Oh Wiggins, oh Bradley
I love you quite madley
You look tres sexee
In the yellow jersey
Vous etes tres bon
Avant le peloton
With your mates Cav and Froome
To Paris you'll zoom
Do your side burns help you steer?
When you win I will shed a tear.

9th September, Mini. Stage one is Ipswich to Norfolk Showground. The final stage finishes in Guildford on 16th September.

The Vuelta must be starting soon, too. Apparently ITV4 will be showing highlights :)

GoCavWiggoMillarFroomeetal · 17/08/2012 19:00

The Vuelta starts tomorrow! Come on Froome! Ian Stannard from TeamGB is also taking part. It's brilliant that ITV4 will be showing the highlights Grin.

SeashellsAllezModInYellowAllez · 17/08/2012 19:31

Looking forward to tomorrow! Not keen in Froome dog normally but would love (and feel he deserves) him to beat contqdor on his return!

Yay itv4-they have done a good job on the cycling :)

So, anyone else think wiggo drank too much after the Olympics to be competitive in Denmark?!! cynic Wink tbf he does deserve a party after all the sacrifices he has made :)

HalfMumHalfBiscuit · 17/08/2012 22:43

Hi all. News is that wiggo is on holiday in mallorca and is not doing the tour of Denmark anymore. [http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/general/others/cycling-bradley-wiggins-return-put-on-hold-after-sky-rest-him-for-tour-of-denmark-8053910.html looky here]

I will be supporting Froome dog.

Hi GoCav.

sorry here

Nah, Seashells, I reckon they're resting him so he can look all regal and magnificent rather than a bit tired for his adoring fans in the Tour of Britain.

GO FROOMEDOG! Not yet though, tomorrow please. Hopefully he's getting some sleep right now. Nsomfunny that Froomedog has become his name, simply because he seemed so baffled by it. Brilliant :)

evilgiraffe · 17/08/2012 22:48

Ahem. That should be "So funny", of course.

evilgiraffe · 19/08/2012 16:59

Wiggo's announced he's doing tour of Britain! Hurrah! Grin no word on Cav or Millar yet though...

HalfMumHalfBiscuit · 20/08/2012 14:33

Evil - not that we would be stalking at all. Grin

Ride with Brad looked like it was a massive success!

HalfMumHalfBiscuit · 20/08/2012 22:52

Froome doing well at the Vuelta. 4th currently, good lad.

evilgiraffe · 21/08/2012 07:01

Yay Froome!

Also: I'M GOING TO GET TO SEE CAV!!!

SeashellsAllezModInYellowAllez · 21/08/2012 09:17

I'm trying to figure out how u can justify a 4hr round trip whilst my mil is visiting...so exciting :)

WhitesandsofLuskentyre · 21/08/2012 22:06

The Tour is passing within 200 metres of my front door! AaaaggghhH! How excited?!

HalfMumHalfBiscuit · 21/08/2012 22:29

Lucky thing whitesands!

Seashells I am sure you will think of something.

Vuelta quite exciting. Crashes, Froome 2nd. Accusations that team sky caused crash etc. ! It's all kicking off!

OP posts:
evilgiraffe · 21/08/2012 22:35

I think Movistar were getting a bit daft, saying that Sky caused the crash (and on purpose too). Not sure whether the peloton should have waited for Valverde or not though - they can't pin all the blame on Sky, especially as BMC and Katusha took their turns too. I imagine it's going to be a rather uncomfortable atmosphere for our boys tomorrow.

Whitesands - how lucky are you?! Great stuff :)

Seashells, there's bound to be a good excuse in there somewhere. Would MIL be remotely interested in cheering on cyclists?

HalfMumHalfBiscuit · 21/08/2012 22:54

I think TOB is going to be on ITV4 for those of us who don't have a peloton going past the houseWink. Mini we might be visiting that weekend. Argh, the banner!

Evil, Froome does not seem the type of lad who would do that on purpose. He did see the crash tho. And carried on with a load of others. You are right. A tricky day tomorrow for team sky. Latin temperaments etc.

GoCavWiggoMillarFroomeetal · 21/08/2012 23:42

Dammit, I go out for a few drinks and it all kicks off in the Vuelta! Halfmum and mini, I'm expecting great things of your ToB banner. I reckon MN could surpass the Ode especially with added Cav smut Grin!

On a completely unrelated note , I've just booked a cycling holiday Blush.

HalfMumHalfBiscuit · 22/08/2012 13:13

GoCav - unrelated ha! Its not in France is it??

ToB Ode to Team Sky ideas please everyone

OP posts:
Minimammoth · 24/08/2012 21:41

O o o. Lost thread. Alas can't get time off coincidng with T o B. Brain clogged so no Ode ideas forthcoming. So let's have your Cav smut Gocav.

HalfMumHalfBiscuit · 05/09/2012 10:56

GoCav are you watching the Road to Glory on Sky Atlantic? lots of Cav action on there for you.

Am contemplating time off to watch TOB nearbyish. Depending on what time it starts.

OP posts:
evilgiraffe · 05/09/2012 13:38

No sky tv for me, or I'd be watching it :(

DH has just signed us up for the RideLondon ballot for next summer - squeeeeeee! Fingers crossed we are both allowed in!

HalfMumHalfBiscuit · 05/09/2012 22:54

Good luck evil.

TOB Welshpool leg starts at 10.15am. hmmm...
