I agree Cancellara looks in a huge amount of pain, poor guy.

Phew, now I'd better do some work. More excitement tomorrow, not sure if I can take it!

One thing I wish the cameras wouldn't do is zoom in on people when they've just finished or are in trouble like Cancellara. It seems really intrusive and unkind - it happens especially in crashes and I'm surprised the cameramen don't get thumped sometimes!

What a fantastic day!!!! Completely overwhelming! We watched on the roadside (brilliant views), then once all the riders had passed by, we went up to the cool down area where we saw Bradley cross the line and do a lap alongside us . For the medals ceremony we clung on to the railings of Hampton Court, belting out the national anthem and watching the big screen.

But what will stay with me the most was the warmth and camaraderie between all the spectators. Absolutely amazing! Our poster even had a fan club all of it's own .

Halfmum took lots of fab photos of Froome and Wiggins and has film footage of Bradley going around our corner, as well as an accidental close up of his legs .

AWESOME Day. Just paid for wifi on train to talk to you guys. We had a brilliant time. So chuffed with banner. Hopefully brad saw it. Everyone else did. Cannot wait to see it on tv. Had a tear in my eye just reading this thread. Am totally on a buzz now. Great to meet Gocav too.

Watched them fly through Kingston, just awesome, awesome, awesome. The crowd were incredible, such support.

Well spotted Neverme I will try to see it, was weirdly proud of the mnetters.

I have such a tension headache from this afternoon, I couldn't look up at the screen until it was over because of nerves, but watched it all again on catch up. It was so brilliant!! I'm so happy for him and Froome, what an amazing day. Tony Martin has a nice face.

Mornin'. I think it must be dehydration Gocav. I had bad leg cramps in the night from all that cycling . Did you see the footage of Wiggo searching the crowds for his wife and kids? Clearly they were outside the gates. Velodrome today. Unfortunately I wil not be in front of a screen. Cheer for me everyone, well not me personally, on my behalf.

We have just spent a week in North Wales training the DDs to hang out the car window and scream "Allez, allez, allez" whenever we pass a cyclist.

DD2 also chanted "Badley, Badley".
