Oh Wiggins, oh Bradley
I love you quite madley
You look tres sexee
In the yellow jersey
Vous etes tres bon
Avant le peloton
With your mates Cav and Froome
To Paris you'll zoom
Do your side burns help you steer?
When you win I will shed a tear.

Bradley bradley kiss me on the lips
I will grab hold of your bugger grips
I will ride your cycle but without a saddle
Beat me on the bottom with a bike shaped paddle

Your so skinny and i,m so not
Lets make a baby and put it in a cot
Your legs are like pipe cleaners, mine are like trees
I,ll leave my nightie on the floor and i'll be on my knees

If your tyre,s flat i will give it a pump
Please drop down a gear when you go over my hump
You can speed it up when youre going down my road
If there,s a tissue handy you can dump your load in said tissue

didnt even watch him cycling but saw a picture in paper so very 'allegedly' with my thoughts

Can't believe it's on sky news. Good work people. Surprised at lack of lusty cab quotes as he in on tv. Loved Wiggo on tv last night at press conference. He swore about 10 times and said "skidders" about his stolen dirty kit. Classic.

Loved the poem at the T/T - well done!

ON way home last night I caught a rear wheel puncture. My first thought was "well, where's the Team Pan car with a keen tech replacing my bike with an identical bike except with an inflated rear tyre?" They weren't there!

So I walked the 25mins to the train station, contemplating a new prof. cycling career to avoid all of that walking....not the best motivation is it?Grin

HalfMumHalfBiscuit · 02/08/2012 22:51

It was a brilliant day Pan. Some of the cyclists don't have a car with spare bikes behind them so don't get too jealous. A tech team would be handy tho.

oh I bet it was HalfMum - just got back to see highlights of the velodrome events. Swelling with pride!

fwiw, it was a 1/4 inch tack thing that hit me. Me and Cadel Evans? Brothers in arms.Grin

HalfMumHalfBiscuit · 03/08/2012 22:02

Duchess, we live in that vicinity and went for a cycle ride yesterday with the DC's and at least 4 people shouted 'come on Wiggo' to DS.

I have been trying to send the photo's to GoCav today, fingers crossed, should have worked now.

Also trying to upload one or two to my profile page. Will let you know when they are there.

The film of when Wiggo went past is hilarious. Basically I held the camera up, everyone went nuts shouting, I filmed the sky, the banners and then Sir Wiggins flies past. Brilliant.

Right, have uploaded a couple of pics for your amusement. Enjoy.

Let me know if you can't see em.

OP posts:
ThePan · 03/08/2012 22:50

no access to your profile??

ThePan · 03/08/2012 22:51

Yay!Grin

HalfMumHalfBiscuit · 03/08/2012 22:53

Blimey that took long enough to work.

I also have a pic of a load of people taking a pic of the banner and a v blurry one of Wiggos head.

ThePan · 03/08/2012 22:54

More!!

HalfMumHalfBiscuit · 03/08/2012 22:57

Uploading one of people looking at the banner. It was a beautiful thing. Bet GoCav slept under it on Wed night.

HalfMumHalfBiscuit · 03/08/2012 23:04

Have added one of Tony Martin and Taylor Phinney.

I love the photos halfmum, thank you for sending them to me- such a fab day! My glazed-eyed work colleagues have already been subjected to the Sky News footage so now I can show off some action shots! Mr GoCav has finally stopped sulking now- at one point I thought that I would be sleeping under the banner....in the doghouse Grin.

Puppypanic · 04/08/2012 00:15

Wonderful banner and looked such a good day. I've just read I thread the whole thread and it's fab! I've been cycling for about a year and am just loving going out and feeling all sort of special Grin!

evilgiraffe · 04/08/2012 01:08

Wow, did the Ode really attract that much attention?! I am boggled!

You know what though, if it got on Sky news there might actually be a chance that our Team Sky boys might see it... Shock Grin

HalfMumHalfBiscuit · 04/08/2012 08:07

Puppy you are right cycling makes you feel special now. I eyed up some road bikes yesterday. One day one will be mine.

Evil- the ode really drew in the crowds. It was hard to take it down!

I hope Wiggo and Frome have seen it.

GoCavWiggoMillarFroomeetal · 04/08/2012 08:23

This person liked it too

Not entirely sure what to do with said banner now. Would be nice to do something charitable with it. Ideas anyone? Wonder if we could get it signed? Do any lurkers know Wiggins or anyone in TeamGB Wink?

SeashellsAllezModInYellowAllez · 04/08/2012 08:36

Superb pictures! You can tell it is brad Wink

Glad you had a fantastic day. We have been glued to the velodrome action now...so gutted we didn't get tickets!

Minimammoth · 04/08/2012 10:35

Perhaps Mumsnet HQ could use their influence.

Dear Wiggo and Mrs Brad,
If you have seen our 'Ode' poster please let us know. You might even sign it and then it could be sold for a charity of your choosing.
C'mon give us a sign.

GoCavWiggoMillarFroomeetal · 04/08/2012 10:46

Good idea Mini- I'll report your post to MNHQ!

evilgiraffe · 04/08/2012 13:09

Bonus points if Froomedog signs it too! (I love that he was so completely nonplussed by seeing that name on the road in the Tour - I'm calling him Froomedog FOREVER)

Minimammoth · 04/08/2012 18:10

Cycling team...... Words fail me. The women are flying.
