Oh Wiggins, oh Bradley
I love you quite madley
You look tres sexee
In the yellow jersey
Vous etes tres bon
Avant le peloton
With your mates Cav and Froome
To Paris you'll zoom
Do your side burns help you steer?
When you win I will shed a tear.

Hallo,
We know this thread was started in chat off the back of the maillot jaune but after his Olympic hero status, we thought it a good idea to move this to our London2012 topic so it doesn't get lost forever.
Thanks

I've had a reply from Helen at MNHQ- apparently they don't have a hotline to Wiggins or Froome Wink but will let us know if they get a Bolt of inspiration tomorrow.

Thanks for posting all the snippets, my cycling knowledge has massively increased in just over a week. I'm obsessed Smile

I'm sure you experts would have seen this, but for newbies like me, here is a good Wiggo documentary.

Brad is going to be chuffed. I hear The Who are playing at the opening ceremony! THE WHO!

Opening ceremony? Wink I just really, really want them to be playing and just off to one side is Brad draped over one of those cheesy thrones nodding along to the music Grin

Did you see that photo of him with Weller? He looked seriously cool. I'll see if I can find it again.

I am just watching a bit of triathlon, we're going good. Am impressed with the way the Frenchman's hair is not moving at all, even though it's a bit Hugh Grant. They have cycled, swum and run he must be well gelled.

One of his bikes is on ebay Grin

There's a bit of debate as to whether the bloke should be selling as he's just won it, but I don't blame him and hope he finds a buyer.

If I won the lottery I'd buy it, although I might have to put the saddle down a bit.

Brilliant Ode. Not quite so hilarious (or as pervy) as some of ours, though. And she missed out Cav and Froomedog :(

Lovely ode from CAD. A weeny bit highbrow for these parts. She's prob been on here for some tips tho'. Wink

By the way don't miss the last bike event of the Olympics. Tomorrows mens mountain bike race will be gripping if the women's was anything to go by. Our fave Chris Boardman commentating. he is a total star.

So, does anyone have any idea when the teams for the Tour of Britain will be announced? I discovered the other day that stage one is finishing at Norfolk Showground, so DH and I will be there! Fingers crossed Wiggo and Cav are in the Team Sky squad... And if Cav is in it, there's a good chance he'll win stage one, because East Anglia is as flat as a pancake... Which means I might get to SEE CAV WINNING

No, I thought I'd read that they both were, but that must have been speculation.
There is this though (caution, DM link) I don't know enough about cycling events to know how long a gap they need?

Evil - I think the lads will do the tour of Britain. We'll watch the leg from Welshpool I think.
