Anybody care to join?

I realised that it was the everyday stuff I missed most during lockdown. I really miss things being normal and dull and unexciting. Everyone in RL just talks covid covid covid all the bloody time. If it isn't covid it's recessions and A levels.

I bought a new flask. It's a 500ml Thermocafe and I love it. I take it into work and out into the garden.

I am also learning to do something called a "halo braid" in my hair. I am so bad at braiding it's unbelievable.

The cat hid a dead shrew in DH's slipper this morning.

I invite you all to top this parade of mediocrity.

I have a slightly expensive and indulgent grocery delivery coming tomorrow and I can't wait.

On my GF grill I tried a ham and cheese panini.

I was watching YouTube on Friday night and an American bloke was making a bacon and cheese sandwich on his GF, quite a revelation. A tip was to butter the outside of the bread so it goes nice and crispy..

My mum used to do this for cheese toasties: delicious.

I use my George Forman to make toasties and I wrap them in some greaseproof paper so I don't need to clean melted cheese off the grill. I can reuse the same piece greaseproof paper for the whole family.

I'm a combination of restless and tired at the moment so got a cup of tea and chocolate.

I'd like to see my friend but think he's asleep.

I'm going to try a tuna melt this week. Good tip about the grease proof paper 👍

I love marrowfat peas & mushy peas. The ones that come in a cardboard box and you soak them then boil. Think il be living off them before payday

Also. I found a cake pop maker in the cupboard under the stairs and ive took it out the box and put it in the kitchen to use at some point this century. Anyone used one before?

And do you have an air fryer? Love mine! You can get one for less than 50 quid could be a temp measure til you get oven fixed? I use mine about 90% more than my oven since i got it!

I had a lovely halloumi and avocado toasted muffin from Starbucks and dropped it.

My new "tummy and bust gel" has given me a rash 😫

I just came up from feeding NDN cats and cleaning the litter.
The younger one is a sibling of our late DCat, the older one is getting really old and sleeps mostly or ignores me.

I need to do a lot of ironing today. I am having a cup of coffee first though.

I really like cookie sandwich desserts (cookies with ice cream in the middle) and I found one in a restaurant last night. Not had one in about two years!
