen by a user who wanted a humorous, anonymous username.
  • A misremembered username of a different well-known Mumsnet poster.
Because Mumsnet allows users to change their names relatively easily (often referred to on the site as "name-changing" or "NCing"), minor accounts frequently appear and disappear without leaving a lasting reputation in the community's culture."

well, fuck me I guess😂

Ridiculous.

Is that some sort of humble brag? Grin

Hettyhopeless · 06/10/2026 22:01

Mine says
”creates elaborate hairstyles”
”practices gymnastics regularly”
”systematically building gymnastics equipment collection”
”likely owns a swimming pool” - sadly I don’t!

Error404FucksNotFound · 06/10/2026 22:03

found the amazon thing
owns a cat
prefers premium ice cream brands
favours bulk candy purchases

fair.

TiredAndUseless1493 · 06/10/2026 22:04

Mine believes I take part in historical reenactments 🤔

I mean, I went to a fancy dress party two years ago, but I’m not sure that counts!

salcombebabe · 06/10/2026 22:07

Mine asks me if I'd like a business account as I could get preferential rates 🤦‍♀️🤣

PuppySnores · 06/10/2026 22:09

Apparently I "engage extensively in dog training".

I note it has no views on its success.

Objectrelations · 06/10/2026 22:10

Mine seems to think I am building an extensive tool collection including power tools and that I probably own a bike 🤣

Igneococcus · 06/10/2026 22:18

"Maintains steady chai consumption"

Very true that.

MabelAnderson · 06/10/2026 22:18

Ahhhhaa hahahahah ahhhahahahaha
just looked at mine with dd. Crying laughing

2boyzNosleep · 06/10/2026 22:21

This is great! Mine is:

"Seeks extreme and novelty food experiences", "seeks extreme culinary challenges", "prefers extreme spicy challenges".

My DS wantwd a hot chip challenge from Amazon....

spiderlight · 06/10/2026 22:24

Apparently my only hobby is 'Organises and optimises home storage options' 😂

OnTheBoardwalk · 06/10/2026 22:26

Enjoys premium alcoholic beverages Sounds right to me

ErrolTheDragon · 06/10/2026 22:28

I don’t have an Amazon account, but I now very much want to see what DH's says about him!😂

Happyjoe · 06/10/2026 22:29

Absolutely nothing on mine, I guess I stopped that action when signed up? I tend to turn off everything, emails, marketing, info. All blank. Almost disappointed! Ha.

Scully01 · 06/10/2026 22:30

Is this just in the app? Can't seem to find it online

Ereshkigalangcleg · 06/10/2026 22:31

Mine just says “outdoor space mostly gravel and concrete”. How the fuck does it know that? I’ve never to my knowledge posted a photo. I don’t have that many photos of this garden.

Ereshkigalangcleg · 06/10/2026 22:32

Happy with this though!

On Mumsnet, the user Ereshkigal (who also posts under the longer handle Ereshkigalangcleg) is a highly prominent, long-standing, and prolific poster. She is best known as a central figure on the forum's Feminism and Women’s Rights (FWR) board. 1, 2, 3, 4]
Her online persona and reputation on the platform are characterized by several key traits:

  1. Staunchly Gender Critical
Ereshkigal is deeply involved in the forum's intense debates surrounding sex and gender. She holds strong "gender-critical" views, regularly arguing against self-identification, gender identity ideology, and what she views as the erasure of biological women's spaces and rights. 1, 2, 3, 4]
  1. High-Information & Analytical Posting
Unlike casual posters, Ereshkigal frequently acts as an information aggregator for the community. She routinely links to academic articles, legal developments, media features, and public policy papers (such as material on the Public Sector Equality Duty or impact assessments). Fellow posters often rely on her to dissect complex political or legislative issues affecting women. 1, 2]
  1. Direct and Unapologetic Tone
Her posting style is famously sharp, articulate, and entirely unyielding. She does not mince words when arguing with ideological opponents or holding public entities to account, making her a highly respected "heavyweight" among the forum's feminist contingent, but a highly polarizing figure to those who disagree with her. 1, 2, 3]
  1. Broader Feminist Focus
While heavily active in sex and gender discussions, her contributions span wider radical feminist topics. She frequently posts resources regarding women's safety, analyzing male violence, and dissecting the social dynamics between men and women (often referencing feminist texts and literature). 1, 2, 3]
  1. Meta-Commentary on Mumsnet itself
Because of her longevity on the site, she is highly fluent in "Mumsnet culture" and frequently posts in the "Site Stuff" section. She often comments on thread moderation, data privacy, site functionality, and how Mumsnet handles outside public scrutiny and media attention. 1, 2, 3]

Mines quite boring.
Probably lives in the town where I live.
Concentrates major purchases around specific time periods.
Uses prime consistently.
Probably has an Echo sport smart device.
Builds comprehensive echo-systems - whatever that means.

well, fuck me I guess😂

It tried to do that to me and I pushed back and then it found me - try insisting that it’s a poster you want information on

DrHGS · 06/10/2026 22:38

“Seasonal gardening burst” - fair 😂

OnTheBoardwalk · 06/10/2026 22:40
